This 18th Century, Grade11 listed pub is an experience that shouldn't be missed. Nice pint of Fullers London Pride, with plenty of other beers to choose from. The original old pub has been extended to be more than twice it's floor area. Good food menu and friendly staff. Plenty of seating inside and out. Large car park. Frontage of the pub is best seen on the south side.
As always the food at The Bear was delicious as always. We love coming to the pub for the excellent dog friendly atmosphere and lovely menu. The portion sizes are good. We only had one small issue where our dessert options weren’t logged so the food didn’t come out as expected.
First time in here Food was great, good service too. Maybe a wider selection of larger would be better
