Delightful little pub, don't be fooled, there more space than you think and a garden as well. Good range of beers I had Flack's double drop, great pint.
Love this pub! Have visited twice, both on a Saturday. Staff are really friendly and will serve you drinks at your table.
History…. The decor in this place is awesome. True to everything about the place. Gray place to drink beer. Try the local stuff. When the weather is good , sit in the back and enjoy being outside in the garden.
Relatively new place as a pub, this former Chemist shop and bus waiting room is enjoying a new lease of life. Nice selection of beers, friendly staff and a good place to watch the world go by!
Feb 2025 update I'm pleased to say nothing has changed, still a brilliant pub. My only comment is I don't like cinnamon and they are, by the smell, still making mulled drinks. I couldn't sit in the bar but that's okay they still do table service! I love the Cocky, the only pub in Romsey with table service whether inside or out. They don't serve food but they do sell crisps, lots of good beers, wine, cider etc. I love the Prosecco mini bottles, in the summer with a strawberry in! Lovely garden with plenty of seats, cosy inside, small little area out the front. The entire front window opens and you can get a real sense of being outside in the summer. Great staff who are welcoming and friendly. All in all a great pub.
