A beautiful little tea room. The people were super friendly and for the price, the portion sizes were amazing. The only let down was the chicken katsu sandwich, it wasn't the best and the salad leaves on the plates weren't washed which wasn't the nicest unfortunately. I would definitely come back though, the savoury scones were amazing.
Had a delicious lunch here today of watercress soup and two watercress scones. Enjoyed so much I bought some scones to take home! Lovely little cafe and friendly helpful staff. Would recommend
We were in town visiting the watercress line and wanted a spot of lunch. Tucked down an alley is this venue. Very polite and friendly service. Best choice of meals I’ve seen in a longtime, and prices that were easily the best in town. I opted for a fish and chips whilst my father opted for corned beef hash. Generous portions all served up piping hot and could tell it was proper home cooked food. Do yourself a favour and visit. Your wallet and tastebuds won’t regret it.
Very welcoming and cozy feeling. Friendly staff and amazing food. Almost too much choice that I might need to come again
