Oh my gosh this place is amazing ! I can’t believe something this chic and cute is in the new forest! The staff are so lovely and the interior is so cosy and aesthetically pleasing. Every little bit of potential comfort has been thought out. All the furniture has been really well thought through.

Lovely little coffee shop. Cozy and quirky atmosphere. The staff were very polite and helpful. The place was clean and service was pretty quick considering the had quite a few orders to make. Coffee was decent (cafetiere of the Columbian coffee) and the sandwich I had was lovely (Bacon with brie and cranberry on sourdough) The only let down was it felt a little pricey compared to similar places I've been to in the past. But I think it's worth a trip at least once.

Fantastic like cafe. We ate in the courtyard outside which was wonderful in the sunshine. We had full breakfast and veggie breakfast £11 each. Sun shining, mellow music playing, it was lovely. Would go again.

Food was wonderful, service was amazing & I was incredibly impressed by the level of gluten free options at the afternoon tea. Will definitely be returning. Photos of my gluten free which was shared between two of us.

Lovely cosy atmosphere with unique decor, loved the jazz playing in the background and log burner. Great coffee and delicious food!

A nice quaint cafe situated near breamore house. A nice relaxing atmosphere when you enter, welcomed be friendly customer service. Food was lovely here and definitely worth the money, very generously on the teapot size, latte was also nice and hot.

Delightful cafe close to Breamore House which, unlike the house, is open all year round. We visited on an overcast day in March and can’t wait to visit on a warm day as the outside tables look lovely! Very relaxed vibe, friendly too with both dog and small grandchild welcomed. Food tasty and fresh, alcohol available too but it was too early in the day for us. Most of the other clients were in hiking gear and looking at the map there are some great walks close by. We’ll be back for coffee followed by a walk and back again for lunch! I can fully recommend this place

A cute little cafe, but I feel like it's missing something special. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food on offer had a wide range with bagels, sandwiches cakes etc. I think this could be so much more with a couple of tweaks with offering local bakery items like bread etc. Flat White and Dirty Chai were quite milky, Coffee could have been stronger.

On Valentines day we booked a table for lunch, and brought Jack, our elderly Jack Russell terrier with us. The food and service was great, as usual, and the staff so friendly and lovely. Thank you for another enjoyable visit.

A lovely little hot spot in the New Forest to stop off for refreshments. We had an Afternoon Cream Tea and it was all delicious; I've been to so many Cream Teas where you have no choices other than tea or coffee, so was pleasantly surprised to choose your own individual selection of sandwich fillings, scones with choice of jams and topping that off with a selection of traditional cakes. Lots of other lunch and light bite choices on the menu along with a specials board, too. There is plenty of seating inside and out with some ouside tables undercover for those mixed weather days. A tip if it's raining, take a brolly as the toilets are only accessible from the outside, though don't be put off by this as its literally only 30 paces.

This appears to be very popular with walkers and cyclists. There is an indoor area with table service and a large outdoor area, with a counter to order from. The menu usn't huge but it had a nice variety of options. I was particularly keen to try the vegan cream tea which came with vegan whipped cream from a can rather than a clotted cream. All the food tasted good, and represented good value for money.

Had a lovely lunch stop on a walk from Burley along the old railway line to Holmsley Tea Rooms and back. Arrived at 11:30 when the menu changed over from breakfast to lunch, but this didn't delay anything. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had a Savoury Cream Tea and Whitebait. Delicious!!

What is great little find this was. We came across it in 2023 when we were holidaying in the area, and visited twice when we came back this year for the August Bank Holiday week. My wife needs gluten free food and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Fabulous full English, nicely priced too. We will be back in 2025. If you like your gardend it's part of a very well stocked independent garden centre, but for me it's Robins Nest that takes me there.

My mother and I were out for a drive, and wanted to try somewhere new. A quirky tearoom with very nice staff. Great coffee and brownie for me, while mum had a cheese scone and tea. Delicious!

This is a really lovely little place. I had a sausage and egg sandwich and the sausages were great quality, plus it was in white bloomer, as it should be! Very friendly service too.

Very friendly and warm atmosphere. I had the oreo luxury milkshake and the cookies and cream blondie, and both were lovely. Portions of the treats are a little small (which is reflected in the price) which I appreciated as it didn't feel like an overindulgence. :) The tea room is situated in a plant nursery, and there's a lovely little garden walk opposite. Both the tea room and the nursery are dog friendly.

Excellent little coffee shop with cakes and basic lunch menu. Helped run by volunteers with the income going to the local church. Why not stop on route to the forest.

The best place for good proper coffee at a reasonable price. I go here regularly. It is Good for gluten intolerance and dairy intolerances with cakes and lunch time optionsdietry requirements. The Coffee house is Dog friendly and the staff and volunteers make both dogs and people welcome. Meet lots of lovely people if you are on your own there is usually another customer around to have an interesting conversation with. The manager has a nice balance of being both relaxed, and friendly at the same time.

Friendly community run coffee and tea shop. Coffee was good from a proper machine. Cakes look great and are remarkably good value. Good wifi which as well as poor phone reception in the village

Just had the most delicious quiche ever! My wife had the tomato soup which was wholesome and tasty too. £12.95 total so great value too. Highly recommended cafe and all sorts of lovely eco-friendly things in the shop too.

What a gem of a stopover!!! Plenty of space outdoors for kids and dog, sublime coffee and an amazing selection of good things at the shop, all manned by lovely, lovely people.

What a fabulous hidden gem! Mushroom and celariac soup was divine. Bakery smells fill the air. A wonderful community which is very obviously doing great things. Well done.

First visit to Shappen Cafe after a recommendation from a friend. Pleasant surroundings. Busy inside so had to sit outside under electric heaters. Car park to rear, with gate access to rear of cafe.

Service with a smile, nothing is too much trouble. Food is tasty and cooked well. Presentation is perfect and fills the spot. Good value for money and so close to the A31 as an easy stop for something to eat and drink… so much better than the usual A31 haunts

Lovely little cafe and pretty much spot on in every way. Food was really nice, it was good value, service was friendly and helpful. Food also came pretty quickly. There was enough outside seating for mucky cyclists like us to sit outside and inside looked good too. The building itself is a really nice wooden structure, which adds to the aesthetic. Great little place and definitely worth a return visit.

My first time visiting here and I have been to Burley more times than I can remember. Well we will certainly be back! The food was delicious. I had a traditional cream tea and the other half had a Cheeseburger. Both were incredible. The food was fresh and scrumptious. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant is rustic and very quaint. We highly recommend. They also had a bench with a memorial plaque for Buster Merryfield.

A really nice and homey tea room in Burley in the New Forest. Traditional English menu with a few extras. Breakfast is served until 11am and cooked lunch starts at 12 noon. Light bites of sandwiches, baguettes, cakes and scones are available all day. We arrived midday so we had lunch there. The farmhouse grills was great and so did the pie of the day and the fish and chips. After the meal, we had a walk to inspect the village and walked to Burley manor before returning to the tearoom for their cake and afternoon tea. There are indoors and outside seating. Once seated, the staff will come to your table to take your food and drinks order. To pay, you will need to remember your table number and make your contactless card payment at the till. Plenty of car parking spaces on site for the tearooms customers. If you intend to have a walk after your meal, tell the staff so that they know when you are coming back.

I visited here for breakfast and I treated myself to The Big Burley Full English. The food was absolutely amazing, tasty, and generous. The service was fantastic and very welcoming. After visiting the other near by café, this one wins all the way!

Stopped for a coffee and a snack. Chose the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. The pancakes are made to order. Delicious.. Hubby had a bacon barm which he said he enjoyed. Coffee was also good. A nice little visit. Prices very reasonable. Worth a visit.

Great place to stop off at, we had a great walk along the beach with our dogs then stopped off for some food. Quick service and lovely food, will be dropping by again. Amazing location on a lovely sunny late October day.

We visited here today for lunch and it was so lovely. We used to have a caravan on a site close by and haven’t been back for serval years. Last time we were here it was an order at the bar, crab sandwich situation. It’s now a table service eating spot with super friendly and helpful staff with the perfect food for a beach walk pit stop. The interior is warm, pretty and comfortable and possibly the best loos around! My fussy eater 10 year old was in heaven with his bacon bap , so much bacon! and the bucket of chips is a perfect share for 4. Can’t wait to visit again to try some of the bigger dishes. It’s also dog friendly , which was a great bonus. Well done everyone in making our visit a great time .

I can’t praise Ringwood Boston Tea Party enough. They made a magnificent job of my beautiful daughter in law’s baby shower. Delicious food and nothing was too much trouble for the attentive staff. Thank you one and all.

Tried the new Chorizo Hash, perfectly filling and nutritious and delicious. Café Latte with oat milk is refreshing as always. Bar team are so smiley.

Lovely brunch. Sweetcorn hash was a really delicious combo of flavours. Pancakes were less impressive but staff couldn’t be more apologetic and did all they could to rectify the situation. Will definitely be back.

A really lovely cafe - super atmosphere and seating areas. The staff were very welcoming, courteous, and helpful. Our drinks of hot chocolates, coffees and cakes were delicious. We met friends here and were delighted with their recommendation to meet here. We will definitely return when we next visit family in the area. A highly recommended place to visit. Thank you!
