A nostalgic Public House with a modern outlook,retain architecture of the passed.wonderful friendly ambience surroundings and clean .Mine host Nigel,Joy,and Lucy exceptional and made you welcome.Excellent beers and largers at a inexpensive price.Worth a visit and more, we did and travelled from Somerset. Enjoyable evenings .5 Starr plus rating
Joy and Nigel's food is to die for. How lucky I am to have such a lovely pub and small restaurant so close to home. The homemade chips rank as among the best I've ever experienced – actually, they are the best. The burger patties are wonderful and are obviously also homemade – everything is.
If you are planning to stop for food at a busy period on the weekends, I would strongly advise calling ahead to avoid disappointment as the building is fairly compact and when busy can fill extremely quickly.
