Top Cafes in Barton upon irwell, Greater manchester

Came for a breakfast with the girls a few weeks ago and thought the place was absolutely beautiful! Service was pretty quick and we got seated in a comfy booth right by the fireplace. I got the eggs benedict with mushrooms (and added a hash brown) all of which was very flavourful. I will say that my eggs were slightly overdone - I prefer a runny yolk when it comes to a poached egg but I suppose that’s purely preference! Would definitely come back, I’m interested to try the dinner menu now too because it looked great 🥰

We had such a lovely welcoming experience at The Barn. There was 20 of us celebrating for our daughter’s first birthday. All orders were pre done for a seamless meal. The beef was definitely a firm favourite with our party guests. the bonus of free wine with a mean in January was very welcomed too. Lovely having the floor to ourselves and very accommodating for such a big party. Thanks again, will definitely be back.

The food and services were great. I checked if it is dog-allowed but turns out not inside the restaurant. There is a small corner inside the farm shop but it was so cold. And it is confusing that it says dogs are not allowed in the farm shop.

We visited here for the second time at the weekend. We previously had breakfast which was amazing and this time we had a main meal and desert each. All of the food is absolutely delicious and very good quality. I am gluten free and found they had a good variety of dishes available. The roast chicken was so tasty and you could tell the vegetables were locally grown. My husband had the steak and Ale pie and really enjoyed it. The desserts were amazing! I also had an oat milk cappuccino that was perfect!
You can tell they have talented chefs. The service was also really good and we really liked the decoration of the barn and the general ambience.

We will definitely be returning again soon to try out the roast dinner! We’ve been struggling to find somewhere decent to eat nearby for a long time and this place really does deliver. We chatted to the owner while we were there who was working extremely hard and you could tell they had a strong passion for the business. We have a café ourselves so we understand the difficulties that others can face in this sort of business. However, the standard here of everything is excellent and you can tell the owners really care about their staff and the business. Thank you again for our visit. We will be back soon!
