I have had the best sandwich I have ever had at this place! Gives a generous amount of salad on it with perfectly crisped bread. N this place has never failed to impress! Cheap prices for what you get as that sandwich was under £5.

I think I’ve just had one of THE best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had from here. Absolutely splendid. Mouth watering ingredients and made with precision and care. Egg, perfectly done and the sausage patty and bacon were delightful! The fact that I had the option of sourdough bread too was a real bonus. All in all, the perfect breakfast sandwich! Yum yum! Thank youuuuu!

I’ve always wanted to try this café because of the great reviews, and it did not disappoint! The café is in a beautiful park setting, and the food and drinks are fantastic. The staff are incredibly kind, they take the time to chat with customers, especially local elderly visitors who come alone, which is so thoughtful, especially in todays world where everything is so fast. The sandwiches are delicious, the soups are amazing, and the drinks are excellent. My sister, niece, and I keep coming back because everything is just so good! We also love the homemade cakes. But more than the food it's the kind staff. Make sure you visit!

Spoilt for choice at Redwood cafe. Discovered Leo also makes great soups, as well as everything. Today was Mexican pinto bean. Perfect with some of his home made sourdough bread on the side. Perfection! Very rare to get this level of attention to detail and very nice staff too.

I have, mostly, my english breakfast there for over 25 years! Cafe is family run and they do remember most of their customers. Take me, he knows I like my toast, white & lightly toasted, eggs sunny side up, tea is light etc. Better still is that you don't see a layer of oil in the plate when all the food is fried, except the bake beans. 🤣. Is it worth the money? Personally, it is a YES! Oh, they do more than just breakfast. Bon appetit when you decide to visit! Just don't be one of those customers who are very 'picky' over very small things. Place is clean as are the tables and seats. Oh, I do at times bring my dirty plate and cup when I go to pay, not at busy times as I will be a hindrance!.

Great welcoming no nonsense cafe. Very professional staff. Reasonably priced and perfect for seeking refuge from the cold before we attended a funeral round the corner. Thank you!

Easily best greasy spoon (cafe) in London. Fry up's are proper tasty and quality ingredients. The chips are hand cut using Cypriot potatoes best bar none.

Amazing service - ordered on Uber eats -such a speedy delivery and absolutely delicious food, even including free sauces - I loved the environmentally friendly packaging n wooden utensils , fast food with no guilt! This is an awesome 🤩 little gem in Whetstone - Thankyou and well done all 👍🏻

Located just outside Totteridge and Whetstone station this little cafe is situated in a fantastic place to grab a cuppa before jumping on the tube or getting the various busses that pass by. The staff that work there are always polite and efficient and make a fantastic cup of tea.

On our way to the park we always stop for a coffee and Ice cream (weather permitted). The man that works there is super nice, welcoming always, happy to take my coffee from that little shop.Coffee is nice ,ice cream is great, definitely recommend :) . We can't wait to get sunny and visit this little coffee shop again, like every year.

I have been going to Em's for years as it is near to where I live, and having tried all the local competition around Whetstone, I can honestly say Em's is number one. The menu is versatile and offers a wide array of breakfast, brunch and lunch options - hot and cold. I am partial to the American pancakes which are light, fluffy and cooked to perfection - which is difficult to achieve (trust me I've tried!). The English breakfast which also has a vegetarian option also offers a generous portion as does the organic smoothie bowl. The lattes are also one of the main reasons I love Em's which are thick, creamy and rich. The best thing about Em's is that it is a family run cafe, and the customers are treated as such. It is a fixture in the local community with the same faces coming and going. Shout out to Serge who always looks after us and treats us so well. The place is always full which is testament to its popularity. I'd recommend to anyone passing through the area.

Enjoyed a very nice brunch at Em's. The freshly squeezed orange juice is generous. Some of our party had the big breakfast - a full plate of cooked breakfast. I had Em's special, an onion, tomato, mushroom, lamb mince, spinach and poached egg dish. It was delicious and very filling. Staff were friendly and efficient, but didn't hurry us to leave as soon as we'd finished.

The weather conditions made it challenging to keep the door open, resulting in unpleasant odours from outdoor smokers affecting nearby customers. It would be appreciated if the establishment could consider closing the door to alleviate this issue. Additionally, the quality of the food was not up to par. The shakshuka and omelette lacked flavour and seemed hastily prepared. The dishes quickly got cold due to the open door. The juice portion size was appropriate for the price. While the decor was aesthetically pleasing, the overall ambience lacked a cosy feel. Personally, I find this establishment more enjoyable during the winter season when the doors are closed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. During the summer months, it would be advisable to keep the doors partially closed to minimise the impact of secondhand smoke and traffic noise from the adjacent main road. The tables near the coffee machine should be placed further away, or the staff should be more cautious when handling dishes to reduce noise. The service provided was excellent.

Brilliant food - from the big breakfast to the smoothie bowls, all is delicious. Great drinks too - tea, coffee, smoothies! Amazing staff and ambience, highly recommend
