Was so excited when this opened up! And although over the months the counters have shrunk, the quality and deliciousness of the baked goods have not! Always soft, fresh, and tasty with so many flavours to choose from. From savoury to sweet, with classics and twists, you'll find something to go with your bubble tea. Well worth the trip! You made it this far. Just before closing, buns are half-price. And don't make me regret sharing, but this is also one of the only good things on TGTG in Colindale.

Absolutely loved this Asian Inspired Halal Bakery. They have got so many delicious variety of treats from savoury to sweet. Highly recommend trying the tiramisu croissant, chicken floss bun, cinnamon roll, chocolate mousse and the bubble tea.

Finally got to try The Whale Bakery, which is legendary! I must say, it was absolutely stunning~ I chose 5 types of bread, 2 cakes, and 3 bubble teas to take to my friend's house for a shared treat (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ They were all delicious! 🥖 Bread: ⭐️ Goose Fat Scallion Croissant The perfect combination of savory and sweet, who would have thought! This one is incredibly fragrant. I couldn't resist and ended up eating half of it on the way to my friend's place. The scallions add a rich flavor, and the slight sweetness of the goose fat bursts through the layers. It's definitely an item worth buying again and again. 🍈 Melon Bread It's basically called Melonpan in Japanese (メロンパン), which means "melon bread." It doesn't contain actual melon inside; it's named so because of its appearance resembling a melon. A distinctive feature of Melon Bread is covering the raw dough with a layer of cookie dough before baking. 🍍 Pineapple Bread Combining the Hong Kong-style pineapple bun with butter creates this Pineapple Oil bun. There's no pineapple inside; instead, it's a "bread with a pineapple-like crust." It also comes with a milk cap on top~ I recommend getting it with 30% sugar levels. 🐳 Passion fruit tea A fragrant passion fruit tea with nourishing peach gum; this one is quite filling, so I suggest having it after a meal. 🍑 Cheesy Peachy Loaded with lots of peach chunks and topped with a slightly salty and dense cheese milk cap. After sipping the milk tea, I recommend using a spoon to scrape off the milk cap at the bottom of the cup.
