Mowchi Mile End

Mowchi Cafe has been my go-to cafe and they've introduced a loyalty card. The interior is nice and gives aesthetic vibes. They do nice sandwiches and bao buns. Prices are good value for money and customer service is always friendly. Recommend for a visit with friends or family, or even for your regular coffee stop.

The bao buns here are delicious, I'll be thinking about that Chicken Katsu one a lot. The beef one is delicious too. We have the Tikka Sando too, it was pretty tasty and filling. The chips that came with it were a good portion with lots of sauce. We also got plain chips which were tasty on their own too. The vanilla bubble tea tasted like ice cream and my niece enjoyed the signature brown sugar. The only thing was that tapioca was pretty hard but the drinks themselves were tasty. The interior is really pretty and the atmosphere is nice. I could definitely see myself going in there to get work done and enjoy some more bao buns with friends. The staff were super nice and lovely, I'd definitely recommend this spot for a quick bite and chill drinks with friends. Please try the Katsu bao bun and thank me later :)

Me and my sister-in-law decided to pop in since it's been viral on tiktok. Got to say thiugh they did take their time with order. Got 2 drinks and the tiger teriyaki bao bun to share. I got the creme brulle latte, which I loved! My sis got the matcha bubble tea, which was less than average tbh. My 3 Yr old nephew was also with as and he obviously tried our drinks and he loved mine and kept it for himself lol đ! The bao buns were delicious but very expensive imo. It was 9.70, which I don't think I'd spend on it anytime soon.

Let's just start with the drinks first - they have some solid bubble teas but their signature selection has a Spanish and pistachio latte. Course I had to try these. Spanish latte was decent but the pistachio was best, because they've cleverly fused it with a Spanish latte flavour. Really liked this. As for food the Sandos were great. Around ÂŁ9 gives you a sando and chips which is filling and tasty. Both the chicken and pulled beef were equally good. The bread itself could be toasted slightly more but that's my only criticism. Plenty of meat inside and flavourful. My favorite though has gotta be the bao buns. Take a bite and after the soft buns it's crunchy chicken with a teriyaki kick. Really good. This is a great concept cos not many coffee spots do great food and not many good food spots do great coffee. Can imagine this being even more popular in central London.

The Coborn
8 Coborn Rd, Bow, London E3 2DA, UK | Pub P: 020 8980 3793
Rating: 4.4 (1128) Price Level:
Had a fab office Xmas do at The Coborn. The food was very tasty, with lots of menu choices (including vegetarian), the staff were super friendly - it has that wonderful neighbourhood vibe about it. We used The Snug, which was beautifully decorated and gave us easy access to their well stocked bar (and they make a great margarita!).

It was an anniversary dinner for me and my partner, and we had a lovely time! The food was excellent and quick, the staff were lovely and friendly (even added a couple candles to our puddings after we mentioned our anniversary). When booking the table, we asked for a quiet table and spot, and that was exactly what we got. We asked for a couple of cocktails that they didn't quite have the ingredients for, so they made some ad-hoc for us with what they had and thought was best, which made for a great couple of drinks!

The atmosphere and design of the place are fantastic! Our food took a little while to arrive, but we weren't in a rush. It was clear that the food was delivered with love. A big thank you to Juliet and the team for being so accommodating! We appreciated it!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for a brilliant meal we had a couple of weeks ago. We were a group of four friends having an early Christmas roast dinner. It was the best service I have had all year. We were served by three different ladies who were just so brilliant, warm and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble - including dog treats for the spaniel! We all said afterwards it was the best service weâd had in a long time. Including, in comparison, to some very âfancyâ places. The food was superb. Perfect proper pub food! The whole package was spot on and there was nothing any of us could fault. In fact, I think it outshines a lot of other pubs in London that pride themselves on being really upmarket (aka overpriced!). The staff really made the whole experience. Youngâs are very lucky to have them.

Rating: 4.2 (123) Price Level:
I really like the food here. The price is good. I always get the Cajun chicken panini so have to try something else next time. Good tasty choices. And the can Oli is cheaper here than in other shops.

âI enjoyed the Kadak Chai, which was rich and flavorful. The cannolis were fresh and perfectly sweet, and the coffee had a smooth and creamy texture. Overall, the experience was delightful, with a cozy ambiance and excellent treats!â

I love their Krak tea and chicken roll. They have a lot of other things and it is very good spot
Rating: 5 / 5
I have been here for coffee numerous times and had a snack but had never actually sat in for some food. Quick and efficient service and good coffee. I usually grab my coffee from larger chain stores which are a few steps away but after trying this independent small business, Iâve been convinced to carry on supporting local businesses, plus the coffees cheaper too! Looking forward to trying lots more from here.

Rusty Bike serves authentic and flavorful Thai dishes in a relaxed setting. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. A great spot for a casual meal with friends or family or just for drinks.

Had a lot of Thai food in my life and this is really some of the best! The red curry is delicious and deep in flavour without too much spice so I could really enjoy it. Generous portions for the price. I have had the food eat in and also delivered and both times has been delicious hot food. Great quality and flavour have recommended to all my friends
Rating: 5 / 5
Delicious Thai food! I really enjoy squid and massaman curry especially. I like the vibe and definitely will come back
Rating: 5 / 5
Rusty Bike Restaurant on Mile End Road provides a warm and casual dining experience with a cozy atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, making it a comfortable spot for a meal. I tried their Pad Thai, and it was well-executed. The noodles were cooked just rightâsoft yet with a bit of chew. The dish had a nice balance of flavors, with a hint of sweetness and savory notes that were enhanced by a squeeze of lime. The chicken pieces were tender and complemented the noodles well, along with fresh bean sprouts and crunchy vegetables, adding texture to each bite. While the Pad Thai was enjoyable, it could benefit from a bit more spice or tang to elevate the flavors further. Overall, Rusty Bike offers a good Pad Thai and a pleasant dining experience, making it worth a visit if you're in the area.

Mackbear Coffee Co. UK
132 Mile End Rd, Stepney Green, London E1 4GL, UK | Coffee Shop P: 020 7265 8208
Rating: 4.3 (354) Price Level:
Amazing coffee shop. Beautiful coffee, I had a cappuccino which came with a perfect creamy froth. The pastries are delicious with the Almond croissant having a flacky pastry on the outside, doughy centre with a generous serving of Almond paste as a filling. The pistachio and caramel cronought was slight too dense for me, but the flavours were well balanced and hit beautifully. The aesthetics of the location was adventurous and outdoorsy, just what I need being in the centre of a city, honestly loved their message of 'staying wild' This is a gem of the city worth finding.
Rating: 5 / 5
Wide selection of great coffees. This place is near my work, I come here often and try new coffee every time, never been disappointed. They have a great seating place which you can use as your work stations while taking a coffee and a snack. Highly recommend.

Great place to eat breakfast or lunch. Suitable for children. Large size portions, no gimmicks. Love the mug of tea, a good coffee mocha or americano, lovely hot chocolate. Everything is halal, staff are lovely and friendly.

Love this place, great as always and tasty food all the time! My favorite is the big breakfast. Definitely recommend!!
Rating: 5 / 5
I came here the other day for a full halal breakfast. Itâs located on the main road, not far from Mile End station, so it canât be missed. Everything was lovely, and the portion was very generous too. I was slightly disappointed with them not being able to serve a mojito for me as they didnât have all the ingredients at the time. But I settled for the mocha, which tasted too much like coffee. Apart from that, everything was great!
Rating: 5 / 5
Loved this place. The portions are extra large. 10/10 for value for money. Whether you select breakfast or lunch you will not be disappointed. This is my third visit with the family and each visit was on point. Excellent customer service, friendly and welcoming. I don't hesitate to visit this.

Probably the best Costa I have visited. The lady that served me was welcoming, friendly and catty. Overall a very good experience.

Having a coffee shop on my way to university was such a bonus especially for 9am classes. I was able to order from my phone with the app and it was ready to collect from the shop. Loved that app service! The only reason I give it 4 is because of the cleanliness of the bathroom and the delay in queues due to slow customer service but other than that it's a nice warm place to sit and relax.
Rating: 5 / 5
The customer services are very nice serving me when I asked about a cake. I asked them it contains cinnamon or not because I donât like the taste but i appreciated them when they checked the ingredients properly and asked me about the allergy. Also, the vibe is nice to study and enjoyable!!

During my recent visit to the Costa Coffee branch near Mile End, I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I ordered a blueberry muffin and a drink on the app, and was impressed by how quickly the drink was made. There is a good number of seats here and the store was tidy.

Genuinely my favourite Starbucks. I go to Mile End Starbucks 3/4 days of the week around 7am. Each of the staff are so lovely and smiley. There is a gentleman, I believe his name is Kaz who always greets me with a warm welcome and has my order waiting. He also kindly uses a delivery lid on my cup as he knows I am walking to work. I really enjoy our morning hellos.
Rating: 5 / 5
Honestly the best overall Starbucks, the quality and taste is so good your drink is perfected every time by the friendliest baristas ever !!! Darren will guarantee to make you smile! All of the baristas are amazing and the quality of the drinks never goes down when it's busy. This is a great spot to go to when you are in need of pleasant break or energy for work.

Today I visited the branch at 389 Mile End Rd, London, and was served by Darren. Darren was fantastic, really welcoming and went out of his way to help me. He was very kind and I wish Starbucks employed more staff like him as he made my experience visiting this particular Starbucks better than at any other Starbucks. He is a real credit to Starbucks! The coffee and food was delicious and the atmosphere at this Starbucks seemed relaxed with quiet background music. Highly recommend this branch of Starbucks and I will be back soon.
Rating: 5 / 5
Just popped in to get a cup of hot Americano. The staff Darren is really nice and helped me a lot. You know itâs a challenge for us foreigners to calculate the coins. But dear Darren helped me do that and made me a good Americano as well! Thanks for Darren again! Strongly recommend this Starbucks!

On the app, I ordered the new iced strawberry matcha tea latte. The staff were friendly and made my drink quickly. The branch is conveniently located near the tube station and has free WiFi, as well has ample seating and a nice environment.
