I really liked the food here and would definitely come back. We spent 28 each including drinks for starters and mains. I think that is good value for money. Their starters are billed as tapas style I.e. small plates to share and the price is accordingly less compared to a normal Indian starter at other Indian restaurants. I liked this approach as it meant we could order more and we had enough space to order mains which we normally don't. My favourite was the bang bang brocoli and the chilli paneer from the starter. From the mains I really liked their daal bukhari or black daal, vegetable fried rice, stuffed kulcha and garlic naan. The service was good although we went for an early dinner and there was hardly anyone there. The toilets are downstairs which will make it difficult for those with mobility restrictions. You should give the place a try!

The service was equally impressive—attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions. The restaurant’s cozy interior, with its modern decor and relaxed vibe, made it a great spot for both a casual meal or a special evening out. Overall, Bambi in Stanmore is a hidden gem that offers delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It's a fantastic spot whether you're a local or just visiting the area. Highly recommended!
