We went without a reservation and were fortunate to get a table. To avoid disappointment, we recommend making a reservation, as the place was packed when we left. The experience was generally good, though the prices were on the higher side. A two-course meal costs £30 and up in Zone 2, and the portion is rather small.
The best restaurant in West Hampstead. Carefully sourced menu, food and service is always good and it has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Good for a brunch or lunch date or cocktails and dinner. Highly recommend.
We live just down the road from this restaurant but only recently gave it a try. It’s such a charming little café with lovely old-world decor. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, and the food was just as good. The staff are very friendly, though the service can be a tad slow. That said, we didn’t mind at all since we were just enjoying a lazy weekend brunch. The place has a really cosy, homely vibe. It does get quite busy, so I’d definitely recommend calling ahead to book a table.
My partner and I love The Wet Fish Café! We come here regularly as we live just down the road. The vibes are immaculate, food fresh, tasty and unique, and the service is always friendly.
