Went here for breakfast my first day in London and I could not have made a better decision. We also went back the next morning. The place looks so cute and it feels homely inside. Everyone inside was kind as ever, both staff and other patrons. The food was also great! As my friend said: "If I lived in London, I'd go here every morning for breakfast."

been a few times, the servers are always lovely and friendly! Their drinks aren’t the best, the lack of plant based milks and the coffee doesn’t always taste great however the bakery is amazing!

We had flat white, mocha, chocolate cake and croissant. Coffee was really good, the food was average and expensive for what it is. Staff were nice and friendly

Definitely the best bakery in the area. There’s no competition even at West Hampstead. The sausage roll and croissant were good - the coffee was actually pretty good too.

I decided to pop into Hart & Lova on the way back from my early-morning run because it gets great reviews and I like to buy from independent establishments. Even early there was a good queue out of the door and I can see why as their display is packed full of tempting goodies. I may well have over-ordered, out of hunger, but my haul was pretty great with both pastries and savouries passing into my eager hands. At home I eagerly consumed these delights but my wife came up with an odd complaint: she thought that the pastries were doing too much and that she'd like something simpler! It's a fair point as each one of them packed quite a punch and no doubt delivered a substantial fraction of my daily calorie allowance. And yes they were all pretty rich on the palette. But still I enjoyed them and frankly if you fancy a treat then you won't go far wrong with Hart & Lova.
