âI needed a quiet place to carry out my admin work and I came across this small cafe. To be honest i was surprised to see how much food and snacks they have to offer. I went in for a heated samosa, deshi style tea & a baklava. It was superb especially the tea! I forgot the individuals name that served me but he was so kind and made me feel very welcome. Id come again thank you guys.â

âEverything about this place is SUPERB. Food is phenomenal, the staff are extremely friendly and this is testament to how busy it is even in the middle of the week - you may even spot the odd celebrity in there, so be sure to get there early to be guaranteed a table, as it is a small venue. They always go the extra mile for you and are committed to making you a happy customer. 100% recommend - I had the escalope and chips, with the Nutella roly poly and custard for dessert. You will not regret it, trust me. Well done Anna, Nevio, Tony and the rest of the team for keeping up the family tradition of running a fantastic business!â

âBanger of a full English in a local cafe. This is a no-frills place that does breakfast right. The guys were quick on service, with good chat, and brought out good food. Good toast with egg, tasty beans and mushrooms, and nice slices of bacon. The portion size was perfect for a hungry guy and enough to get me going for the rest of the day. Great prices, too, which will make me come around more often, too.â

âWhen London becomes too much and simplicity is all you seek, Mandala CafĂ© delivers in all the ways. This is a lovely air-conditioned space in a relaxed part of East London. Here you'll mostly find patrons on their laptops or immersed in a good book - it's a good quiet space away from the traffic of Roman Road. They do tea, coffee and various soft drinks. The food menu is compact but includes everything you see on the counter. Everything is vegan which makes life considerably easier for a plant-based visitor. I ordered a slice of tofu quiche which arrived warm, accompanied by fresh green salad. It was a tasty meal and I'd be back for more. I complemented it with a Karma Cola, which seems to have disappeared from the shops, but thankfully is available here. Service is quick and the prices are okay. Everything is neat and clean and I was happy to be supporting an independent establishment. I'll likely be back to sample their breakfast items. Overall, recommended.â

âMy friend George took me there for breakfast and i was really amazed.. everything is perfect from food, drinks and atmosphere. Iâve ordered scrambled eggs on avocado toast and it came like 5 star hotel breakfast. Well defined and presented. The latte was lovely too.. Many people reading books which the place is chilled. I highly recommend it and i will definitely go back â€ïžâ
