I have been going to Cara for over 4 years now. She has a wonderful salon with really friendly staff. Cara is an excellent hairdresser who listens to you, makes suggestions and is totally committed to giving you the perfect haircut. I trust Cara implicitly with my cuts and colour. Just to add I am hard of hearing and Cara is so considerate and accommodating to my needs. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you Cara xx

Book yourself in! I’ve been coming here for a few years now, they are fabulous! I tend to see Cara however the other girls are fab! All very attentive. Your hair health is a priority here, you won’t get colour if your hair will suffer! Always a fab service. Truly the best around. If you desire healthy hair that feels and looks 100%. These are your people. Truly 1 in a million! X

I recently had my hair done (after many years of neglect) at this salon. Prior to Covid I often went to different hairdressers as none of them seemed to click, and I am delighted to say that Cara Gibbs Hairdressing, namely Lois, gave me such a positive experience that I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. From the patch test/hair consultation to the dying cutting and styling there is nothing I could fault. She was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what she was doing (at the start I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted but her advice was invaluable!). Everyone else in the salon was courteous and routinely asked if I needed a drink etc. As for my hair, it is the best it has looked in a long time, the colour is exactly what I asked for, and seeing as I wanted a deep red with purple undertones you can only imagine the amount of skill it took to get bob on- especially seeing as she had to match natural brown roots to box dye lengths! I didn’t want to lose any length but the trim and layers Lois did not only retained the hair I had but made it feel incredibly healthy. Additionally, having natural curls I often struggle choosing a cut as when it dries naturally it tends to have a kind of its own, I washed my hair for the first time since the appointment this morning and the layers have added a great bounce and body to my curls which certainly wasn’t there before. Personally, Lois was lovely to talk to and didn’t force conversation in the natural lulls which I appreciated, she was also just genuinely a nice person. I couldn’t recommend her services alongside the salon more to anyone, especially if you don’t frequent salons. Truly a delightful self care treat experience!

Everyone is so friendly and helpful, especially when you’re unsure what treatment to go for! I come away glowing with confidence every single time.
