Meg at Solstice Hair Studio is the most talented, passionate and creative hairdresser I have ever met. She insists on working with “purpose”, and as such, everything she does is done with a lot of care. She listened to my requests with a lot of attention and my hair has never been so beautiful. The design of the salon has been thought out to appeal to all senses - as an autistic person, I often find hair salons to be sensorily overwhelming, but I left Solstice feeling more relaxed than ever!

I've been having my hair expertly cut and coloured by Meg for years. I'm proud to share her details and my experience with her to others who are looking for an empathetic and caring hair stylist. I certainly boast that my hair stylist is currently winning awards and working shoots/shows! I feel like the visions I have for my hair, even if it's sometimes a bit cloudy, are always listened to and I come away feeling relaxed and like myself again. Kelly is fab, warm and is always lovely to speak to. Won't go anywhere else now! Solstice is a lovely, clean and welcoming studio. The little things such as a nice cuppa are a lovely addition, and I can't recommend enough!

Meg and Kel are fantastic when it come to colouring hair and ensuring that you only get the best for your hair. Megs warm personality makes you feel at ease and adds to a wonderful experience. On top of that you get someone with a real passion and professionalism for cutting and styling hair. The only person I trust to do my hair!

I’ve been visiting the salon for a while now and cannot recommend Meg and Kelly enough. You get the city salon experience but close to home, it’s always so welcoming.
