Booked my daughter's first haircut with Kayleigh. My daughter is 5, was very anxious and has very curly hair. The initial phone call put me completely at ease, where Kayleigh told me she would take the appt because she knew how to cut curly hair (she did) and asked my daughter to bring in something she loved as a conversation starter. When we got there today, Kayleigh sprung into action, quickly forming a bond with her. She got a hairdressing doll out so E could practice brushing and cutting, showed her the tools and talked her through the process. By the time she got to the actual haircut, my daughter was completely in on the experience. We got some curls to take home (her baby hair!) as well. The cut itself was great and her hair looks so much healthier now but, honestly, that was the least interesting part of the experience. My daughter went from scared and trying to avoid going to the appt itself to asking if we could have another haircut tomorrow. 10/10 and we will be coming back for sure. Thank you!

I absolutely love going to Melissa Jane’s, I’ve been going since I was 10 years ago. Everyone there is so friendly and kind, it’s like one big family. Kayleigh is amazing at what she does, if I turn around and say I want a completely different look, she’s already 20 steps in front of me. She loves a gossip, it’s like catching up with an old friend every time and getting incredible hair out of it in the process, I love you all xx

Had my hair done by Kayleigh today and I am in LOVE!! Absolutely amazing from start to finish, my results were incredible. I was offered drinks, felt really comfortable and was given aftercare too. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you x

Melissa Jane bury i would highly recommend Sophie does my hair from extensions and blow dries and colour friendly always wants the best for her clients. All the girls are friendly welcoming and chloe is very highly recommended too
