This was recommended by a friend. I was sceptical about going to a hairdressers rather than a barbers. They listened to me as I said what I wanted doing with my hair and they met all requirements whilst being friendly and sound people. Very happy.

Excellent service, friendly atmosphere with light hearted banter. 1st class haircut. Plenty of local on street parking. Felt covid safe, all hairdressers in PPE etc.

It’s the only place to get your hair cut. Mooresy is a bloody legend and is the stylist of the year. If you want a story ask him what he did 1990- 95 honestly it’s a great haircut but the customer service knocks it out of the park. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've been coming to Saks Ashton since I was a child and cannot fault the staff or the salon. I now enjoy bringing my own children for a treat at the hairdressers! My hair always feels and looks amazing after a visit and I always feel pampered. Pete, Dina and the team do such a fantastic job, I can't recommend this salon enough! Worth every penny! X

Visited today for my first appointment with Pete for a cut and blow and I’ve booked to return. Pete is a highly experienced stylist, took time to consult, then got to work. From visiting with dreadful hair, I now have a beautiful style for my 18th birthday holiday and feel elegant. Had fun with Pete’s sense of humour too. Highly recommend Pete at Saks Ashton. Loved it!! As a person who has social anxiety, Bruce made me feel welcome. I had no idea what I wanted to get done. We talked and he gave me the best haircut! I'm definitely coming back. Highly recommended.

Had a re-style this morning at L'Etoile and I'm so pleased with the result! Bruce was easy to talk to, he really listened and my new hairstyle is better than I anticipated. Took my 9 year old daughter today for a cut & style. Not only was it the best cut she’s had but Bruce was amazing with her. He’s a natural with children and made it fun & engaging. Lovely cut / restyle and blow dry. Recommended.

I booked in after being 4 months postpartum. Feeling sad at the hair loss and just not very good about myself. Bruce was lovely :) showed him what I wanted. He told me what was doable what wasn't. And then worked his magic :) I suffer with bad anxiety after so many hairdressers have botched my cut but oh my days :) has to be the best cut I've ever had! And the colour I wanted we got very close! It's a lovely little salon and Bruce is truly amazing at his job. Found my new hairdresser, left feeling so much better about my appearance too :) thankyou Bruce 💖

Well what can I say bloody amazing I had my hair done by a mobile hairdresser paid over 200 pound for them to leave my hair a mess I came to Jodie and Beckie who fixed my hair without a problem I mean it was a miracle. I won't be ever going to a different salon again amazing customer service both are so friendly and welcoming and give you the best advice for hair care THANK YOU GIRLS FOR MAKING ME LOVE MY HAIR AGAIN !!!! Myself and my daughter came for a haircut this morning and after requesting "mermaid hair" that's exactly what she got! Got her chosen stylist and everyone was friendly and professional would definitely recommend. We then returned a short while later for my daughter to get her ears pierced. They talked her through every step and reassured her throughout.

As a massive introvert I’m always amazed at how Joanne manages to eek more than one sentence out of me whilst in the chair. She is a conversational wizard who skilfully avoids all the usual conversational small-talk topics and fills my awkward silences, without making me feel like I want to stab myself in the eye with the scissors she’s using. And always an excellent haircut of course!!

I went here today for an appointment with Hope after getting in touch through Facebook, she answered me within half an hour and I got booked in 2 days later .Having explained what the problem was Hope clearly explained what treatment I could have and put me at ease .I haven't been to a hairdressers for over 4 years due to a bad experience. My hair was dull ,thick very brittle and had no style at all however after just over an hour and half I have left feeling like a new woman, my hair is level , styled and feels great .My family said I looked amazing which has given me a boost in confidence. I have now booked to have the 6 months treatment with Hope again and will keep going to her in the future .I cannot recommend her enough.

I had my hair done today by Hope, what a lovely lady she is and what a great job she’s done on my hair. I’ve been looking for a new hairdresser for a while and she made me so at ease, so friendly and easy to talk to. The haircut she’s done on my hair is just what I wanted and more! She’s took all the weight out and cut exactly how much I wanted off. What a great girl and hairdresser. Lovely atmosphere in this salon too. Overall great experience, I’ll be back! X

My first visit to this salon today. I had a cut and colour with Nicola. I loved the Salon, as a migraine sufferer, the lights were not too bright, like many other places. I also love my hair!! The colour was just what I wanted and Nicola took such care the get the cut just right. Unlike many other places I have been to, she also styled my hair really well. I have already booked my next 2 appointments.

Nicola helped me out at short notice on a Saturday since she had a cancellation. I needed a wash and an updo since I've an injury which means I can't do my own hair. She was very kind and professional and did a lovely job with my hair. The salon was easy to find, relaxing atmosphere and tidy. The lady before me looked fantastic with fresh highlights. Staff were welcoming and Friendly and immediately offered a choice of refreshments. The establishment is modern with mood LED lighting and gives a fresh feel. Staff were not robotic and helped with ideas, quite a rarity as they were not ideas which cost more. Good to go somewhere you can trust. An elderly lady who seemed to be a regular came in and the staff showed genuine empathy as she hadn’t been well. It seems a good business which has two level of stylists which means two price tiers - but you have a choice. Only downfalls i found is finding a parking space. 🚗 The 3G is very patchy and slow, but not the salons fault.

Stephanie is a great caring person who really takes care of my skin! Ava Beauties relaxing space and caring attitude keep me coming back every weekThe products she uses are wonderful too! This week I had an LED facial, alongside my RF tummy and both were fabulous, I'm glowing from ear to ear! Stephanies knowledge and experience as a trained professional, application and attention to detail can never be underestimated , and all this without spending a fortune! Being a frequent visitor to Ava Beauty, I am amazed at the amount of compliments I have received! Their treatments are like no other, cleansing, relaxing and very thorough! I'm treated as a friend rather than a client and I'm so happy that I have found such a great place with people I trust! A big thank you to two lovely ladies for doing a superb job!

Lovely salon - I'd never had a wax before I visited and was worried about the pain but, although being waxed will never be a comfortable experience, Steph makes it much better because she's so calm and friendly. We had nice chats which made the time fly by! Her mum (sorry I don't know your name!) who did my 2 free facials when I completed my loyalty cards is also lovely and the facials were so relaxing I was almost asleep. Highly recommended :)

Always professional and amazing. I get a blow dry each week now that I’ve never done before just for the doll house shampoo it’s like getting a head massage so relaxing. Love it and would recommend. Even been fitted in for lash and brow tint when I’m in. Above and beyond every time and absolutely love my hair colour and cut thank you
