Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. I looked into a Wedding planner around 18 months before our Wedding, more to help with on the day support and after doing my research I found Jess. We had a brilliant first meeting on Zoom & decided the best package for us was her on the day coordination. Jess picked back up with us 3 months before the Wedding and was an amazing support from start to finish. She liaised with all of our suppliers to plan for the most perfect day. We rented candelabras for our wedding. Mathy was extremely helpful in navigating my husband and I with decorations. She was amazing in keeping communication and adapting to our requests. Very professional service, would highly recommend !

We recently used Dream Hire & Deco for chair covers for our wedding reception. Mathy was wonderful to deal with. Her communication throughout was super speedy! The chair covers provided were of great quality and condition. We are really appreciative of her services and would definitely recommend her for any event.

We hired linens to use for our wedding and couldn’t be more pleased with the service provided by Mathy and the team. Great products at a reasonable price and so accommodating when we had to postpone the drop off of items. Would definitely use again and would reccomend to anyone!

Tammy did the decor for our wedding at the end of July and was absolutely amazing. When I walked into the room I could not believe how beautiful it looked. We booked runners, charger plates, and bud vases for the tables and she did such a good job of it all. The LOVE letters really stood out in the evening and the balloons in the bridal suite just finished it perfectly. Thank you so much for helping my vision come to life.

Howards events did all the decorations at my wedding. Tammy the owner did an amazing job of laying out the room, decorating it and offering ideas and suggestions on how to do it all. The wedding ceremony room and main room looked stunning, all my guest commented on how great it looked too. Would definitely recommend!

We used Howard’s events for our daughters christening, we had the flower wall, cake stand, candy floss and popcorn as well as donut wall. It just made the event from nice to extra special, it gave the event more atmosphere, and the kids loved it! Tammy can’t do enough to help, she’s like an event fairy god mother! We can’t wait for her to decorate our wedding venue next year- no one else is trust to ensure we have a stress free day and a beautifully decorated venue. Debs decorated our venue for our Wedding on 23rd September with an Autumn/Rustic theme, what can I say but WOW absolutely perfect, she nailed it completely and couldn’t have asked for better, it was so easy to contact Debs and communicate too throughout the whole planning process. We can’t thank Debs enough for all her help in planning our wedding venue decorations. We had Debs booked for a previous venue and she happily moved with us to a new one. Our wedding was delayed due to covid so I changed my mind on the centre pieces but wasn’t sure what I wanted, debs was quick to suggest an alternative and they looked fab. We picked Debs to decorate our wedding in March. From the first meeting we felt listened to and that we could really make our dream come to life. She stuck with us even having to change the date 4 times because of covid and never once did it ever seemed like an issue! We booked to get married at Holmfirth Vineyard and they recommended Cheryl to us. We told her that we wanted classic, simple elegance and she certainly brought that vision to life. She took all of the stress out of the day and even emailed on the morning to say she had arrived and not to worry, that everything was in hand. I massively appreciated that. The room looked beautiful for the ceremony, reception and evening. I loved that she had thought of things like having LED candles on the tables with small children. I know the parents on those tables really appreciated that. I highly recommend Cheryl and I would have been lost without her!

The work she did to make our wedding day was incredible, all of our guests commented how beautiful both our ceremony room & wedding breakfast room were dressed. They were like a well oiled machine, nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was amazing down to the flower petals on the isle. Wow! Our expectations were already high from our chats and the samples we had already seen with Alison beforehand - but wow, everything far exceeded beyond what we imagined! Sometimes it can be hard to put into words what you are envisioning, but Alison had fully grasped what we were looking for and executed it amazingly on the day. Every detail was absolutely spot on. Everything was positioned well, balanced, the colour scheme as perfect, and included personal touches that made it so special to us. The actual decor itself is also high quality - our guests couldn’t believe that the floral displays weren’t real! Alison is also really easy to get on with and work with, we would recommend highly for wedding decor!

We booked Suzy as our venue stylist and we are so glad we did! Suzy is amazingly talented at what she does and managed to transform our somewhat vague ideas into a cohesive and beautiful vision for our venue. Suzy’s passion for her craft is plentiful and I came off every call with her feeling confident and excited for what she was going to create. I was able to completely relax on my wedding morning knowing the venue would look beautiful on my arrival. This in itself was priceless, but on the more practical side of things it was also such a cost and time effective decision as there was no need to source and purchase all our own props for our wedding day. It was also a far more sustainable way to style our wedding as we weren't left with boxes and boxes of wasted items at the end. Working with Suzy was an absolute dream. We planned our destination wedding styling with her from Bermuda. We spoke with her on the phone with a four hour time difference which meant early morning long distance calls to late night conversations squeezing in every detail. Suzy did a wonderful job at bringing our Pinterest board to life. Suzy was our day-of-coordinator and was absolutely amazing. Can't state enough the amount of value she delivered to our wedding, we were so so glad we booked her! All our guests and other suppliers agreed she was brilliant too. We had a DIY marquee wedding that required lots of parts coming together, and some last minute changes due to weather. Not only did Suzy manage things running smoothly on the day, but our calls in the run up to ensure everything had been planned out were really useful, as well as communication with suppliers the week before. As a bride I was able to 100% relax on my wedding morning knowing that no matter what came up, Suzy would have it sorted. The way this made me feel my wedding morning, wedding day and in the week running up, is something that I didn't know money could buy and I am so grateful! Wow! What can I say about the team at Wedding Fayres Yorkshire? I don't actually see these people as business associates but more of friends. All of the suppliers are like a little family and it's all due to how fantastic WFY are. The wedding fayres are brilliant, really well organised, marketed well so they get the numbers in and fabulous quality of suppliers. The fayres run smoothly from the moment you arrive there's usually a member of the team there to help you with your stuff (mainly for the diva's) so I look after myself. They know exactly where you are exhibiting and are always on hand from the start of the day until the finish. From the second you hear Stevie Wonder play you know you're in for a good day. Wedding Fayres Yorkshire go much further than weddings. They always are there to advise and help all their customers. I really enjoy the Grant and Allan weekly catch up meeting on Facebook live, which just gives an update of everything that's happening, it's great to always be involved. During the lockdown they have also been doing a weekly Friday night's quiz which is brilliant! It's amazing support for those wedding industry professionals who need it during hard times. All I can say is Wedding Fayres Yorkshire are FAB!

We found Wedding Venue Lighting company incredibly helpful and professional in the run up to our wedding. The team answered our questions and adjusted our order quickly, the package we put together was really good value. We hired a dance floor, up lights, light up tables and giant letters. Set up was quick and we didn’t even notice they had done it. They all looked great and really made the dance floor come alive. Would definitely recommend.
