We then had a follow up meeting when we were able to due to COVID restrictions and she was really helpful is suggesting things that might work with our theme and showing us different decoration options in the shop. Everything was effortless on the day, they just got on with everything and I arrived to the wonderful room set up. This month marks my 4 year wedding anniversary, and I’ve been reflecting on that special day. A huge part of its magic was thanks to Dina at The Rose Mist. If you're looking for someone creative for your big day, I can't recommend Dina enough. After just one consultation, she completely understood my vision (or lack of one, if I’m honest! I really didn't know the best way to decorate a small space - all I knew was I wanted it 'minimal' and 'elegant'). She asked the right questions, walked me through how it would all come together, and made the process so easy. Dina really knows how to take care of the details that matter to a bride, easing my nerves and making me feel confident that everything would be perfect. My wedding was during COVID, in a small Turkish restaurant with just 15 guests. When I finally saw the space, I was blown away. My family had already told me how beautiful the room looked, but stepping in myself, I was in awe. Dina set up the tables so elegantly, including a special display for me and my husband. She even created a charming corner featuring vintage books and antique items that really captured my personality. The whole space was brought to life with soft fabrics, flowers, candles, and a stunning backdrop for my cake. Four years on, I still fondly remember how much Dina’s heartfelt effort contributed to the magic of that day. Thank you, Dina and the team, for making it so unforgettable. I hired Dina at Rose Mist for my sisters last minute garden wedding and she produced the most stunning set up in such a short and stressful time. Her work was beyond amazing! All the guests were absolutely amazed at how beautiful everything she did was! She literally brought everything I wanted to life and more. The service was faultless and very professional. The Rose Mist is my go to for all of my parties or events!

Firstly I want to start off with a massive thank you to the Rose Mist team for really and truly pulling this one out the hat. I was meant to have a big celebration for my wedding day but due to covid I had to cancel everything two weeks before it. I had to cancel everything. I was so gutted!! After a few weeks our families decided to go ahead anyway and to do a very intimate nikkah with just family. This was planned very last minute and the Rosemist team stepped in they just took the stress right out of my hands. I wasn't too keen on the venue we manage to find at first, as it was nothing compared to my original one but she completely transformed the place. It was perfect! Better than I had imagined it! It's now actually one of my favourite small venues because of them!! She understood exactly what I wanted, she drew out everything in front of me, explained everything in detail, explained what would compliment me and my outfit. We just bounced off each others idea's and it was honestly then that I started getting excited again for my big day. She completely transformed the place. It looked perfect, when I seen it I was shocked at how different the place looked! I could not recommend Rose Mist enough!! No matter what the occasion is they can do it!! What a venue! We knew on stepping in that Owen house was the venue for us. We had visited a number of barns but non of them had what Owen house has. We met Kris who showed us around the barn and went on to be our wedding coordinator, she was with us every step of the way and was an absolute god send, the day ran smoothly anything that cropped up Kris was all over it and it was resolved without any stress (and before I was even aware)! The rest of the staff team were incredible on the day, so friendly and helpful. The barn speaks for itself, it’s absolutely stunning, there isn’t a thing that hasn’t been considered. The photos .. WOW. The accommodation at Owen house is so cool and modern all our guests had a lovely stay on site. We couldn’t recommend this venue more and would make the same decision again in a heartbeat! Thanks to everybody at Owen house!

I only have amazing things to say about having Owen House as a wedding venue and would recommend it to anyone. We had the best day and so many guests told us how great the venue was. The staff make the experience, they are all friendly, helpful and responsive. Answering any and all questions and giving great advice. A huge thank you to everyone for making the process so easy. We also ended up using suppliers recommended by the venue for most things and we would pick them again. The venue itself is perfect, they’ve thought of everything you could need. It’s beautiful as it is without a huge amount of decor but it also works with any extras you want. The getting ready rooms and the on-site accommodation is all fantastic as well. I just wish it wasn’t over already!

We fell in love with this venue the second we stepped through the door! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day at Owen House! Not only did we have the most amazing weather for an end of October wedding, but Vanessa, Kris & the team were simply incredible. From start to finish the day was just perfect, we had so many compliments on how good the venue was and how it’s completely different to anything they’ve seen before. Our guests loved trying to get pictures with the planes flying over! Communication leading up to the venue was great, any concerns or queries would be answered as soon as possible. The first wedding fair we attended was at Owen House, and from the first instance, we knew we just had to be there on our big day! The venue itself is gorgeous and suits the vibe we wanted to achieve. All of the staff are super friendly and exceptionally helpful, ready to assist with any query or concern we had. The fact that they have an on-site ceremony room (an especially beautiful one I might add!) was also a game changer for us, as we loved the thought of everyone being exactly where they needed to be for the whole day. Ell was in charge of the running of our ceremony and reception on the day, and she was an absolute star, making sure everything happened smoothly and on time. The on-site accommodation was really convenient, as well as stylish, spacious and pristine. A big thank you again OHWB for hosting such a perfect day for us, it surpassed our greatest expectations 😊

Our wedding was planned throughout covid as we got engaged the day before the national lockdown so we knew wedding planning wasn’t going to be straight forward in the early stages with all of the restrictions! We met with Charlotte who supported us through the wedding planning process, she arranged venue viewings and gave recommendations for reliable suppliers and made contact with them on our behalf (and they were all absolutely brilliant!!!). As well as offering her advice when it came to venue decoration and flowers - something we had no idea about and really appreciated the guidance . Charlotte co-ordinated the running order of the day and communicated amongst suppliers. On the day, it ran so smoothly, Charlotte worked in the background to ensure everything was in order so we didn’t need to worry about anything. In the lead up, people would tell us that wedding planning is extremely stressful, however we didn’t feel any of that and we’re so relaxed, thanks to Charlotte!

I found Charlotte through instagram and since the first initial phone call I knew she was the perfect wedding planner! Having to rearrange the wedding due to the pandemic, Charlotte made the whole process so stress free and went over & beyond to sort this for us. I would highly recommend her services, nothing was too much trouble for Charlotte, from recommending and booking all of our suppliers to answering all of my queries and organising the finer details on the day. Hiring Charlotte Elise Wedding & Events was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Charlotte helped with the sourcing and booking of suppliers and it was amazing to have access to her knowledge. Once booked she handled the venue and all suppliers brilliantly taking all the stresses of us. On the run up to our wedding day she ensured they all knew timings and answered any questions, she also made sure we hadn’t forgotten anything (even ordering some items for us!) On our wedding day Charlotte coordinated everyone (caterers, band, production etc) and helped with the setting up. Knowing Charlotte was there meant that we didn't have to worry once and looking back it was essential in helping us enjoy our wedding day. On the day of the wedding we were simply bowled with how everything had come together - the marquees, the flowers, the bar area, the staff and service, the lighting - and for this we had Andrea to thank. What a lovely venue, as we attended a classic concert of Valaldis Four Seasons held in the Monastery. The acoustics and sound was great and crystal clear. They definitely don't make buildings or Churches like that anymore.

We had our wedding at the Monastery in August and it was a glorious experience! Our coordinator Chloe went above and beyond to customise our day and accomodate for all the things that were important to us from creating a photo corner to giving us access to a side room for half the day so we had somewhere to recouperate and relax. The service staff were incredibly kind and cheerful and provided excellent and seamless service throughout the night and didn't rush us to take everything back on the same day. The food was also exceptional! I cannot wait to be invited to a wedding/event there so I can have the food again! I would recommend the Monastery because of the beautiful and ornate building and garden (which helps saving on decoration and veue dresssing) and also the kind and helpful staff.

Hi. I visited the Monastery today with 2 friends. It was the Little Owls Christmas fair. The fair was lovely, lots of nice hand crafted items. We walked around in what would have been the main area of the Monastery. What a calm atmosphere. We looked at all the areas and read the history of the Monastery . What an amazing place and so tastefully and sensitively re built from such dereliction. We had a coffee in the small but functional cafe. The boards around the Monastery gave you blast from the past with all the pictures and memories of Belle Vue which was again fantastic. The Monastery do so much to keep this wonderful building alive. You can watch tribute bands, take part in health healing, there's lots on offer. Well worth a visit. Free entry, free carpark. Easy access for people with disabilities. Absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much for the hard work you put in this piece of history. X

Beautiful building. I came here for a sound bath last week. Afterwards I ate in the Cafe and then had a wander around the building. I’ll definitely come back for some of the other sessions and activities.

We booked Flixton House for our wedding at the end of July 2023. The staff, Debbie & Jo, were very helpful to show us around, discuss our plans and talk through what was possible. They helped us to create a wonderful day that was well organised and ran perfectly. It's important to know that as a building of local historic interest owned by the council, there are some things that make it different to other places you might choose. The maximum capacity for you and your guests for an event is 100 people. That worked for us for the ceremony but meant we held a separate party elsewhere: the gardens are a public space so there is no option to have a marquee or gazebo to extend the space for guests. Flixton House has its own suppliers for food and drink. The drinks packages are very reasonable and if you have any specific requests, the team will happily source what you are after, again, at a very good price. Their caterers are C&C and can offer you traditional menus for sit down meals as well as plenty of little extras to fit around a party. All our guests commented on how delicious, fresh and hot the food was. Flixton House works as a beautiful blank canvass: you can dress the rooms as you like, bring in your own florists, photographer, DJ, entertainment etc. and the staff will help draw up a plan to work with your suppliers and order the day. We would absolutely recommend Flixton House and their team for parties and weddings. We received a really personal welcome and service from the first look-around right through to the day itself.

I had my Mendhi event at Flixton house a couple of days ago (pre-wedding party) . My guest were absolutely pleased with the venue .Flixton house is incredibly clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Their is also a dressing room, where you can get ready, which I absolutely LOVED. (I have attached a picture) I can't begin to comment on how LOVELY Debbie and the girls were and how well my guest were treated . My guest made no exception to continuously tell me how "comfortable they were made to feel" by Debbie and the team, which was a bonus to my party 😘🥰 I can't wait to plan future parties .
