These guys went above and beyond for my pup Luna when she had a terrible accident and had impaled herself on a branch in the woods. My son had taken her for a walk while i was at work and a stranger kindly took them to gatehouse vets in baldock however they weren't able to help and were shockingly insensitive and dismissive (even though ive been told multiple times i should switch to them👀) i was far from impressed and i wasnt the only one. Anyway back to the amazing team at letchworth vets for pets they did everything they could for Luna my son and myself in this extremely traumatising situation and i cannot thank them enough! They are truly vets, nurses and receptionist in it for the love of animals!

I’ve been registered here since our Yorkie was 8 weeks old (he’s 7 1/2 now) and I cannot rate them highly enough. The staff are amazing and the staff turnover is very low so you see the same faces. Lenka, one of the vets has seen our Biewer since she was a pup and saved her life by stabilising her and sending us straight to the hospital, she wouldn’t have made the night otherwise (this came from the Neurologist). We also foster, so I’m always popping over with one foster or another, they couldn’t be more helpful. Lastly, we have just foster failed and adopted Mickey, our deaf/blind Collie. He just needed to have a tooth out and the staff were so good. I needed to be with him when he went to sleep and when he woke up so he knew he was safe. They were so good I don’t think he was anxious at all or even knew I had left him. 10/10 from all of us.

We started using this vets when we first got our rescue puppy, and over time she has got very dog and human reactive, to the extreme. The only place she doesn’t react to people is at this vets! They are so accommodating to her needs, and try to make it so that it is always the same vet, Rose, seeing her to build up a relationship and trust. Helen on reception is an absolute gem and always helps however she can, and Rose, our main vet is beyond amazing with our snowy! They also accommodated to us turning up at closing time tonight with an emergency without calling ahead, and instead of turning us away like other vets probably would, they wanted to help us and got our dog seen by a vet at the very last minute. I can’t sing this place’s praises enough in all honesty ❤️

the vets - Lenka and Rose are very considerate and lovely with my dogs. Amy was very helpful and understanding when I had reason to complain about the Head Office's policy of withdrawing lifetime cover for my dogs. The rating is 5* for the branch, but zero stars for the head office to which I have written on 2 occasions - and who couldn't be bothered replying! I think head office could do with customer service training.
