I had a lovely experience at H.E.R beauty shed this past weekend. The setup is so lovely and the scented candles smell amazing and make you feel relaxed as soon as you step in the door. Genna is very friendly and makes you feel at home. I had the massage, facial and manicure package. I asked for a soft pressure massage and she delivered the perfect amount of pressure for a calming experience with a variety of strokes - the ones around the shoulders are particularly nice. The music created such a relaxing spa atmosphere - at one point I could very well imagine I was having a massage in an exotic Moroccan desert rather than in a garden in Hertfordshire. The facial may have been my favourite part. So relaxing and the smells of the products were lovely - something like Mandarin, spearmint and tea tree. The hot towels on the face and the scalp massage were bliss. Highly recommend. The manicure was great - nice range of colours to choose from. I chose a nice neutral tone and I loved the addition of a little jewel on my ring finger. Will definitely be back soon!

I got my lashes lifted and tinted and they came out so nice, lasted about 6 weeks and I will definitely go back. The lady was so lovely and kind aswell

My hair removal session was so pleasant that I didn't feel any pain. Amela is so sweet and kind. The atmosphere is a thousand times better than in a classic beauty salon! She pays attention to every detail and she is very precise in what she does. I loved it and I recommend it 100%!

Amazing service, I come here to get my eyelashes done, and never felt feeling disappointed. High quality products are used as they last longer and don’t irritate my eyelids. Environment is always clean and welcoming can’t recommend enough 🙂

It’s always such a great experience going to The Salon. I had an awful balayage at a different hairdressers in Letchworth, and the wonderful Jade at The Salon worked a miracle and fixed it. I’ve been going to her ever since and would recommend her to anyone wanting a natural looking balayage. The first photo is my hair now, and the second is what it was like before Jade fixed it. She’s friendly, professional and listens to exactly what you want!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience here. Decided I finally wanted my hair dyed professionally and had the most amazing job done by Mia here at the Salon. She was so friendly and helpful from the minute I walked in until when I left. Mia is an absolute star! As someone who had no idea what I was doing she really made me feel comfortable by going through every option with me and helping me choose what would be my best route. I cannot fault the service or the job she did and would recommend her, and the Salon, to anyone who’s looking for somewhere to have their hair done. Jodie Barlow...what an amazing talent! Not only did she work wonders with the balayage she did on my hair, she has also improved my self confidence. From the minute you walk in the door Jodie makes you feel so welcome and you know you're in safe hands. I can't really sing her praises enough. I think the photos speak for themselves in terms of her talent as a hairdresser. She is not only very skilled, she is also just the loveliest person and someone I am now lucky enough to call a friend.

Sam is absolutely fantastic, there is no one else I would trust now with looking after my skin. Natalie helped me love my hair again and I can't wait to go back. She really listened to what I wanted and made some brilliant suggestions for me. The colour is beautiful and the cut compliments my face so well. Her salon was very relaxed, welcoming and had a friendly atmosphere. The products that Natalie recommended actually work for my hair instead of making it more greasy, unlike previous recommendations. Natalie is very knowledgable and really cares about the outcome of your hair - and gives it to you straight if she thinks what you want won’t work. She’s great with midlife hair, especially for grey blending and colour correction. She knows a lot about peri/post menopause hair loss too so there’s always lots of good chat in the salon!

I had a fantastic experience with Natalie! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I felt comfortable and heard throughout the entire appointment. She took the time to listen to all my concerns, explain her approach step by step, and made sure I was happy before moving forward with anything. It’s rare to find someone who truly knows how to cut curly hair short without leaving you looking like a fluffy sheep – but Natalie absolutely nailed it! I’m so happy with the result that I now fully trust her to take on my next big change: colouring. The salon space itself was lovely – welcoming, calming, and thoughtfully designed. A special shoutout to the washing chair where you can stretch out your legs instead of having them dangle awkwardly. Such a small detail, but it made a big difference to the overall experience. Highly recommend – I’ll definitely be back!

Been looking for a salon closer to home who does eyebrow threading and went today and the lovely Lauren done them for me. I've had my eyebrows done at different places but she is by far the best! I’ve been a customer of Lauren’s for a few years and she is one of the nicest and professional people. She will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable and happy while she works her magic! I was the next client after the 1 star review lady and I have to say this is completely unfounded. That lady was extremely rude and arrogant to Lauren who remained professional and took extra time to make sure this person was happy. This is the best salon around and I would never dream of going anywhere else.

Absolutely wonderful, would not trust my nails with any other salon. They are so professional, helpful, friendly and talented. I always get lots of compliments on my nails and they keep checking every step of the way to make sure I’m happy. This Salon is honestly the best! The beauty treatments are so good, and the hot sunbeds give you that perfect tan. The staff is super chill and so friendly, it makes the whole experience even better. Deffo my go to salon. Highly recommend!
