I have been to the attic for years and will continue to go there. They have been particularly good throughout COVID-19, making you feel really safe. The salon is thoroughly cleaned and masks/visors are worn at all times. As always the hair colouring, cut and styling is the best !

I have been having my hair cut by Kerry for 15 years - she is the best! I made the mistake to go elsewhere once when I didn’t have a car and learnt my lesson that Kerry and the girls at The Attic are worth whatever it takes to get there; Uber, taxi, bus, horse and cart - I will never go any where else. They are that fab that I now consider Kerry a family friend. They are kind, professional, the salon itself is clean, tidy and has a nice welcoming feel. Love it!!

I have had my Hair done by Sarah for a while now , she is amazing she really listens to what I want and is never afraid to try new things. I have had silver hair , lavender and recently rose Gold every time Sarah goes above and beyond to achieve what I want . Love the products Sarah uses on my hair . I have also had my hair put up for a wedding and styled for nights out and where ever I go people will ask who has done my hair. If you want a relaxing experience from start to finish I def recommend Sarah at the attic

I think the pictures speak for themselves, years of highlight, roots and more recently gray's and a horrible orange colour under-neither. I absolutely love the colour and cut am excited for my next appintoment and the plans Sabrina has. On top of that Sabrina is so welcoming and interesting the time flies by. Thank you x

My daughter recently had her prom hair and make-up done by Sabrina and it was such a wonderful experience. The hair style Sabrina created included hair roses and was perfect; she listened to what my daughter wanted and absolutely exceeded our expectations. The make-up look was equally beautiful and looked stunning. It suited her pale complexion perfectly, and she looked radiant. I had such a really great experience at Sabrina's studio! From the moment I walked in, Sabrina greeted with a warm welcome, which instantly made me feel comfortable. Sabrina was so kind and friendly, chatting with me throughout the appointment and making the whole experience really enjoyable and relaxed. My haircut looks really good and frames my face shape really well. She gave me great advice on how to care for my hair, which I really appreciated. The end result was amazing, my hair feels so soft, healthy, and looks really lovely. I’m so happy with it and will definitely be returning. I had my first cut and colour with Sabrina, and it was such a lovely experience. I’m used to going to chain salons, but this felt so much more personal. She was warm, welcoming, and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. Nothing felt rushed—she paid attention to every detail and made sure I was happy throughout. I absolutely loved how my hair turned out! It felt fresh, healthy, and exactly what I was hoping for. I’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved my first visit to Chop it Like it's Hot! Maisie and Jordan were both so lovely. Jordan did my mum's hair who was super pleased with it! And Maisie brought my vision to life of a pixie style shag with baby fringe. The entire vibe is great in there - super chill and not intimidating at all. Already got my next appointment booked in!

A week ago I got my hair cut short from very long and it didn't turn out well. I wanted a trendy choppy cut but looked more like my 80 year old mum :-(. Maisie at Chop it Like Its Hot was recommended by 2 friends with fab short cuts by Maisie herself. So today with her expertise and magic scissors and clippers she has transformed my hair into the trendy choppy cut that I have thus far just dreamed of and I LOVE IT! Best short cut I have EVER had and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Maisie is so friendly and welcoming and knows exactly what you want when you try to explain how you want your cut to look. This gal gets short hair! The salon has a lovely laid back friendly vibe, the coffee is great and there's even the cutest resident dog to make a fuss of. Thank you so much Maisie, life saver! Absolutely best service and atmosphere from start to finish! I’m a huge fan of Jordan and Maisie for years and years now and followed them to Chop It, Hitchin. So pleased I did. Jordan advised me my current haircolour and money-piece and I received and still do receive lots of compliments for it. Looking forward to my next colour and cut. The salon feels like a beautiful living room and going for a treatment is like catching up with friends. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

Rhian is brilliant! So professional, really explains how she works and does the most beautiful work on my nails. I love going to see her for a chat and a pamper, and my nails always last perfectly until I see her again!

You may have seen this eclectic looking salon as you drive down Hermitage road… and once you walk through the door, the beautiful differences continue. The place is not only unique in its decor, but also in the ambience and feel. There is a genuine warm welcome by the staff inside and they seem to ‘jump on board’ with whatever hair creation you want, from a simple trim to something more elaborate. What also impresses me greatly, is they are not afraid to deploy unconventional cutting techniques to get the look you want. In addition to that, their knowledge of hairdressing/ barbering is exceptional and will be honest with what is good for your hair and what isn’t whilst doing their best to achieve the look you want. I was trained by the talented Claire in gel nails, her training was so amazing, nothing missed, and very comfortable settings. My manual was packed with information. I’ve also received ongoing support after my training which I needed and found so helpful. I’d highly recommend Claire for any training she offers.

Very impressed with the waxing appointment I had with Maisie who was so lovely to chat with. She did a great, very thorough job with my full leg, underarm and bikini wax. I have been going to Clare for around 2 years now for lash extensions and gel nails, and I could not recommend her more. Clare is such a positive spirit and provides a comfortable, luxurious salon experience. Her nail art is amazing and she is able to bring any idea or picture to life. I've been coming to glo and blo to see Katherine for years for my lashes and waxing and today went for a full body massage as a treat for my birthday from my husband. I've had several massages from Kelly and I cannot wait to have my next one! As soon as I stepped into Kelly's treatment room, I felt relaxed. Kelly made me feel totally at ease and her treatment room is gorgeous. Little details like the heated mat on the massage table just add to the perfect experience. I have had many massages in the past, and I can honestly say that Kelly gives the BEST massage I've ever had. 100% recommend!

I booked Kelly for a girls pamper day/night which turned out to be amazing! Kelly set up the room nice and cosy with amazing smells and a warm blanket! Each treatment was bespoke to my friends needs which included reiki and full body massages. Each person shared how lovely Kelly was and attuned to their individual need. Kelly thank you for such an awesome time and the little gift bags and lavender pillows. I would highly recommend booking Kelly for a spa girls night in!!!
