The most friendly an homy dental surgery imaginable. The receptionist is welcoming, smiley, ready to help or advise if needed. The waiting room is cosy; both: comfortable and historic as the house is listed. The surgery is the opposite: modern, equipped with the most sophisticated tools. The nurse was excellent, chatty, thus distracting from the procedure what was a relief. She was kind and caring. The dentist is the best I know, but I cannot furnish you with any more details as I am wearing the same surname:) Anyway, I would highly recommend.

I’m so pleased I found this clinic, I came here because of needing root canal treatment and now will be coming regularly. I’m very happy with the care and quality of treatment from Michael Steeden, he explains everything clearly and calmly. All the staff are friendly and welcoming too.

Have used this Dental Surgery for over 2 years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Great service from the Dental Hygienist, who is very thorough and explains everything really well. The Dentist Natasha is also very professional and has a reassuring manner, which helps put you at ease.

Great care and attention. Got my usual very patient scolding for not flossing enough. Pricing had risen somewhat since my last visit to "bring into line with the partner clinics" :/ £100+ visits now being normalised, there was a time when l wouldn't have been able to afford it (especially every 6 months !?) and would have gone without. I'm lucky to have very good teeth but I wonder how many people are just neglecting them, now that the NHS has all but abandoned dental care, it seems.

I attend Hitchin Dental Care for specialist care having been referred by my usual dentist. I've been coming for a good few years now and am always impressed with the expertise of the Doctors and specialists that have treated me here. I appreciate the amazing staff who look after bookings and payments, they're always friendly and so efficient, there's always a warm welcome. I also appreciate the calm 'piano bar' vibe while you wait for your appointment. Nobody likes coming for dental treatment, especially when it might be a long surgical procedure, but the staff, environment and expert care makes it the best experience it can be.

I had to have an emergency appointment as I had damaged a tooth. Not been to the dentist for years as I am terrified. I got a next day appointment with Ricky. He was amazing. Totally put me at ease. I honestly did not feel a thing during treatment. The team are so friendly, helpful and my repaired tooth is perfect. I am going to now have regular check ups. Would recommend to all my friends and family.

I had a Root Canal done yesterday 22.11.22 at Hitchin Dental Centre by Mike Goldsmith. I am petrified beyond belief of the dentist due to bad experiences in the past, but I cannot put into words how relaxed I felt throughout the whole procedure, to the point where I actually think I fell asleep! When you tell people "I've got to have a root canal done" they automatically tell you how painful and uncomfortable it is, but my honest advice is not to be scared in the slightest, because it truly was pain free. If for any reason I need any future work doing that involves a Root Canal there is no doubt in my mind that I would go back to Mike and the team every single time. Thank you Mike and the team for making my experience so positive, and I can officially say... I am no longer scared of the dentist! Danielle Vaughan

I recently had an Implant at Old Park Dental. I couldn’t be happier with the work that was done. The clinic was clean and Dr Harpreet was amazing at explaining everything. Really friendly staff with a caring and professional approach. Shohaib the treatment coordinator was really lovely along the way, he ensured I was seen smoothly and explained everything so well. She and her assistant were incredibly supportive throughout—before, during, and after the procedure. A tricky extraction is now successfully behind us, and we’re ready for braces. The tooth fairy will be making her final visit… ever!

After years of feeling unhappy with the appearance of my teeth, I finally made the decision to undergo treatment. I was placed under the care of Punam, with whom I was able to openly discuss all of my concerns. Together, we decided on a treatment plan that included composite bonding on seven teeth and a ceramic crown on one, following a course of teeth whitening. Throughout the entire process, Punam was exceptional—professional, attentive, and highly skilled. She took the time to understand exactly what I was hoping to achieve. My request was for a natural-looking result that still reflected the fact that I had undergone cosmetic work, and she delivered precisely that. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome and cannot recommend Punam highly enough.

After years of disliking my smile, I decided to go ahead and start my Invisalign journey. I can’t recommend Ash enough, he is so calm, kind and honest which is everything I wanted in a dentist. He checked in regularly to make sure I was happy with my teeth and asked if I wanted to make changes along the way to make my smile perfect. Then we went onto composite bonding which he made look so natural and exactly how I wanted. I can honestly say he is the best dentist I’ve been to. Cranfield staff are all so lovely and professional. I visited the dentist quite a few times during my Invisalign journey and can say every time was a good experience, coming from someone who has always hated the dentist! The team at Bancroft are fantastic. From start to finish I felt really comfortable, even though I get bad anxiety with anything dentistry related. I went for a wisdom tooth removal under sedation and the whole process was so easy. Around 6-7 days after the removal I had a bit more pain and called the clinic, they had me go in within an hour of my phone call to check all was ok. I would definitely recommend, and I can guarantee no one would ever have a bad experience here, as the staff are so attentive and knowledgeable.

Bancroft dentistry Hitchin is an absolutely amazing dentistry. I have always been scared of dentist due to a bad experience as a child. I went to Bancroft in desperation after years of neglect. They made me feel so welcome. They listened to me, taking things careful and checking that I was comfortable throughout proceedures. I felt cared for, valued as a customer and respected. I've been going regularly for a few years now, they know me very well. It's like popping in to see your friends. There prices are very reasonable. Never had any problems getting in touch or booking appointments. I like to smile now, thanks to this great team.

I underwent a composite restoration and crown fitting procedure at Hitchin Dental today with Michael Steeden and couldn’t rate highly enough. From the first appointment Michael came across as professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about his field of work. The procedures themselves went smoothly (and painlessly!) and despite initially feeling anxious, Michael and his colleague were wonderful at putting my mind at ease, answering my questions and providing much-needed reassurance. I am really happy with the results, the crown looks great, with no residual discomfort. Would gladly recommend Michael and Hitchin Dental.

We went to this dentist, and the staff were very polite and friendly, and very understanding of my child who has special needs. The dentist (Rajan) took the time and patience and understood that my child has special needs and made it a pleasant experience for them. We have booked to return here for the follow up visit.

This was my first time visiting No1 High Street Dental since moving to Hitchin, and I didn't really know what to expect. The foundation dentist, Nora, was really lovely. Nora was reassuring, helped make me feel at ease during my treatment (as I suffer with high anxiety), and even provided aftercare advice, which I never got at my last dentist! The reception team are also so lovely and kind. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve only recently started at this dental surgery after quite a few years of not going! My teeth badly needed cleaning due to smoking etc. I suffer with bad dental pain just from cleaning and was quite anxious about going to the hygienist. I needn’t have been though. They were very understanding and patient with me and used a numbing gel before cleaning. Amazing stuff. I wish I had been offered this by my previous dentists years ago then I would have gone more regularly. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

Fantastic service & results. The care and precision taken by everyone has been 1st class. My treatment wasn’t straight forward as I had to have a tooth out to help with moving the others. This was all taken care of and managed. Would highly recommend.

I have just completed Invisalign treatment with Brijesh. I could not be happier with the results. He is so knowledgeable and there wasn't anything he couldn't do with the aligners to get my teeth perfectly aligned. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have their teeth straightened.
