Had my hair done by Dean and honestly couldn’t be happier. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and professional — I felt welcomed straight away. Dean really listened to what I wanted and delivered it perfectly. He completely transformed my hair, and the whole experience felt relaxed and easy. Highly recommend if you’re after someone who genuinely knows what they’re doing. Thank you again!

This fabulous hairdresser is world class -at St Albans prices. Stylists are experienced, professional and quick. The whole salon has a fantastic energy and buzz. I went for a blow dry and it was excellent. I was even offered a glass of Prosecco and free coffee. Really amazing experience -if you can get in!

This is such a great salon, I always receive such a nice welcome and feel so well looked after by Andrew and the team. It’s lovely to be able to spend some time in the lounge before appointments to relax. Andrew has been cutting my hair for several years and always pays great attention to detail and takes the time to make each haircut perfect! Can’t recommend enough.

I went to Tielsi hair salon after my husband recommended Jemma as a hairstylist for our wedding. She did my hair, my mom’s, my safta’s, the bride’s, and my sister’s.We all left feeling amazing. Confident. Happy. Everyone was smiling and ready to go. She was super quick and knew exactly what we wanted. If you’re after someone who actually listens and makes you feel beautiful, Jemma’s the one. The owner of the salon and all the staff is unbelievable and we had the best in salon experience.

Tony & Jemma are absolutely incredible - I came in to have my cut & colour ready for my wedding day. I have been going to tielsi for years and couldn’t rec more! Especially Jemma, she is fantastic! She has such a talent for cutting and colouring hair, I have never been happier with my hair than when she does it. I get mine dyed ginger, and she is able to get such beautiful vivid shades, just on top of my natural blonde hair. She’s incredible! (Iykyk red fades super quick, but I get months out of it, she’s found the magic formula for my hair, I’ll happily let her do whatever she wants, it always looks amazing) photos show my hair just done, and 3 months later!

Had an amazing experience with Kristina and Hattie! I was so tensed about how it would turn out since it was my first time going this short, but it was totally worth it. I cannot recommend Kristina B Hairdressers highly enough. I have been having my hair coloured by Sharon and cut by Kristina for about a year now. Both Kristina and Sharon are experts in what they do. They both offer advice tailored to your specific hair needs but also led but what look you want...not imposing their views on you but genuinely listening to your preference and needs. Outside of the haircut and colour technicalities... being a client at Kristina B feels like coming to see your mates. There is always such a warm welcome and sense of community I wouldn't now want to go anywhere else.

I got my hair cut and blow dried by Hattie and she was incredible! Got the vision that I exactly wanted and did her own amazing suggestions that suited my hair so well. She and Kristina are wonderful and this will definitely be my regular salon now! :)))

I can 100% testify that Kristina and her team are such a lovely human being. They put their heart into their craft and when you’re there, you’ll feel it! Sharon did coloring on my hair, she’s knowledgeable, but most importantly able to explain it to me in simple terms. She recommended not to do too much to ensure my hair remains healthy, but enough to inject “life” and made my hair look amazing. Kristina is a wizard of styling. Idk what she’s done to my hair, but I look amazing after the haircut. I have a fine hair texture, which is not the easiest to style, but I look amazing after. Made me feel like a million bucks! Elizabeth also deserves the praise, her head massage was fantastic. Not to forget Hattie, although I didn’t get a haircut with her this time, she’s so lovely (all smiles). She cut another lady’s hair whilst I was there (short cut) and it look amazing. Overall, the team deserves all the 5 star rating review. I would highly recommend this salon and team to anyone! If you’re thinking to book, don’t think twice. I finally found my go to salon. Definitely will come back! Thanks ladies tor making me feel special and for taking care of me❤️

Olivia is fantastic! By the time I left I was so relaxed I could just about walk out the door. She is always professional and friendly. She makes sure to check what you need, any areas to focus on or avoid and that the pressure level is suitable. Emily is always fantastic at my long bob! Always a great cut and blow dry and appreciate her advice on length to suit my face shape / routine etc!

My first experience at A Cut Above was amazing. I’m always nervous about trusting someone with my hair, but Emily was perfect! She listened to exactly how I wanted the cut which was the best cut I’ve had, and then got my colour spot on (also 6 months away from my wedding! So I’m incredibly grateful). Before coming here I had dreaded haircuts for years because it always felt like a gamble with whether i was gonna get a good result or not, but Becca is amazing. She knows her stuff, takes her time, pays attention to your hair type, and is happy to adjust things. Plus, she’s super friendly. I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and the whole place has a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Oh where do I begin? Wonderful, modern studio, friendly environment! Ian took time to understand what I was expecting from my new haircut and made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment. He takes great pride in his work and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They cater for all age groups as well and were very accommodating towards all their customers. Before we started, she asked whether I had any problem areas, what level of pressure I wanted and whether I wanted my scalp massaged. It was all very professional but friendly. I booked a massage today and have just got home, I haven't felt so relaxed and light for a long time. Olivia knew exactly what she was doing and it was perfect, really firm and effective pressure, I was so comfortable and it felt like a real treat. I had the most amazing massage, facial and reflexology with Rachel yesterday. Having never tried reflexology before I am now a complete convert!! I have had facials with Rachel before which have been excellent but this package was next level and just what I needed.

I have a disability and struggle with chronic pain and mobility. Rachel did a house call for me and brought her table, charm and expertise. The experience was relaxing and tailored to me. It was so so good time even flew. Rachel is very personable and kind it was easy to talk to her. She gave me a deep tissue massage that has greatly helped with my pain from sciatica to general aches and pains. Amazing service that’s reasonably priced and from an experienced professional, I would definitely recommend.

Jess is a miracle worker! My old tired eyebrows have been brought back to life!! So grateful and fabulous company whilst having it done. Jess has also done 2 piercings for me and they have been placed perfectly. AND.. she pierced my 10 year olds ears.. my daughter was nervous and Jess chilled her out and put her at ease and it was all done with smiles! Thanks Jess 💚 HIGHLY recommend 🩷

Jess is amazing! She was so kind to me when taking my piercings out before an MRI. She extended her hours to squeeze me in last minute and was so accommodating. Genuinely so lovely, I would recommend her to anyone!

Great service honestly- Jess makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Feels like you’re just hanging with a friend. She’s very careful with the piercing and she listens to what you like and accommodate you. Will be going back there and dragging my sisters this time around!
