Wilde About Hair had been recommended to me by a friend. And I found myself finally booking because of an unexpected day off. To be honest I’m sorry I hadn’t become a customer until now. I am so happy with my cut and Gary was meticulous like no one has been before. Our conversation was light and delightful he made me feel comfortable even though it was my first time. Will be back in 3 months, I might even let you colour my hair! Thank you Gary.

I went in with longish hair and decided to go for a bob cut and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Gary was absolutely brilliant: professional, friendly, and clearly skilled. He talked me through each step of the process, explained how to style it, and really listened to what I wanted. I showed him a few photos and he nailed the look perfectly. As usual with Olivia, I had the most marvelous and deeply relaxing experience. After months of stress and a sore, tense back, the ultimate face and body treatment was exactly what I needed. Not only was it soothing and unwinding, but she also worked her magic to release all the muscular tension from my body. My skin looked fabulous - I was glowing! My first visit to Mosaic. Clearly passionate and skilled Michelle took time to understand exactly the look I was after, talking me through the whole process as she was cutting - to give me exactly the look I was going for. Approaching 60, at last a cut that so many times other salons have just given me an Old Lady styling. Michelle gave me advice on different ways to care for and style my hair. A very warm and relaxing atmosphere, all the staff were attentive and welcoming. Thank you Mosaic.

Finding a new hairdresser after 20 years of the same person seemed a daunting prospect; but I couldn't have picked a better and more welcoming place than Mosaic. What a gem of a find! You can book online, but all reviews came out well, so I called and spoke to the owner who recommended Sharon. She cut my shoulder-length hair back into a very sleek bob. She was efficient and unfussy and easy to chat to. What a wonderful first impression; I am delighted with the result. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and all customers seemed to come out looking stylish. Very highly recommended.

Great salon, been using them for 15 years or more for colouring, cut, styling (and restyling) and finish. For most of that time I have been a client of the lovely Michelle (except for a couple of spells of maternity leave!) and can't fault her attention to detail and her understanding of what I want for my hair. The whole experience at the salon is good - from the staff on the front desk to the 'juniors' - the standards set are high for everyone.

Amazing service from Demi, she's very talented and has a great sense of humour. She's the only hairdresser I can trust with my curly hair. Already looking forward to the next appointment!

Nicola was fantastic, and my daughter was really pleased with her hair. She took the time to listen carefully to what my daughter wanted, consulted her thoroughly, and checked in throughout the process to ensure she was happy with the result. The blow-dry looked gorgeous, and as soon as we stepped out of the salon, she was already receiving compliments on her hair.

I cannot say how much I love this place for my hair. Used to go here all the time when I lived in St Albans and I find myself coming back here all the way from Cambridgeshire now as often as I can. I simply cannot find another salon as good as this one. I’m a regular for eyebrow threading with Asha-such a lovely lady! Even if I have to go somewhere local sometimes for threading, I come back to her to fix it as often as I can. Asha’s the one who suggested I try aveda colour for my hair the first time-about 3 years ago. I trusted her and booked in a colour treatment here, never looked back since. Katie does a great job for my highlights every time. My haircuts here have been great too. Staff really listen to what you want done and do a fantastic job. I’ve also noticed the difference Aveda products have made to my hair. I now exclusively use their products and my hair has never been healthier.

Solange St Albans is a chic salon. The service is first class, from the time you enter to your departure. The coffee and tea served with delicious biscuits are very welcome. It has been stated that hairdressing is a technical skill that requires a unique understanding of hair types, styles, and chemical processes. Anne has all of these skills and more. She is the crème de la crème. Her attention to detail is simply divine. She was trained at Vidal Sassoon, which she is very proud of. When Anne cuts hair, it is like an artist. And the client is involved with what she is aiming to achieve. The hair washing section is excellent, a wonderful wash and fabulous massage.

Yesterday, I paid my first visit to this salon for a haircut. Romina skillfully tended to my hair, and I must say my locks appear remarkably revitalized and healthy now. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Not to forget, the scalp massage was absolutely fantastic. It was truly a professionally delivered service, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude🙏
