I attended this lovely salon as a curly hair model last weekend. I am so glad that I did. It was the first time that I have ever been to a salon and not felt intimidated in any way. I usually feel out of place, but the welcome I received there was so warm and genuine, I was immediately at ease. I couldn't be more pleased with the cut, the styling and the invaluable hints and tips I received during my appointment. I will definitely be going back in the near future. If you're a curly, this is the place to go.

I had the best time today, a wonderful haircut in the most lovely setting! Where to start: Charlotte is only 19 and one of the junior stylists but when I tell you this is THE best haircut I’ve ever had in my life I’m not joking. One of the most professional & knowledgeable stylists I’ve encountered so far. It does tell a lot about the general vibe and professionalism of this salon. I was greeted with a lovely iced tea (you can get SO many different types of drinks & snacks by the way) and by lovely smiles. The rest of the appointment flew by with lots of chat, laughter and so many tips I got to take home to apply to my newly discovered curly hair. I didn’t feel pressured whatsoever into buying their products (although I definitely will buy some as the results speak for themselves) which is also very refreshing. This is also is probably the first time where I felt safe, not judged and genuinely heard in a hair salon. Just so amazed by the amount of knowledge and amazing personalities that run this place. Thank you Charlotte and the rest of the staff for a lovely experience. 10/10!

It was my first visit to this fabulous salon and I will definitely return. I had a keratin smoothing treatment with Charlotte. Charlotte is young and one of the junior members of the team but she is extremely talented and so knowledgeable. The service was top class and I would recommend Charlotte to anyone. Absolutely loving my frizz free hair. The salon has a lovely atmosphere and you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Charlotte

This is a very overdue review but I had a New Guest Curly Cut Experience in March after my neighbour recommended The Colour Room to me. Venetia was super friendly and gave me lots of hints and tips for my hair, and showed me how to get the best curl - I'd never seen it so curly! Above all she gave me the best shape haircut I have ever had, and four months later it still looks great! I really appreciated the items in the goody bag too. I'll definitely be coming back!

It was my first time visiting and had my hair cut with Venetia. It was one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had, she was so lovely and welcoming from the beginning and explained everything to me in such detail. She made sure I was happy with the idea and shape we were aiming for and taught me how to best style my hair and the best application of product for my hair type. I’m a beyond pleased with the result she has really brought my curls back to life and looking so much healthier. I will definitely be booking in again👍🏼
