The new email system for routine appointments is very efficient and we were seen the same day. I called on arrival and waited outside, lovely Clare called me back to take some information then came out to collect my dog. My dog is 16 and gets anxious, so although I understand why, I was apprehensive about leaving her, but she came out very calm, accompanied by Clare who explained her treatment plan and brought out medication. For payment I contacted them the following day. They have clearly worked hard to find a system that ensures everyone is safe. Very friendly and efficient service, and I felt they really cared for my lovely old lady. I would recommend without hesitation.

Without doubt the best vets in the area, by a long way. We have been coming here since 2020 when my cat needed an operation - with Claire’s excellent care she is now still in perfect health - another vet practice told me to have her put down! Moira and Kim on reception are both lovely, very kind and friendly both on coming in and leaving, and very helpful on the phone. Claire is by far the best vet we have ever visited, excellent thorough advice and explains things really clearly but also so warm and friendly. Always have fantastic service here and wouldn’t go anywhere else

Bought my dog in unregistered and unannounced under an emergency with a piece of bone stuck in her mouth. They quickly sedated her and sorted it out. The price was really reasonable considering it was an emergency and they had to put all other patients on hold. The vet and all reception staff was so caring and helpful in a Horrible situation they couldn’t have been better and I would hesitate to return or recommend.

Lovely vets. Always friendly and attentive for our dog Lucas who sadly passed away a few weeks ago, who finally succumbed to lymphoma following his remarkable 4-year remission with the cancer. We will always be grateful for their kindness from when he first met them to his final moments where we held his paw as he slipped away. Thank you for all you did for him

At first I wasn't impressed as I had a really sick dog. However once they found the owners name they were brilliant. Can't praise Rebecca enough. So caring and gentle. Thank you for making Beth's last minutes so calming.

The vets are very good and always friendly. They always know how to help your pet and are very understanding. I have attended this branch a few times for same-day appointments when my usual Hilsea branch was too busy. The only reason I give 4 stars is the waiting room. Unlike the waiting room in Hilsea, Emsworth has a small waiting room with no separate area for cats. This is especially troublesome for anxious cats, as there are a lot of dogs in the waiting area. At times, it gets very loud, and some dogs try to get to the cats. 🙄

We have used Christopher Carter vets for many years with 4 different cats. Always found them to be helpful and kind, our two boys pumpkin and pickle are safe in their hands and we are glad we have them as our vets, without any hesitation I would recommend this practice and so pleased they continue to operate as Chris and sue would want.

The team at Riverside always answer messages promptly on PetsApp with accurate and useful information, I always speak to the right people, whether that’s reception or clinical staff, and I can always get an appointment in an appropriate amount of time (whether that’s 20 mins or 2 weeks). Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Riverside to anyone, we are very lucky to have them in Bishopstoke.

We switched to Riverside Vets (an independent practice) several years ago and have been really pleased with the move. They have good pet plans for cats and dogs (no idea about other animals), staff are excellent - friendly, helpful, patient and sympathetic. We've never felt as though we're being steered towards any treatments or decisions based on cost, always seems to be what's best for the pets but taking our opinions and feelings into account. Even the most difficult decisions have been softened by the care and compassion that all the staff have shown. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I want to shout out Dr Jess in particular who has been so kind to me and my cats during our consultations. She made time for me at short notice, even when I came in for a different pet. She was honest yet empathetic and kind. She seemed to have a natural understanding of my pets' needs as well as my own. The support staff have also been amazing. Before I was even a customer, they helped me to encourage my nervous dog inside their office. The nurses called me promptly after New Years to check on how my cat was doing, and the lady who came to take my payment after euthanisation was kind and considerate. I cannot thank them enough. I'm new to the area and practice, but they treated me so well. It would be 5 stars except I did have to chase for a day and a half to speak to another vet (not Jess) about my dying cat.

We'd like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to the staff of the clinic, for looking after our Ukrainian, white, long-haired cat Ticha. Special thanks goes to Dr. Amy Macklin and Dr. Amie Nugent. The incurable diagnosis of "kidney failure" came as a shock to us, as Ticha was a completely healthy cat whilst in Ukraine. Undoubtedly, the stress from the explosions and then - long time of unsettlement by the move to the UK, must have left an imprint on his health. Both Dr. Amy and then Dr. Amie, selected the right supportive therapy and constantly provided us with all the necessary consultations that supported Ticha's normal life. Inevitably, the disease took its toll, Ticha's condition deteriorated suddenly and he could not live to see his 14th birthday one month time. Despite our huge loss - we are very grateful to two professional doctors who gave us an extra year and 9 months of happiness with Ticha. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts! Ticha's family 🇺🇦.

Update! Amazing team! Everyone has been so kind, caring & helpful! Thankyou So Much for all the expertise - advice - support - care We got to make extra 6 months of memories with our beloved Bennie! Bennie's 3 sons will also benefit from same level of care too! Good not only for regular checks but offers much needed specialist care! One of my Chihuahuas need to see a cardiologist & being disabled myself I needed to find one local to our home... luckily Mildmay had one available & kindly agreed to see him! I was a wreck & they were lovely - took care of everything! Got indepth information of what was going wrong & their plan to help sort my Chi out!

I can't recommend Mildmay Veterinary Hospital highly enough! Every vet and nurse we've encountered has been exceptionally friendly, attentive, and caring toward my dog, Momo, putting both of us at ease with their gentle approach. We’ve been working with Shelley to get our rescue dog in the door after bad associations built up at our last vet. Today, Trixie happily let Shelley cut her rear dew claws and I am over the moon with how far she’s come after around 5 visits. The confidence clinic is an amazing service that all vets should have and the response to our little bag of nerves is in stark contrast to other vets!

I was not registered with Mildmay when my dog started having a heart attack aged 15years- my own vet in fairoak didn’t pick up their emergency number and then became engaged- I phoned Mildmay and they couldn’t have been more supportive- the nurse on the phone was so kind and reassuring and the care I received as they had to put him down was the best I have ever had- he is the 8th dog I have owned. Can’t praise this team enough and will register my next dog with them when I am ready to get one.

Lovely vets. Staff friendly and welcoming. Really like that there is separate areas for cats /small animals and dogs. There are even treats on offer which is a nice touch. Plus leaflets and helpful info. It’s a pleasant place to visit even if the reason for going isn’t. The website is good and I really appreciate being able to book non urgent appointments online.

Exceptional care for my dog Eddie by truly knowledgable specialists. Eddie was referred in the middle of the night and after a two hour journey to Winchester I was welcomed by Eliana, Jorge and the clinical team who immediately jumped into action. Their care for my dog and concern for my piece of mind has been unmatched from specialists to front desk to nurses. I highly recommend Anderson Moores, in case of urgent care. My pet was recently referred to Anderson Moores and had emergency and will have on-going treatment there. It’s really hard to entrust him to people I’ve only met once (even if they are fully qualified vets and the best possible people to help him)! But the care and treatment he received was speedy and so caring. All staff have been fantastic with me too. Great care taken to explain things to me. Importantly to me, the liaison with my local veterinary practice has been brilliant so I can be sure my pet continues to get the best possible care from both practices and everyone has current notes. The atmosphere at Anderson Moores is very calm, a massive help at a time of distress.

Our Westie, Pixie, underwent TPLO (on both legs) surgery in March. It was traumatic for her and us, but with Anderson Moores' skills and care, we could not thank the Team enough, especially that of her Consultant, Kate Holroyd. We have an almost 2 year old American Bulldog Gus, who has just had TPLO surgery, I cannot praise Anderson Moores enough for their service, from the initial consultation with Maria who spent nearly an hour explaining what she surgery entailed, how she would do it and the recovery process we were instantly put at ease, she was clear, concise and above all kind, the professionalism, empathy and kindness shown to us and Gus throughout has been amazing. Juan Carlos too has been amazing, nothing is too much trouble. We are in the recovery process now, and is a long road ahead but feel we are In the best hands, at no time have we been made to feel a nuisance with the endless worries and questions we've posed, top notch service, top notch vets, admin team and nurses. A great practice 👌

My two Cavaliers attended for their annual vaccinations this morning. Staff were welcoming and professional as always. The Vet gave them both a full check up and discussed my concerns about their health, what I need to look out for and the future options available. The notes on the screen were clearly detailed as the vet read their health histories. The knowledge shared was research based & applicable to my dogs. There were informative suggestions & no hard sell. The surgery provided a 'pet remedy' to spray on a supplied mat which helped to calm my excitable dogs. One of them actually lay down resting on it whilst the other was being checked over! As expected, we received thorough profession care today in a pet friendly environment. This is why this I have chosen this practice to care for my dogs throughout their lives. I continue to recommend them highly.

I recently took my dog for a routine vaccine appointment, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and attention we received. Despite it being a standard visit, the vet (Dimitrios) was incredibly thorough and took the time to ensure my dog was comfortable throughout the entire process. His extensive knowledge and expertise were evident as they answered all my questions and provided valuable advice on my dog's overall health. It was clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone looking for exceptional and compassionate veterinary care. We'll definitely be returning for all our future needs!

I alway bring my two chihuahua to the vets, they are always welcome and friendly. They really good at keeping my dogs calm and when ever I ask for advice they willing to give it to. My two dogs are on the puppy plan and the cost is really good. Thank you, Teddy and Alfie and chantelle.
