Just a wonderful vet and their staff are just so empathetic and kind. The vet is such a good listener and made my dog at peace with dignity. 8 months later I had another rescue and knew he would be our vet again.

Have been registered with Pete pretty much from the start and cannot send enough hugs and appreciation to this wonderful man. Had to speak to him today about my Lettie regarding her ears and he is so understanding and helpful every time I need him. He has once again sorted things for me. The Nurses and Reception girls are also very helpful and friendly. Will not go to another Vet all the time he has his Practice. He has looked after all my furbabies with kindness and compassion always.

It was our first visit to this veterinary practice as we have just moved to the island. I am shocked at how you are treated as a person, unlike our last veterinary practice The People's Vet were so friendly offers of Tea and Coffee while we waited and booked us in quickly after examination of Daisy and her nasty eye. They did a fab job and she is back to normal now. I highly recommend these lovely people.

We cannot thank Pete and his lovely team at The People’s Vet enough for the amazing love and care shown not only to our dear dog Harry but also to us , especially last Wednesday when we sadly had to let Harry our 15 1/2 yr old cocker spaniel run free over Rainbow 🌈 Bridge.. The kindest, cleanest and friendliest vets I've ever used. Lots of parking, well thought out waiting area and simple bits such as hooks to hang leads on when paying so your dog doesn't rip your arm off to leave when trying to count money etc 🤣. Staff are wonderful and the prices are average for veterinary services.

The staff recognise my little dog now as he has been a regular patient due to ops on his leg. Very welcoming and the two vets we see, Shane and Andras are perfect with him. He is a nervous little thing and they know exactly how to approach and calm him. I regularly recommend them to people as i have nothing bad to say about this Veterinary practice

Changed vets from companion care. Took my new rescue wcs who is super scared of everything for a first visit. OMG amazing!! Sat on the floor with my super scared dog. Took plenty of time. Genuinely cared. Wish I had taken her name. Will next time ❤️

3 weeks ago I had to make the hard decision to have my beloved cat Lilly put to sleep she was with me for 17years and to say I was heartbroken 💔 is an understatement. The staff at this surgery were so professional,caring, and respectful to both myself and to Lilly at this extremely difficult time, The vet Darcey stood back and bowed his head after Lillys heart stopped beating showing his respect for us both at this sad time. I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to you all keep up the fantastic job you do,Lilly is back home with me now forever.

The nurse explained exactly what would happen before, during and after Rubys surgery. I told her that I really wasn’t sure about her having the surgery and I definitely didn’t feel pressured one way or another. The nurse explained everything in detail and put my mind at ease.

Wonderful people.. They were very kind and patient with me for what was a very hard day saying goodbye to my long time friend. We felt cared for and well looked after. My 💖 was truly happy when I left. Also they sent me a card with her paw print as a keep sake. I could not recommend them enough they truly are lovely kind people.

I've been with Gregg and his team for a while now, I have never found a vet that care as much as they do and give such a personalised service. When our old boy passed away last year they truly looked after us during a time of immense grief. I couldn't recommend them more!

Where do I start….. My bunny very suddenly become sick and being new to the area, I hadn’t had the chance to get them registered anywhere. I gave them a call as soon as I noticed to ask for some advice and was told to bring her in straight away whilst they were able to register me over the phone. Got there about an hour later and was seen straight away. The vet(didn’t catch his name) noticed straight away that something wasn’t right and swiftly took her for oxygen and assessment. Unfortunately, the team were unable to provide a diagnosis as it seemed whatever was wrong was pretty complex but I was provided with multiple options on how I wished to go on. Sadly, my conkers was getting poorer by the minute on the table and we all agreed in her best interests, it was time for her to go to bunny heaven. My review may seem like a bit of a story but I just wanted to explain on how such a distressing situation for us, the team treated us and my bunny with such care and compassion compared to other vets i’ve experienced in the past. We weren’t treated like money paying customers but more of a member of their family which was a huge relief to us as this was our first pet we have had to go through this with and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support. If you are doing your research or looking for a new vet then you need to come here! ❤️

Harbour vets are a very good practice. The staff are caring. They really looked after us , they saw our cat the same day we called. The prices are very competitive. The vet was brilliant and the lady on reception was delightful. Can't say enough about them.

I had my beautiful jack put to sleep there all the staff are so caring towards me and my dog I was in bits and they kept reassuring me that they will take care of him and he is safe they went above and beyond. THANK YOU.

On site parking, easy access, within village shops, Very friendly and supportive staff. Appointments easy to book and reminders received. My pet and I are made to feel welcome and valued. My pet is well cared for and I always feel the best options and solutions are offered. Nurses and vets always answer queries clearly and no question is a silly question. It is clear how much they love animals. As a member of the Healthy Pet Club I receive absolute value for money. Nothing is too much trouble.

Recently had to bring my 22 year old cat in for an emergency appointment, due to her not eating and having trouble walking. We unfortunately had to have her put to sleep, but the vet (I believe her name was Amy) was very empathetic, reassured us that it was quick and painless, and talked us through exactly what would happen. It was a very hard thing to do, but the whole team did their best to make it easier. Thank you again.

Caring staff put my little Frenchie back to rights today when her paw ballooned up & was very badly inflamed for some unknown reason. They were very good with her & she was happily walking around before we even left tbe surgery after the injections she was given. Im very pleased .

Very pleased with the way Blue was treated. He was very grumpy with them and they weren't phased atall even though he was growing all the time they were trying to talk to him. He doesn't like the vet's. Don't know why because they are so nice to him.

Brilliant vets, i have problems with my older cat. She HATES the vets and turns from a passive cat to a tasmanian devil! They sorted her completely! Phew!! My new kitten Alice, my little pocket rocket is actually totally fine going to the vets. Easy! All made good by a very good and homely vets! Thank you. X

Genuinely can't fault anyone in here! They went above and beyond for me and my little kitten frankie, who had to have his leg amputated on christmas eve! I can't recommend them enough, everyone in the practice has made me feel comfortable in this awful situation and guided me and frank though this hard time 🙂 big shout out to the young receptionist (sorry I don't know your name) and the vets Katie and Alex! These guys are exceptional. I have never met more friendly veterinary surgery as this one. When my blind beautiful princess Bubba died of cancer they were the cheapest for the cremation and went above and beyond to make the whole process very endearing for me. I would highly recommend these vets and the receptionist team are also exceptional and very friendly.

Highly recommend Neighbourhood Vets, had nothing but positive experiences with them. One of my dogs had a bad experience at a different vet practice which left him very nervous and anxious of the vets. Hayley and Tiff were amazing to help build Kobe’s trust, we visited them a couple of times a week for a few weeks and they let us get Kobe comfortable with the team and the surroundings. They gave him treats and let him inspect the room where he had his appointments, by the time he was booked in for his castration he was happy to see all of the team and I had no anxiety leaving him there at all. They did everything to make Kobe and myself feel comfortable and cannot thank them enough! I highly recommend, especially if you have a nervous/reactive dog!

Another fantastic service from Purbrook vets. Made a call this morning as my Frankies ears were playing up and needed his cytopoint injection. Explained I didn't want him to be distressed over the weekend, they were pushed for appointments but said come in half an hour and we will see him. Can always trust Purbrook vets to take care of my boy 💙 Thank you so much 🙂

Geoff of Purbrook Vets, is nothing less than awesome. He is the most caring, thoughtful person you could ever want to care for your pet. When our cat Radar died, Geoff sent us a condolence card and a paw print from Radar too, Geoff used to call him scrapper. We are now waiting for the day, our Dog Ruby, who has known Geoff all her life, has an operation on her leg. We trust the Doc wholeheartedly, and wouldn't take our pets to any other Vet. Not only is Geoff an amazing Vet, he is a very funny bloke along with it. Geoff even stitched up my Chickens neck after Ruby attacked her, Ruby was then known as the Chook killer by the Doc. Thank you for looking after our family Geoff, you're a Star. The newest addition to our Home is Thorn (pictured), a little Barrel of Monkeys. Of course, we won't trust any other Vet with our Pets. Thorn had his first Puppy check and Jabs, as Usual, Doc was awesome with him, told us Thorn has the Smarts. We have set up the Pet Plan now too, saves a lot of Money in the long run, but no pressure, we decided to do it off our own backs. No doubt, there will be many more visits to the Doc in the in years to come. We have every confidence in his work and his advise. Thanks again Doc. Bill, Sharon, (Ruby Deceased) & (Radar Deceased) and now Thorn.

Geoff is a fantastic, knowledgeable and most importantly HONEST vet and has always given our pets the best care possible. We’ve sadly lost our dog, cat and hamster since using this veterinary practice over the years but they’ve been so caring and gentle right to the very end of our pets lives and always so reassuring. It’s hard to trust vets these days but Geoff and the rest of the team are brilliant at what they do and it’s rare to find a practice like this one. Can’t thank Geoff enough for all of the help, knowledge and care that he’s provided to us as a family over the years with our animals. We would never go anywhere else with our pets.

I rang today for an appointment to have one of my cats put to sleep. As awful as the situation was, I really cannot impress just how great their service was. They were all amazing from the start, from booking in, to going through the process of euthanasia. Such a wonderful set up, such wonderful staff. Sorry, the only one whose name I remember is Ali, the vet. He was lovely. I cannot recommend this vets enough. A very positive experience from a horrid situation. Thank you all so very very much.

My dog developed painful pancreatitis and all I can say that his treatment was outstanding. He was seen immediately with much care and compassion. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. 🙂
