Have used brook vets for 13 years and wouldnt think of going anywhere else as jim and the nurses have always been great. You can tell they love the animals and always do their best for them.they have treated both our beautiful cats.manuka and now maya.😻

We've been taking our cats to Jim for about 15 years and every trip has been great. They take the time to talk to you about your pet and discuss options. Colin (cat) is very anxious and I think has tried to bite staff due to pain from a bite, but they are always very calm and patient with him. Colin is a very good judge of character. The only issue is accessibility as a wheelchair user, but staff come down to collect the cats from the car park for me.

Been using Brooks vets for 16yrs and always been very happy with them, the staff are lovely and Jim the vet is very professional. I recently had to have my beloved dog put to sleep after 17yrs Jim and his staff were amazing at a difficult time

We have been with Brook Vets for many years and would highly recommend them for a professional and reasonably priced service. I can't thank Jim Shaw enough for being there for our cat (Squidge). We went to here with our dog as she wasn't eating. We seen Angelica the vet who was wonderful with our little dog gave our dog a injection and medication. Could see our dog liked her. This isn't the first time here with our dog over the years would highly recommend this place for your dog so caring people here and they want the best for your pet.

We took our chihuahua Miguel here as he had been quite unwell. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We were really quick to be seen and diagnosed, and our dog was kept in for 2 days on a drip. We were so worried about him but our vet Angelika was so good with him and we could tell he was being well looked after. Best vet I’ve been too.

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. We brought our lovely 16 year old girl Poppy here after deliberating and dreading having to have her put to sleep. I spoke to James the vet who was really reassuring on the phone. Once we got there Pops perked up (as she loved the shop) James said it was up to us whether to go ahead. He said to take our time and that he'd wait absolutely as long as we needed. He gave us advice when we asked for it and told us reasons why it was likely she was in pain with arthritis etc. even though she didn't make any sounds or fuss. He gave Poppy the box of treats to help herself to and I decided that as she was actually happy and not in major distress- it was the kindest time for her. James was incredibly kind - He put the canula in her leg then let us take her round the shop for one last happy trip (off the lead and everything as she couldn't really run off) when she finally went to sleep she was still munching on treats and we were cuddling her and saying love and thanks to her. James left us for as long as we needed and then covered her in a lovely blanket. Following on from this - when I collected Pop's ashes and even later when I had to deal with insurance etc. all the staff (particularly Samantha) were so kind, thoughtful and efficient. Not to mention the handwritten card and packet of forget-me-not seeds. I hope I have remembered everyone's names right. I cannot rate our experience of this practice highly enough. Thank you xx

Thank you so much for looking after Mabel today for her op. Lovely caring team and service. Thank you to Daniel, he really knows what he's talking about and really cares for the pets he sees. I totally trusted Mabel with him today and I don't trust very many people with her. We have been using Southfields for all of our pets over the years and they have always been so caring and friendly, so thank you from all of them past and present.

I took my beloved cat into Southfields last Wednesday the 8th, thinking she was a bit under the weather. Sadly she had to be admitted to Woodcroft as she was seriously ill. Once again Southfields were amazing, the live, care and compassion as well as expertise they offer is second the none.

This practice really cares. From the moment they answer the phone until your pet is comfortable, they are incredible. I have had such great attention to detail from the vets here, several times. They always make an appointment available in emergencies and from previous and current experience, the vets are proactive and listen to your concerns. Recommend highly.

Lovely vets. Staff always friendly with my dog, they treat her like she's a member if family my dog loves visiting them even if its just to say hello as she goes past on a walk. Would recommend this practice to anyone.

I would like to thank all the people who helped my beautiful betsy get her wings its 3 moths since she passed over the rainbow and it still hurts but the ladies were absolutley brilliant with her and passed away with dignity also they were very very helpful with the after care so thanks ladies a credit to your job from andy and betsy xx

My 11 year old JR Finn has received excellent care. 4 stars is only because we tend to see a different vet every time. I'm quite keen on continuity of care.

Called into the vets with my dog very worried I was welcomed with a smile. Didnt wait long and was brought through by the vet who straight away made me feel at ease and loose my fear. She handled my baby with care and treated her and fingers crossed it’s like a miracle has happened. Thank you so much highly recommend fantastic vets.

Amazing practice, professional vets who genuinely care for your pet, explain everything in a way non-vet people understand and all the staff are kind and friendly and help to make what can be a traumatic experience for both pet and owner a lot calmer! There's also a little car park, which is so helpful being on a busy main road, and a separate dog and cat waiting area, fantastic for nervous scaredy cats who don't enjoy vets or dogs. I would definitely recommend this practice as staff who care for the pet and the parent!

Absolutely fab vet clinic, another big shoutout to Jenny the vet nurse, you really do put our dog at ease so thank you. Hugo gets loads of fuss whilst having his jab every 5 weeks. Thanks to the lovely staff here he’s like a whole new dog - 10 years young!

I called with a concern regarding my cat and was dealt with very empathically and was seen very quickly. The waiting room is lovely and split into dog and cat waiting with blankets to put over your cats carrier to help them feel safe. Vet was knowledgeable and efficient. Lovely reception staff. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Lovely staff and place.

Went in for our dog to have her injections and kennel cough. Normally she is a nightmare at the vets and constantly pulls away. The vet today was called Gareth, he was amazing with her, she was so relaxed around him that he had no trouble giving her the treatments, she just sat calmly in front of him as he did them

Had an emergency with our Cocker Spaniel Bella last night, (22nd December) she was chocking on a chewy stick. In the car we thought we were losing her. I cannot tell you the panic we had. We were met with 3 lovely, calm members of staff who saw to Bella immediately and knew exactly what to do. Within a few minutes Bella was back to her normal, happy self. I cannot praise or thank the staff enough for saving our girl . Our family, including Bella wish you all a wonderful Christmas. 🐾🐾❤️

I have had to bring two of my dogs here for specialist treatment and the care and compassion from everyone was amazing. Alex is doing a great job of looking after our dog Maisy. I know she has her best interests at heart and will help her as much as she can. It’s so reassuring when your pet is unwell that there are people who will go above and beyond to help them. After moving house and changing vets they found a heart murmur which needed immediate treatment. We were referred to Woodcroft for this, I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews on Google but I needn’t have been. Our appointment was with Zuzi and she explained everything in detail and took excellent care of teddy. She rang with updates and has stayed in touch to see how he is getting on. Excellent service and would recommend. Yes it’s very expensive but that’s the same across the board for most veterinary services.

Our dog spent 3 nights at Woodcroft recovering from surgery and acute pancreatitis. The staff here are wonderful. Everyone we spoke to both in person and over the phone was kind, empathetic and patient. The care our dog recieved was first class and we recieved regular communication about his condition, which was very reassuring during a stressful time. Thank you so much for you all your hard work.

Although he couldn't be saved as he had been knocked down, early yesterday morning, after calling in in an emergency you guys took over and went to aid him straight away, and did everything you could !! We brought our moggy Kimi in on Monday, for what we knew was to be a final visit. She was 20.5 years old and had been on a downward path in the recent years / months. The last few weeks were looking bleaker and over the weekend she deteriorated very quickly until she didn’t want to do anything and seemed to be in pain. On arrival we were looked after by Pola and Katie who realised the situation very quickly and were so kind and considerate to us. They said they would organise a canular to be inserted so they could administer the required injection, but Kimi passed away before they could. I guess the upheaval of the ‘trip to the vets’ (which she always hated, in her youth) and everything was just to much and she couldn’t hang on any longer. We were given some ‘clippings’ of Kimi’s fur etc in a little glass vile, to keep as a remembrance and we said we wanted to take her home to be buried in our garden, along with her mum and son. My wife went to the desk to pay for the visit, but was told there would be no charge. Although this is not a ‘money thing’ we found this to be over and above what we might expect and a lovely gesture. We left with Kimi wrapped in a towel and were finally given a condolence card, signed ‘all our love, Yew Tree Vets’, which again was such a nice thing for you to have done. We have used your surgery for all 3 of our cats over a number of years and have always been very happy with the service we have received, but yesterday’s visit left us feeling so heart warmed that you all can care so much for pets and owners alike. Thanks for all your efforts over the years.

I am so pleased with every part of service and care from Yew Tree Vets. Having only ever been in and out for immunisations in the past, i have just endured frequent visits over the past 9 weeks receiving treatment for an ocular tear with my dog Louie. Me and louie received excellent care and advice. They were also lenient and supportive when i was worried about deterioration finding me a same day appointment and were very empathetic.
