The staff at Briar Dawn are truly amazing. The receptionists are beyond lovely; they always make you feel welcome and make a fuss of your loved ones. I visited regularly with my dog Star, and I truly believe the staff who knew her cared for her just as much as I did; they were always so amazing with her. Our vet, who saw Star regularly, would always ask how my rabbits were getting along, which shows what a caring and special person she truly is ❤️When the time came to say goodbye to Star, she gave us plenty of time to say goodbye, and I feel so fortunate that we were able to have a positive experience during such a difficult time. Thank you for the amazing work you all do at Briar Dawn.

Wow what a vets! From the friendly reception staff to the incredible vets I'm so glad I transferred my pets over. Rebecca was a lovely friendly vet she booked my dog in for sedation and minor surgery. James then treated my dog under sedation the next day and I have never ever had such a top quality service from a vet like that who explained everything and was so patient with me. Thank you so much! My cat who is nervous unfortunately had to have some dental procedures done, we received detailed information, explanation and quotation for the procedures and the team were brilliant with her. She came home with her meds and with a bravery certificate and stickers 😆. The reception team are brilliant even when it's particularly busy and they're under pressure. We also received a reassurance call on the day as to how cat was doing and what time to collect her. The discharge appointment was thorough and we were given full aftercare instructions. Thanks for all your help.

Had to have my cat Fergus put down here the other day, they made the experience go very smoothly and such nice people. I would recommend these vets to anyone. Good prices too.

She made me feel at ease because I get so worked up because my cat doesn’t like going and getting her treatments. Another big thank you to all the staff, you all do a great job! Fantastic surgery, my partner took our beloved boy Percy here yesterday for an emergency visit due to a hole in his chest area, from the moment they walked in they were greeted by a lovely women on reception who automatically made them feel safe and secure, and the vet was fantastic, we were really scared that yesterday was going to be Percy’s last day but it wasn’t and that is thanks to the amazing team here at Wendy’s vets Heywood, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly / caring vets please use Wendy’s as it seems to be one off very few who care about the animals from The moment you walk in so thank you again we appreciate everything you did 🙏

Swapped to this vets with my dog over 5 years ago and so glad we did. Being an elderly dog we've had a few health concerns over the years. The staff have always been great, getting her in quickly when needed and being patient with her. They were always upfront and honest and didn't make her go through any unnecessary treatment. Unfortunately we had say goodbye to her recently, again the vet who we saw and the staff were fantastic. Even though it was booked as a routine appointment they didn't rush us and gave us all the time we needed to make a decision and say goodbye.

I cannot recommend this vets enough. Since getting Humphrey as a pup as a first time dog owner and our pretty regular visits 🙈, the whole team including at the reception and pharmacy have been nothing but helpful, caring, loving and understanding in whatever circumstances or situations were there for this time🤣🥲The online chat feature is brilliant as I was able to send photos of issues enabling an appointment quick time and seen within a couple of hours. Its the only vets I've heard of amongst friends that don't charge per appointment which has saved me a fortune!! Nothing is too much trouble, we love the team there and how amazing they are with him 🫶🏻

The best veterinary practice around. If you want a vet that puts your fur babies first, then this is the place to go. The reception and pharmacy staff do an amazing job, always going above and beyond to help. They too are all caring animal loving people. So expect your pet to be stroked and fussed over. I lost my boy Diego last year to Heart failure and all the way through his illness, I was given support and most of all understanding.Thanks to Guilia (vet) I was able to have several months more with Diego. Megan (Reception) is amazing, when I lost my Diego, she totally understood my heartbreak and walked with me every step of the way. The empathy and understanding she shown, will never be forgotten, she’s a real Gem. I still attend here with my other dog and I know he is in safe hands, I highly recommend it to everyone I meet. I’ve finally found a place where…The animal comes first before money! The only issue I have is the parking. It can sometimes get a little overcrowded, but since they installed the number plate booking in service, it seems to have improved slightly. This is no reflection of the actual service you receive.

I can't recommend Animal Trust Failsworth enough! It felt perfect from the start. The receptionist was very friendly and totally calmed me down. Tasha, the nurse who saw Penny, was amazing, so caring and professional; you could tell she loved animals. She made sure Penny was comfortable and well cared for. What I love is that it's a non-profit that truly prioritises the animals first. The care is awesome, the prices are fair, and the staff go above and beyond. They're honest and upfront, making sure the pets get exactly what they need without pushing extra stuff. The service from everyone was top-notch. I'm thrilled with how Penny was treated, and we'll totally be back. If you want a vets that genuinely cares, this is the place!

My little furbaby, has had 2 appointments here one for a check up and one to be spayed, the woman who saw her for the check up was lovely, very informative and answered any questions I had without hesitation and didn't make me feel I was being an inconvenience with all the questions unlike when I've been elsewhere. When she had her op, the woman who brought her out was really lovely, gave me all the information and the pack they send you home with, I like that they get you to send them a pic a couple of days after the op and ring you to let you know what they think. They are a little pricey but you do get quality service.

I had to make a very tough, yet right decision for my beautiful 19 year old girl, Tammy yesterday. On ringing the Vets, they fitted Tammy in at short notice and were very accommodating and caring. Not only did we get offered a consultation room for privacy on arrival but the Vet (Miriam) was extremely patient, calm and kind. A very difficult time but a huge thank you for everything yesterday.

These people really care for your pet! It’s a simple as that! My dog is so nervous and hates anyone examining her to the point one vet elsewhere said they would have to sedate her to examine her anyway…. She has allowed all the ladies here to examine her mouth, shave her, take blood and give her 4 separate injection…. Animals do sense when people care! Happy to say my little Tina is on the mend and at the ripe age of 14 we thought that she wouldn’t come out of this with a happy ending so thank you! I will add these do not charge the earth in fact I thought I was under charged until I saw the break down bill! Just amazing all round! 🐶

This place has been fantastic staff amazing couldn’t of taken my dog to a better vets. She’s on the mend. Thanks great prices on treatment but would give my arm and leg for my dog but this place doesn’t charge that.

Amazing place, well organised, extremely clean and well structured. The staff was very friendly and impeccable. They helped right away. I intend to have pets for the kids in the near future and now I know the vet I’m taking the pets for routine and vaccinations. Great place. I was surprised to have such a great vet near my home.

Professional and caring, depending on the day sometimes the wait was short and other times you just need to be patient the vets are doing their best. Leave a donation because they absolutely deserve it.

They were fantastic with me and my little kitten Millie. Millie was so relaxed with the vet and didn't make a sound when she had her injection. She was taken from her Mommy far to young so I have been bottle feeding her. She had her 1st injection today and was such a brave little soldier. She has brought so much joy to my life as I know I have to hers too.

What can I say other than what a fantastic team. Our dog Lucy had to have cruciate surgery. From being referred to leaving today every person has been so good kind and helpful. From Amy calling initially and putting our minds at rest to Andrew explaining everything pre op and post op and his skill doing the op. The two ladies on reception who greeted us and dealt with insurance payments and general care again making us feel at ease everything done in our time never pushed. We still have a long way to go recovery wise for Lucy but she's had the best care possible. Thank you again to Andrew and the team.

Our 4 year old border collie contracted tetanus and on the advice of our local vet we took him to Vet’s Now in Manchester as he required 24 hour care. Treatment ended up taking 2 weeks during which time the staff were amazing, keeping us updated about his progress. We would recommend it to anyone requiring specialist care for their pet.

Cannot thank the staff enough for the care received today. Our cat Hope was transferred from our usual vets after being hit by a car. Thanks to you amazing people, she is on the mend and resting at home. It’s been a traumatic day but you guys have made us feel reassured and kept us informed throughout.

Referred by our vet for investigations for our dog. From start to finish everything was perfect, staff on reception warm and welcoming. Consulting vet James explained everything he was doing and showed a great deal of empathy towards us. He was lovely with our dog Brodie. He has continued to keep us updated. Perfect service at such a difficult time for us

My dogs have been going to Ashton since puppies and are now 8. We have found the team at Ashton to be caring, friendly and nothing has ever been too much trouble. We have received help and advice when needed. We have just gone through a trauma with one of our dogs and Ashton took the stress away of dealing with paperwork, so we could concentrate on the recovery of our furbaby.

Very friendly and reliable service. Went in to book my kitten in and received an appointment the day after. Was kept up to date with a text to confirm appointment. Friendly welcome on the day and lovely vet who tended to my kittens first vaccination and flea treatment. Excellent service.

We came to this vets today after we’d noticed something wasn’t right with a cat we’d adopted. I can honestly say the staff were amazing. Today has been so difficult and life feels pretty cruel to have lost her this soon but the staff here went above and beyond. From the reception staff who were chatty and comforting whilst waiting to be seen, to the vet who looked after our little Luna and was so caring and understanding and also the vet nurse who took her paw prints and fur clippings. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you did today. I’m so pleased Luna was cared for by such lovely people.

All of the staff have always been very helpful and very caring whenever I have needed their help in sorting out my two little boys Baggie and Charlie (both rescue cats) whether it be for simple things like flea and worm treatments to matters of life and death situations. All pricing of treatments very reasonable.

As always with any vets, you need a 2nd mortgage but if needs must then this is the place to go. Really nice family friendly vets and looked after my frenchie every time we have gone. Customer service is quality

Have been regularly attending with my cat for last 3 years. Always receive good care. All colleagues polite and courteous. More competitively priced for than others in the area. Shame they dont open on Saturdays anymore.
