A list were great from start to finish! I had 6 different quotes and A list came in around midway on price. But, they stood out from the rest due to their professionalism, great communication by Dale and James and helpful manner to explain everything and get me booked in quickly. James and his team on the day were so friendly, efficient and hard working. Felt instantly comfortable with these guys and didn’t feel I was being ripped off as I have felt with the usual builder jargon. James recorded the work as he went and showed me the stages as it progressed. I am absolutely 💯 happy to recommend A List and can’t rate them highly enough. I contacted A List as I had a number of broken slates on the roof of my extension. Speed of response and communication were very good - Dale arranged a visit within a couple of days and provided me with a quote the following morning. After discussion, I opted to replace all of the slates rather than just the badly broken ones as Dale explained the cost would be similar. James then came to carry out the work - he was happy to do this when I wasn't at home, which was a big help as I didn't need to take time off work. I was really happy with the end result, which was very neat and well-matched to my neighbour's adjoining property and in keeping with the character of the house. More importantly, it kept us dry during the prolonged, torrential rain that followed a couple of days later! Dale and James were both friendly and polite and I'd be very happy to use A List again.

Roof Repair: Dale was very active in quoting and ensuring they understood what I needed done and James and his team were very good on site and making sure that I was happy with their work. Despite it taking longer than they initially thought they stuck to their quote and helped by being flexible whilst other contractors were on site. I would recommend and will certainly use them for any other roofing work in the future.

Dale is really a great guy and his work is of excellent quality. We felt like we could trust him from the very first minute when we met him. We all know how hard it is to choose a trader this day , who can you trust , how can you make a choice among all the traders available but go for Dale and his team you won’t be disappointed ! They are super efficient and they are really lovely and super polite , they will leave the place clean and tidy. Don’t hesitate !

James and Dale did a fantastic job for me. Started them off with a small job to try them out and ended up giving them 4 pitched and large flat roof sections to do on my extension.
