Paul and the team from platinum roofing replaced my mother-in-law's and my kitchen extensions roof. The original builder made a pig's ear of the roof, it started leaking after a couple of years. Before getting Platinum Roofing round, we got some roofers round from Checkatrade to repair the leaks in both properties, after spending thousands of pounds on both my mother-in-laws and my roof we decided to try a new roofing company. That's where Platinum Roofing came in. Paul was straight talking, he made it clear he didn't want to repair other people's dodgy work. He advised it would be better to replace the roofs on both properties and start from scratch, thus giving us a guarantee that there would be no more leaks. The work was carried out in a timely manner, the team were very professional, very polite, and more importantly, we've had no more leaks. Huge thanks to Paul and his team for the work on replacing our mid-terrace flat roof and skylights. After moving in and a few years of pushing the limits of our roof we finally decided to have it fully replaced and skylights installed. After speaking to our neighbours we contacted Paul who had carried out similar work at their property. One of the most professional services we’ve ever had. He was able to quote based on what he could see and airing on the side of caution, identify where extra issues may occur during the work with a total cost window to work with (final cost was under budget). The best approach was always going to be a full strip back to remove the years of patching up, so we were all happy with the work. Booking in the work we were given a date a couple of months ahead into the summer and a scaffolding date - all on time, to the day. Honestly never worked with a team that is so punctual and polite, even our neighbours commented how impressed they had been. Paul gave us updates at the beginning and end of the day of the work, and shared photos as they were doing it. Also checking in with us how we were coping with the level of work being carried out and any thoughts or concerns we may be having during the work. On completion, he shared records of everything that the team had done and the photos to accompany them. There’s a reason why Paul and his team is so highly regarded and it is definitely well deserved. We couldn’t have asked for anything more - and it definitely reassured us when having such extensive work done on our home.
