Can’t rate the team enough. Jess and Alicia are fantastic with my child and have brought together a fabulous support team in their tutors. My child has found both in centre and online to be really enjoyable, and she actually wants to do it. It’s really boosted her confidence in the areas she struggled with as well as encouraging her to push herself in areas she has already mastered.

I would highly recommend Armelle for French tutoring. She worked with my daughter weekly from the end of year 10 through to her GCSEs as she wanted help with her French Oral. My daughter got a grade 9 - her french improved so much in all areas and the confidence Armelle gave her was amazing. Each lesson was focus and structured with homework set to assist learning. Armelle did a few lessons with me over summer to keep my skills up (focus grammar + translation) and to help improve my predicted grade. I got a predicted grade of A. She is very friendly and sets useful homework tasks between lessons.

Armelle is a wonderful French teacher who taught my daughter for her GCSE. Within matter of few lessons Ami progressed so much. Ami felt confident in listening and writing aspect of French. All credit goes to Armelle! Armelle made lessons very interesting, encouraging Ami in her listening, writing reading. Ami enjoyed Armelle every lesson and was always looking forward to! Ami achieved grade 8 ( 1 mark short of grade 9) in GCSE 23 due to superb guidance by Armelle. I highly recommend Armelle as French Tutor. Thank you Armelle! Anna is an inspiring tutor, who has managed to engage my 17 year old son, to make him enthusiastic and look forward to his english tutoring lessons. Anna has helped my daughter with both her Maths and English GCSEs. She has given my daughter the confidence boost she needed to tackle both exams. My daughter didn’t complain about the tutoring sessions whereas she had in the past! A testament to Anna and how well she connected with her. Anna made the sessions engaging whilst making sure the necessary work was done. Anna was also flexible with the sessions so we easily found slots to suit us both. Basically Anna is an absolute gem!!

1 year ago my daughter was so far behind in her maths and english i thought i needed a miracle after help at her school was turned down i didnt no where to turn until i found kip on the internet. I didnt no what to expect so was very surprised to find my daughter loved it and for a very shy person that was amazing i knew then i had done the right thing. she has been attended kip since july 2012 and it has been the best thing i ever did she has gone from a very unsure, and shy person to someone who cant wait till her next lesson she has improved so much way above my expectations and will continue to go here for a very long time. She really could not have done it without all the help and support they offered.

Jan has been absolutely fantastic and finally my daughter at nearly 13 years old has been diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalculia. Jan worked with my daughter for 4 hours over two days and conducted the relevant testing. Jan explained everything thoroughly and clearly and both myself and my daughter were at ease the whole time. We have been lucky to find Jan and I am so happy that now we have answers. Without the help from Jan my daughter would not be diagnosed as unfortunately the schools don’t seem to do this so well. I highly recommend Jan at Southampton for diagnostic tests and tutoring. Thank you!

I highly recommend Wessex Tutors & Exam Center, and the Geography tutor Mrs. Gardiner and Maths Tutor Mr. Barber. The head of College Mrs. White and later Chris, are highly professional and very helpful in providing recommendations and suggestions in overall A level exams and preparations. The tutors ( Mrs. Gardiner and Mr. Barber) they matched with my son are of high quality, very patient and good at the subject. Mrs. Gardiner is such a nice, thoughtful and friendly tutor, which made the tuition a very enjoyable experience for my son. Our daughter Ellie moved to a 6th form college to study A level Biology where she was left to “self learn” complicated topics without support. We approached Wessex Tutors having been referred to them by a friend and we were matched with Helen. Helen is a hugely experienced Biology teacher, familiar with our daughter’s exam board and was therefore in a perfect position to fill in the gaps, she provided amazing support and much needed encouragement.
