Thanks to Paul and Christine at Better Tuition, my son passed the Trafford grammar school entrance test for all four Trafford Grammar Schools this year! The tutors provided excellent support and guidance throughout the two years he attended. Their teaching methods and understanding of the 11+ made all the difference. Highly recommend for anyone looking to prepare for the grammar school tests!

My daughter has been attending Chorlton Tuition Centre for the past 18 months. She had a lot of gaps in her learning following the pandemic/ lockdown and had lost a lot of confidence. Weekly tuition has really helped my daughter to catch up, and her confidence has grown. Charlotte is so lovely and patient, and my daughter really enjoys the sessions (she previously would do anything to avoid school work). We always get a handover from Charlotte at the end of the session so I know what my daughter has been working on and anything we as parents can do to help her at home. My daughter has been tutored by Good success since age 8 for 11plus , she passed with flying colours and got admission to Loreto Grammar school. And then continued her tutorials through high school until GCSE again passed with several A* and then for A levels and UCAT . I am very pleased to say this is the final journey and she has passed and got admission to study medicine at the university of Newcastle. The Support has been extremely great each step of the way . Good Success Private Tuition is the best private tuition you can think of in Manchester, we came from Nigeria in 2022 and while we were waiting for school placement we enrolled my daughters in this private tuition to get them prepared for UK curriculum, I can categorically say this move made a difference not only they were able to settle in school, the foundation from this school made a difference till date, we have been receiving positive feedback from their school's aside from being the best in their various classes the morals and path to life they teach the children makes a difference. My daughter attended the autumn creative writing workshop with Jo and really enjoyed it. Jo has a really lovely manner with the children and is able to impart invaluable information in a fun and interactive manner. My daughter has been sharing with me the different ways in which she now feels that she can be more creative with her stories. Chris is a great tutor for my daughter across various subjects. He is always very punctual, courteous, calm and has a good way to teach. He tailors his lesson to what is most important in each week.

I can’t recommend choice home tutoring enough. Jo is extremely professional, caring and amazing with what she does. She tailors her approach to each child, she genuinely cares about individual experiences and she’s also really fun to be around which makes a huge difference. She is incredibly knowledgeable about what a child needs and who they will work well with. I have nothing but brilliant things to say about choice home tutoring and it will be the best money you can invest in your child!

My son was tutored by Christopher for eight months prior to the eleven plus exam. He was able to consolidate his knowledge in both maths and English, and fill in any gaps in his learning needed for this exam. Christopher also helped with strategies for verbal and nonverbal reasoning. Hari attended the exam preparation sessions, mock exams and some of the essay writing workshops. I can’t recommend Christopher highly enough. Hari was offered a place at his first choice Grammar school and was offered an academic scholarship at his first choice independent school. My younger son, with a very different learning method is now being tutored by Christopher and is thriving in his lessons. We are currently having online lessons with Christopher which are working extremely well. There aren’t enough compliments for Rifat and her exceptional teaching skills. Her patience, perseverance and her obvious passion for teaching have transformed our son. He was taught English and Maths and there has been a phenomenal improvement in our son. There were times when he surprised both of us with his ability to solve difficult mathematical challenges using the skills he had been taught. He passed all of the independent school exams and we cannot thank Rifat enough for everything she has done over the last year.

We first approached Christopher in February/March this year. After an initial assessment, our daughter commenced weekly lessons with one of the tutors (Jeremy). Jeremy was very approachable, friendly and our daughter got on very well with him from the outset. Jeremy was very good at explaining things and when my daughter was uncertain, she never felt uncomfortable telling him that she did not understand. Jeremy provided lots of papers to assist my daughter in preparing for the 11 plus and even she has said that the mock test (arranged by them) was helpful as she definitely felt less nervous about the actual exam. We received our daughters results yesterday and we’re so pleased that she had passed and not only did she get the required score for the school we had hoped, she also gained a enough to be considered by Altrincham Grammar. We can’t thank Christopher and Jeremy enough for their help and support and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering putting their child in for the 11 plus :)
