I’m really impressed by the service from Ivy. From swiftly finding the right type of tutor for my 7 year old son to the monthly progress reports. Very well executed service for busy stressed parents sucked into the world of entrance exam prep. The tuition itself is also exceptional quickly transforming my reluctant reader/writer into a confident creative engaged young boy. I now feel calm but ambitious for my son. Highly recommend

My son got the offer from his 1st choice super selective grammar school, I’d like to give a huge thanks to his tutor, Dan. My son was below average in writing skills, speed and vocabulary before we approached Ivy for help in the January of Yr 5. After just a few months of tutoring with Dan, I could see his rapid improvement in writing. Dan taught creative writing in a disciplined and systematic way. He knew exactly how the examiners mark the answers, and how my son could get the highest scores in the English paper. Dan also helped my son’s other areas such as written comprehensions and VR. Oh I forgot to mention he had the sample papers of our target schools! When it came to my son’s real entrance exams in September, my son was fully prepared- not only he passed the exam of our 1st choice grammar school, he also passed all other exams we applied, and got full marks in some of them!

I enjoyed my meeting with Yusuf and can see potential in our work together on my PS. My only issue is that I think he is too focused on the philosophical side of PPE as he suggested I read another philosophy book for my PS when I already mentioned one. Especially since for one university I’m applying to economics and politics (bath) as it doesn’t have PPE. So therefore, I would prefer if my PS is more well-rounded of all three subjects.
