Chenali started tutoring my daughter in science as she was struggling to get to grips with it, in part having missed lessons for sport. She has made such a difference not just to her grades but to her approach to it. She skips off every week to see Chenali and comes back buzzing. She was even more buzzing when she saw her grades keep going up and up. She has learnt the best ways for her personally to learn and Chenali has made her realise it can be fun. I can’t thank her enough and neither can my daughter. She’s helping her with her maths too and even skills to support English learning and revision.

We approached Chenali primarily to help our daughter improve her study skills for GCSE’s, which were not always effective as she has dyslexia and slow processing, and also to fill any gaps with maths and science. Although she is conscientious, effective study had always been an uphill struggle for her. Chenali was able to suggest and advise on alternative methods that would work for her. Chenali provided invaluable support to our daughter, and her input enabled our daughter to maximise her potential. I have recommended Chenali to others and would not hesitate to recommend her again. In addition to being an excellent tutor she clearly cares about her students’ welfare.

Both of my children were tutored by Tulika, and both gained entrance to their first choice Grammar schools. Tulika is very encouraging and supportive and not once have we felt overwhelmed with any work or homework. The classes were thorough and productive and both my children learnt so much on this journey. We never felt afraid to ask questions because Tulika was always there if we needed support; the group environment was very good for both my kids too. Thank you Tulika!

The SR tuition was a highly effective tutoring class my son took and the course enabled him to get to grasp with all the topics needed for the 11 plus including : verbal and non verbal reasoning , comprehension, maths and creative writing.The class is held once a week in a group with other children and homework is given to be completed by the next lesson .In class each week a different topic is covered and then tests are given on this topic the following week . The tutor provides end of terms tests and detailed is given on your child’s progress . Overall the SR tuition allowed my son to get into some of the top private and grammar schools like KCS and Tiffin Boys and is a very effective 11+ exams training course.

I found Grove Tutors to be extremely helpful from first contacting them via the website through to the Tutoring. I contacted Grove Tutors in respect to GSCE Tutoring (various subjects) for a friends daughter. I received an email within 24hours of completing the online form asking the best time to call to discuss my needs. The call was very thorough and Nick spent time going through everything with me from the subjects requiring the tutoring, the areas needing help, grades trying to achieve, personality traits to match the best tutor to the student and also tried to gain an understanding of the student in general. I understood clearly from this call how the tutoring worked, the fee's involved and what Grove felt would be best suited, and felt reassured in having contacted them. The Tutoring helped the student with grades but also with much needed confidence. The Tutors who visited were well matched and not only helped achieve the grades required but were also encouraging and engaging in general which has been the much needed confidence boost we couldn't offer ourselves. We now have a much happier more self-assured Student looking forward to College! Kevin is an outstanding and naturally gifted tutor who was able to put my daughter at ease from the 1st lesson. He understands the teenage brain and works very well in nurturing his student with versatility and consideration of their current mindset. He has such a vast knowledge and currently, we are focussing on maths yet we could include the sciences, too, in the future, if necessary. Kevin gives such great tips that are current and helpful for exam revision. He is extremely talented and dedicated and it blows my mind how he brings out the best in my daughter’s attitude to learning with ease, which is not an easy task. Kavita Arif is an excellent Math teacher. She has been tutoring my son for a few weeks, and her teaching method is very interactive. She keeps her students engaged continuously and works them through any sticky patches they might encounter. She is brilliant, and I highly recommend her. Safiyyah is an excellent Biology, Chemistry and Geography teacher. She has extensive knowledge of her subjects and is gentle with her students, allowing them to be comfortable and grasp the subject matter she teaches. She is fantastic, and I wish she had taught more subjects.
