After being advised by a local primary school teacher in the North West of the UK, I contacted Owl Tutors for their services for my daughter as she had secondary school examinations. From the offset, it was clear that each of our goals were in synergy as they dealt with Gabrielle as an individual with her specific needs. They quickly matched her up with a tutor who, in a short period of time got my daughter up to the required standard to pass all 3 of her examinations. We came to Owl tutors asking a lot and they delivered in everyway possible. Natalie has been a brilliant maths tutor to our daughter over this academic year. Natalie has a very calm, warm manner and takes time to plan engaging and well-paced lessons. Natalie took time to set manageable homework tasks and gave helpful feedback on my daughter’s progress and areas to focus on. My daughter never complained about logging in to online lessons with Natalie and definitely benefitted from Natalie’s patience and interactive ideas. Natalie’s experience as a class teacher meant that I was confident that the lessons were focussed on the curriculum yet adapted to an appropriate level. I would definitely recommend Natalie!

Elizabeth (Lizzy) has been a wonderful support for our son who was really struggling in a traditional school setting. His confidence was low and desire to learn was adversely affected. Lizzy has brought him out of his shell, she is instantly engaging and has made learning fun and rewarding. Mr Patel of London Tutors is a born teacher. He brings his genuine self, drawing upon his own experiences, and blends them into engaging lessons that my son really enjoys. I would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to give their children a boost especially when prepping for 11+ or SATs, and beyond. In a phrase he instils "a love of learning" that would put any child in good stead.

Mr Patel taught my twins fairly late as we started 11plus preparations very late. His thoroughness about the topics, preparation before classes and accurate marking/feedback to kids after each class made it one of the most important factors in my kids success. They appeared in total of 7 comprehensive grammar school entrances and passed with flying colours in all of them. I would highly recommend Mr Patel as he not only takes personal mission in each child's success but also encourages kids to understand their own goal/dreams.

I am delighted that my son has been offered places in Merchant Taylor , St. Albans ( with academic scholarship) , John Lyon ( with academic scholarships) , Perse Cambridge and Upton Grammar school, Slough . I attended PrimeTutors while studying for my A-levels. They helped me gain confidence in the subjects I had studied and they provided lots of resources to guide me through studying my A-levels. Currently, I work at PrimeTutors and not only is it a great workplace but they also provide students excellent resources which follow the national curriculum. My siblings also attend Primetutors as students and their knowledge in their subjects have increased a lot since they joined, compared to the previous tuition centres they had attended. Kevin is an outstanding and naturally gifted tutor who was able to put my daughter at ease from the 1st lesson. He understands the teenage brain and works very well in nurturing his student with versatility and consideration of their current mindset. He has such a vast knowledge and currently, we are focussing on maths yet we could include the sciences, too, in the future, if necessary. Kevin gives such great tips that are current and helpful for exam revision. My son found Alun absolutely perfect for him, he enjoyed every session with him and usually came out with a smile on his face as he had learnt something new again. Kavita Arif is an excellent Math teacher. She has been tutoring my son for a few weeks, and her teaching method is very interactive. She keeps her students engaged continuously and works them through any sticky patches they might encounter. She is brilliant, and I highly recommend her. Safiyyah is an excellent Biology, Chemistry and Geography teacher. She has extensive knowledge of her subjects and is gentle with her students, allowing them to be comfortable and grasp the subject matter she teaches. She is fantastic, and I wish she had taught more subjects.

Marcus is an experienced and friendly private tutor who is able to give you genuine guidance on areas that your child needs improvement. We recently received the offer from our preferred school for the 11+ entrance. Without Marcus’ help this would certainly not be going to happen.

They are very well connected and the Kensington address helps with high calibre clientele. Their international work can be varied and payment issues are not unknown with some clients. However, their accounts team and management are very personable and genuinely act as agents for their tutors and clients rather than faceless middlemen adding little value. Sophie is excellent and comes at this from the background of tutoring herself so just gets it. Dion works very hard and is a very empathetic member of the team, understanding clients and tutors' perspectives very well.

Sara has been brilliant with Emily. Emily has always struggled with maths at school but Sara has taken her back to basics and is working her way through each topic, step by step, without making Emily "feel stupid" which is how she felt before. Our son has been working with Sarah for approximately 18 months now. Initially this was for 11+ prep but we have continued with his sessions post exams to prepare him for secondary school. We were delighted when he was offered a place at our first choice school recently and Sarah was an incredible support helping our son to get through the process. Our son loves his tutoring with Sarah. He is always happy to jump online for their calls and he really enjoys the time they spend together. Sarah has been amazing at building his confidence and working in a way that suits his learning style. She has developed a great rapport with him and been creative in the ways she has managed to get him to engage and learn.
