Giuliano helped me to achieve a grade A in maths A-Levels and I honestly could not have done it without his incredible support. He is super friendly and approachable. I always felt very comfortable to ask him to go over a question or topic that I didn't understand. He always explained key concepts very well, that had not been taught in school yet. This allowed me to get ahead and spend more time practicing exam questions rather than learning theory. As well as that he pushed me to become familiar with challenging questions so that questions in the actual exam did not seem daunting. Giuliano was always readily available. However, since starting with Thrive, which offers small group tutoring, I’ve seen my boys' confidence and competence in math and English grow significantly. They tailor classes to each child’s individual needs while linking that personalised learning to the group setting, making it adaptable for each child. My granddaughter has been attending Thrive for over a year and really enjoys learning there. Staff are very friendly and supportive and my granddaughter is making very good progress. Homework is set and assessed regularly with progress closely monitored. Management are very accommodating with individual learning and timetable requests. My granddaughter always looks forward to her lessons at Thrive which doesn’t surprise me given the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

My Learning Room is so much more than just a tutoring company! The one on one service is fantastic and the best experience I've encountered across the many tutoring companies we have tried (and not made much progress with). We were concerned about our son's progress at school and wanted to give him some extra help to ensure he can achieve his potential and open a few doors. My Learning room has been very effective with my son and his additional learning for GSCE maths. The process was friendly and easily set up. Amer at Learning room spoke with me and after giving details of my son, his personality and requirements she set up a 10 minute teams call with a tutor she felt would work best with my son. I must say the paring of the tutor Leo and my son was spot on, Leo has done an amazing job so far, my son enjoys his learning, feels more confident and also finds Leo explains the work and math questions in a much more effective way that it is more easily absorbed. My son has already increased his mock grade in a short period of time. I would highly recommend My Learning room and also must add it is a service that is affordable.

I searched for a tutor and found Amer for some help with my daughters eleven plus. She worked with my daughter weekly and was able to find holes in her existing knowledge that she filled to enable my daughter to pass her eleven plus with flying colours. Amer has a very nurturing way and my daughter found they was she taught easy to easy to understand and the weekly homework allowed her to progress even further. I wrote my A-Levels at AEC and had a smooth experience. The staff were helpful throughout the entire process, from registration to the exam day itself. Checking in was straightforward, and they were always available to answer any questions. The facilities were decent, and the exam environment was quiet and well-managed, which made it easier to stay focused. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’d recommend this centre to others.

Wonderful exam centre, the staff were always calm and friendly which makes a big difference as naturally all students are at least a little stressed on exam days. The room I did my exams in was also relatively small, which makes things feel far less overwhelming than being in a giant exam hall. Prices were also better than other exam centres in the area, and they offered group discounts to my class. There's a bus stop very close by so I could easily travel on my own to get there - they didn't mind me arriving about an hour early for each exam as I was worried about bus delays 😆. In addition, they have also waited in the past if a student was late, so they can complete their exam in the full time that's allowed. Overall a great place to do your exams, I'd recommend it to anyone 👍

Amazing service and support! Last year, I booked my A-level exams with AEC Tutors and sat the exams this summer and I couldn't be happier with the whole process and staff. From the booking process all the way to sitting the actual exams, I received help and guidance for everything that I needed to know prior to my exams and every question I had was answered in very little time. We have worked in collaboration with Manning's Tutors as part of the Schools Covid Recovery Strategy for the past 4 years. We originally began using government funding through the National Tutoring Programme to support students who had been most affected by the Pandemic. This was meant to be a short term solution. However, the results of 1:1 and small group tutoring have been very strong and we have continued to support students from a range of backgrounds and demographics to close the attainment gap in Maths, English and Science.
