On a number of occasions I have handed a student on to Barney after I supported their GCSE studies, and they have done A level with him. They have all been very happy with him and successful in their aims. Barney is an exceptional Maths tutor, with great technical skills and knowledge, huge enthusiasm, warmth, humour and integrity.

Barney is an excellent maths tutor. He is very knowledgeable and can answer and explain any question straight away. He is very organised knows the syllabus and how to attack it. He is also very patient and able to motivate his students. We were lucky enough to have Barney tutor my daughter with her A Level maths which we are both very grateful to him for all his help.

Barney has been tutoring my son for Math’s GCSE. He’s far and away the best tutor we’ve seen. He knows his subject matter intimately. He is very organised, a good communicator and 100% reliable. Barney has been an incredible tutor over the past year! During my A-Levels he has helped me to achieve a grade A in Maths and as a result I am now studying at Exeter University. One thing that separated him from other tutors which helped immensely, was his his willingness to help outside of our tutor hour. Christoph has been helping my twins since September 2023, after trying an online maths tutor that would frequently cancel at short notice. Christoph has really engaged well with the twins, and although both of them struggle with maths, they find his help and direction invaluable. Christoph has also been extremely supportive to us as parents, in navigating any issues with schools and GCSE's.

Its great to have lessons and conversations with a native German speaker. The German study group is great fun and a lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in which to learn from Christoph and the other members. I also have a private lesson to work on my speaking and listening skills. Its certainly helps when I visit Germany. Christoph are Gaby are great hosts for their German breakfast gatherings which I highly recommend.

I have been looking for a long time for somewhere to learn German where I feel encouraged, relaxed and able to make mistakes without judgement. Gemma has been working with our 10YO ahead of her 11 plus. Our daughter struggles with holding her attention on tasks and is a little dyspraxic. I had never heard of 11 plus before speaking to a very friendly gentleman named Peter. My son gets extremely anxious around change and wanted to sit the 11 plus but was late to the party. I contacted Anne around 6 months before the GCSE exams. Anne gladly accommodated my twin daughters together in one session and nearer to exam time, at our request, individually. Both my girls lacked confidence in Maths and needed a boost to help improve their borderline grades. I must say that booking mock tests and study sessions with Kingsbury education to help my daughter pass the 11+ was one of the best investments I’ve ever made. Not only she got a very solid passing grade but she also got 100% on the English test, which is amazing, especially considering she is not a native English speaker. We used Kingsbury for our daughter to prep for the Bournemouth Grammar School 11+ entrance test. We used every aspect of their services including free parents evening (well worth it!), weekly hour-long hub tuition, weekly online sub-club for homework, intensive coaching holiday sessions and mock exams. It was all excellent and taught in a group format, which our daughter enjoyed as it’s nice to be surrounded by peers striving for the same thing. I think the most valuable thing was the intensive coaching and mock exams. They go hand in hand during the holidays and it’s worth doing the mock exam on the Saturday and the intensive coaching on the Sunday as Pete and Franny often pick out things that were tricky from the day before! Our daughter met the Parkstone criteria but didn’t quite reach the Bournemouth criteria however we couldn’t be prouder and Kingsbury really helped her on her way. She’ll now have a lovely head start going into any secondary school and it’s built her confidence too. Thanks Pete & Franny!

Kingsbury Education are superb! Their 11 plus hubs cover everything the children need to know, and more, and are well structured. The 11 plus mocks are great preparation and provide detailed feedback which allows you to focus on your child's weak areas. The 11 plus intensive coaching sessions are great as they can drill down into trickier areas and provide further helpful tips. All of these sessions, together with the work you do at home will help your child to achieve the best score they can. I cannot recommend them enough!

My daughter attended the 11+ tutoring in year5, from the first day she loved the sessions.
