The Best Dentists in Elland, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom (2025)

Having shopped around I found that Dr B Hussain at West vale dental surgery provided short term orthodontics. Having discussed the options available to me we felt Quick Straight Teeth (QST) was best suited to me. We initially predicted 6-9 months but my treatment was completed in about 5! Really happy with my result. It was finished off with some tooth whitening and edge to edge composite bonding. Great at his job! Highly recommend!

Gave this practice a very negative review years back but it has improved so much in the last couple of years. Never waiting long for an appointment. My dentist treats me with care and kindness after I've had many traumatic experiences with other dentists. It really makes all the difference to the patient's to know we are in good hands, with clinicians we can trust so thank you so much to the dentist who works on the ground floor (sorry I forgot his name!). And to the nurses too!

Great Dentist practice. Receptionist is always very organised, polite and cheerful. Dr Ahmed is always professional and chatty to put you at ease. Treatment is always good and I never feel pressured to have a treatment, sometimes good advice is offered instead. The Dental nurses are also cheerful and supportive. Just a positive experience.

I’m sorry but the negative reviews on here are false, I have to say from the moment you walk in you are welcomed by the staff. Dr Ahmed is fantastic he makes me feel at ease as I’m a nervous wreck on my appointments. He’ll explain everything in great detail nothing is too much trouble. I had my wisdom teeth removed he did a great job no issues afterwards, he explained the after care process in detail nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend.

Brilliant dentist and staff! Dr Ahmed is exceptionally professional and passionate about patient care from my experience. I have suffered from a number of oral issues in the past and never been happy with the care I received but I am at ease after joining this practice a few months ago. Can not recommend enough!

Mrs Robinson was so fantastic with my little girl, putting her at ease and giving her confidence to sit in the chair on her own! We love the care we receive as a family from her and the team at Elland Smiles 🌟

Extremely happy!!! I took all my 4 children for a check up today, my children were very nervous and scared but Lena and Mandy made them feel at ease and were absolutely brilliant with them. The dentist was very helpful and explained in detail to my 9 year old daughter why she isn’t able to have her braces just yet due to her still having some baby teeth. My daughter felt really reassured as she has been really struggling the past few months and her confidence level was very low due to how her teeth look. The dentist together with the nurse told my 9 year old daughter she is very beautiful and my daughter left feeling very confident. The treatment my children all got today was beyond amazing and I can’t thank Lena and Mandy enough. All my children left smiling today. I highly recommend this dentist practice as they are very compassionate, kind, caring, and professional. So happy my family are registered here. If I could give these ladies more than 5 stars then I would definitely be giving them a 100.

I have just been to the Spire for another pain relief injection in my foot from Mr Sturdee. I have had several previous and all have been very successful. Melissa the health care assistant and Nicola who does the X-Ray were both also really caring and proficient. I was also very impressed today about the speed of the whole process, in and out within half an hour.

Yesterday I attended the hospital for day surgery (hernia repair). The hospital was clean and clearly well maintained. All staff, including those I simply walked past on my way through the hospital smiled and greeted me. I was asked how I would like to be addressed and all of the procedures were explained clearly. Theatre staff were friendly, gentle and clear and nursing staff were also excellent. I was offered a choice of food and drinks, which was really well presented and tasty. I was given clear advice and information on post - operative care. Overall I feel that the service is exceptional.

I have had 3 procedures here. One private and 2 through the NHS. Each time I have been treat with care and dignity. The staff can't do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the operating team fantastic. I cannot recommend them enough
