We could not be any happier with the service and products (bespoke bench tops and fitting) from Carl. After being let down badly by another firm Carl came in a rectified a bad situation with professionalism, speed and high quality. We would highly recommend and will be asking him to do any future projects we may have.

We've been struggling off and on for a few years with coving that runs above some shelving either side of a chimney breast and eventually one section fell off completely. So we decided we had to resolve this once and for all, we'd seen some potential options online and started looking around for a suitable trade person to solve this problem. We eventually found Carl at Cookridge Carpentry and his response was prompt and positive. Following a couple of 'false starts' we finally hit on a solution that we could proceed with when he provided a rough dummy. Carl turned up when he said he would and grafted really hard to make sure we reached the result we were looking for. His work was very clean and tidy with little mess, which was surprising. He also spent plenty of time cleaning up after himself on both days. Both local and quality result... winner! We would have no hesitation in recommending Cookridge Carpentry for appropriate work, very professional throughout.

Dan did an incredible job installing our understairs shoe storage and bar—10 out of 10! His attention to detail was second to none, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even got on well with our cat, who constantly tried to "help" by getting in the way! After we painted the cupboards, Dan kindly popped back to fit the handles, which was much appreciated. We had five quotes for this job, and Dan delivered twice the work for half the price. Highly recommend!

Dan did such a fantastic job in our lounge, building us 2 beautiful alcove cupboards, 4 floating shelves and a superb fireplace surround and mantelpiece all in solid oak. We were so impressed that we also got him to make a bespoke unit for our vinyl and turntable.. Throughout the whole process, including navigating the covid lockdown, Dan gave us great ideas and guidance but really listened to what we wanted. He turned up when he said he would. He finished on time and was very competitively and fairly priced. Dan is also just a very nice guy who you feel confident about leaving in your house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan to any friends or family and cannot praise the quality and finish of his work highly enough.

Have been dying to write this review but wanted to add the pictures of what I knew would be an amazing job! We hired Bradley and his team to fit our new kitchen. Bradley came highly recommended from friends where he'd recently completed an excellent quality job. Right from the off Bradley was on hand to answer any questions and was very patient and understanding with my uncertainty and nerves, assuring me there was no such thing as a silly question when spending money on something big like a new kitchen. Brad and his team got the kitchen fitted in the super quick time of just over a week and a half, cleaning up each day before leaving. They also custom built a seating area with hidden storage and I really liked that they only work on one job at a time, not jumping from job to job and leaving you with half finished work. The attention to detail was amazing and they went above and beyond in the weeks before Christmas and worked around some unexpected issues when prep-ing the space. I was late ordering our flooring but Bradley fitted us in at short notice and has just been back (on a Saturday) to lay the floor and mount some custom shelves made from left over solid wood worktop. As with the main kitchen fit, the team cleaned and tidied up before leaving. I am over the moon with the finished kitchen, it has far exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bradley and the rest of the guys at Anderson Joinery Services!

Really impressed with Brad and his team creating our new (and very complicated) roof for wrap around extension! Quote was detailed with clear pricing, came and marked out positions for our builder, turned up when he said he would. When they were on site they were very polite and talked through what they would be doing each day. They did an amazing job and I would fully recommend!

We hired Brad and the team to re-design our downstairs space. We wanted to knock through the existing walls to extend our kitchen into some of the unused garage. This required structural steel work, rebuilding internal walls and fitting a new kitchen with all electrics and plumbing. From day one Brad was fantastic. It was a big decision for my wife and I to get a kitchen extension and we took a lot of time deciding who to use. When Adam from Feathered Edge came round to our house to discuss what could be done, he left us with a great first impression. Adam made a lot of promises which I'm sure anyone can do, however the job has been completed and not only did he deliver on every promise, his lads have done a better job than we could have ever dreamed of. Feathered Edge recently completed a side extension to our home. Adam promised the job would be completed in 12 weeks and it was completed two weeks early. We’ve used Sean and his team several times over the past few years. They are professional, honest, trustworthy, high quality, flexible, friendly and good value. I would strongly recommend them for any building work you may be thinking of, large or small. You’ll get a firm quote from the start, no ifs or buts and they have finished on schedule on budget every single time, as promised. You couldn’t ask for more .... and if you think this sounds unusually and exceptionally good for a building firm, you’d be right. That’s why he has a long waiting list for jobs (the only negative I can think of) so book him early!

Sean is a great worker, he is extremely skilled and looks at great ways to achieve sensational results. He is always on time, extremely tidy in his work and is happy to work around you. His main skill though is doing the job properly, he does not take any shortcuts and because of this his work will last for many years to come. I would have no doubts about recommending him for any household work in the future and am very happy to know such a great craftsman.

Tony fitted our kitchen a couple months ago and it's still my favourite room in the house. What we thought was a quick switcheroo when we bought our new home turned out to be a lot more work than planned. I am honestly still amazed at how much Tony did and how near and tidy his workmanship (especially considering he was flying solo). Excellent joinery - Tony built a toy storage book nook under our stairs, a bespoke fitted wardrobe and 3 floating shelves. The service was excellent, he created unique beautiful pieces with skill (especially in our uneven cottage) and he assembled and fitted them in just a few days. Friendly, professional. Paddy built a fitted tv unit and floating shelves for us and we are very happy with them! They look great and are very sturdy. He designed the tv unit to fit everything we had in our previous freestanding unit and so we could still access the plug sockets.
