ELB’s in-demand carpentry service is certainly worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with the work they have done installing new floating shelves and a built-in laundry unit. Through each stage of the process, Peter was excellent and extremely helpful, he visited our site and perfectly understood what we were aiming for, he provided a digital design sketch for the project and made multiple revisions and suggestions until we were happy with the final design. The fit and finish was perfect, he even spray painted the cabinets in the colours we had chosen and was able to fit everything in just one day. We’re so happy with the results and will definitely be using their services again in the future.

I cannot recommend West London Carpentry enough. From start to finish they have been a dream to work with. Tim and Lazslo did a great job interpreting our design – which was quite complex given the awkward area, however we are delighted with the results. The carpenter and decorator were lovely – extremely polite and professional and have done a fantastic job. I cannot recommend WLC enough – I have been showing off our new study / storage area to everyone who visits and our friends and family are all amazed with the results. Great value for money too. We will be using WLC again for future carpentry projects.

My commission was for a large, custom-made wall unit - 4.5m x 2.5m; the material to be used was solid ash. Christian showed great care and attention to all the details of the complex design from selecting the original timber, all the way through the construction phase to the final hand-polishing of the unit. I particularly appreciated his regular communications throughout the lengthy build. The outcome is a fine, hand-crafted 'statement' piece.

6 back doors had been installed 15 years ago but not maintained since and needed full overhaul Christian worked on the job as an accomplished craftsman, working diligently to leave the doors as good as (or probably better than) new. Rotten wood was carefully dealt with and bolts and locks which previously did not fit worked perfectly. His honest approach meant that work he had originally recommended and included in the estimate was removed when he realised on further investigation was not necessary On the basis of work done on our house I would highly recommend

We are exceptionally pleased with the service Christian has provided for us. He has built a very well made cupboard with three shelves above, all along a difficult stretch of wall in our wobbly and wonky flat. The cupboard’s design is perfectly in keeping with the period features in the rest of the property. Christian was able to carry out this work for us in a timely manner, with good quality materials but at a very reasonable price, was efficient, and a delight to have in our home. We are so pleased with the result and look forward to being in touch when we next have carpentry needs!

So happy with the recent project Form did in our property that I had to share. Angela and Brett were both very professional and knowledgeable about their respective fields of interior design and cabinet-making. Angela designed our bespoke new kitchen down to the minutest of details and Brett made it a reality with his craftsmanship. I recently worked with Dimitry and Solid Carpentry to have a built -in wardrobe fitted in my bedroom so I could have more storage space. Dimitry was excellent right from the start - polite, up front about costs, arriving on time, giving me advice and keeping me updated on the job. I gave him a photo to work from and he made the wardrobe look just like it! It was also a really awkward space, the room is slightly on a slope but he made it fit just right. I'd definitely recommend Solid Carpentry to anyone, and I will definitely be using Solid Carpentry again if I need any more carpentry in the future.

Fast and reliable as an Amazon prime delivery! I found Stuart details on google, under carpenter in my area. I left him a message in the morning, he returned my call in the afternoon. We had a chat, I sent him a few photos and the dimensions for 12 shelves in an unusual location for my flat in highgate. He gave me a quotation after 30 min. The following day he was a my door at the 9 am, as agreed, with the 12 shelves and supports ready for installation. We previously had Stuart and his team to install skirting. They did a great job so we asked them to return to install a new fire door and door frame. Our property is old and so a little wonky making things a little challenging. Despite this they did a great job and the finish was very professional. Would highly recommend. We'll be calling Stuart for our next project.

M&S Carpentry has done an amazing job for us. From start to finish it has been a pleasure to work with them. I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was a little unusual because I wanted to hide an en-suite behind wardrobes and have the doors open inwards. I had spoken to a number of firms who had all said they couldn't or didn't want to do it as it was out of the ordinary. M&S Carpentry were great from the start, they got what I wanted to achieve and helped make that vision a reality. They advised on finishes and approach and it was a real team effort. The job was reasonably priced and they were able to meet my quite quick timetable with ease. The job was delivered on time and on budget and the quality and attention to detail is exceptional. I could not be more happy with the end product. It is exactly as I imagined and I am thrilled with it. I would not hesitate to recommend M&S Carpentry and am already thinking about what else I can get them to build for me!

We were delighted with the fitted wardrobes that Mariusz in our bedroom. He listened to what we wanted and made some really good suggestions that greatly improved the whole look of the wardrobes. They are beautiful and every time I enter the bedroom they make me smile. We then asked Mariusz to fit units either side of our fireplace so that we had storage space but within a setting that improved the look of our living room/dinning area. Again, he came to the house, listened to all the ideas that we had and suggested some of his own, which made for beautifully designed cabinets that are a feature of our living room and are greatly admired by friends and family. We absolutely love them. My husband and I would highly recommended this company, the men were hardworking, polite and after both installations our home was left spotlessly clean.

Mauriusz built bespoke wardrobes in our bedroom in January 2025 in Hertfordshire and a record bench in our bay window. His work is fantastic and we are so happy and have received many compliments. Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.

Nigel undertook several projects for us recently - making and fitting a Victorian hardwood front door, replacing a staircase and fitting shelving in a built-in wardrobe. The finished results are excellent. Nigel is very diligent, doesn't cut corners and carries out his work to a very high standard.
