Andy is absolutely amazing. I've had him do loads of stuff over the last few years, including building bookcases (he's a trained carpenter), staining my floors (which he made look 1000% times better), painting, and resealing windows. He's extremely reliable and honest, and this is confirmed by a former neighbor who first introduced me to him. He's also very tidy, so you don't even know he was there after the work's done. In short, I highly recommend him!

Andy did a great job with our bath frame and panels. He was kind enough to fit us in on short notice after completing some other work. He was responsive, punctual, worked well and quickly and was a really nice person to work with! Andy also had the benefit of cutting items remotely so was able to keep our bathroom incredibly clean, and was tidy in general. I had a great experience with him and will definitely use him again for future work.

Andy did a fabulous job restoring a recently purchased antique chest of drawers. He did a quick and free site visit to assess the piece of furniture and gave an honest evaluation of how it could be restored and what the costs would be. He was able to fit me into his busy schedule because I was anxious about getting the piece fixed. He was prompt and brought all the necessary tools. He walked me through the issues and fully restored the drawers in a timely manner. It wasn’t the most obvious solution, but Andy is knowledgeable, skilled and creative at solving issues. He left the area clean and was tidy during the process. Besides being a skilled carpenter, he is also kind, warm and professional. Would definitely recommend!

I've been looking for more than a year for a skilled joinery team with a polished finish to create a custom curved bench area and a console table for my home. We got in touch with London Custom Joinery to update our kitchen fronts and they did the most amazing job!! The quote was really reasonable and Andrew was very patient with our (half baked) plans and really helpful in realising the vision. Florin did an excellent job on the bathroom renovation. The tilling was clean and tidy. The plumbing fixture installation was good and tidy. He also fitted the shower cubical, vanity top and other bathroom fixtures. Very Professional in his job. Highly recommended and will definitely look him again for future renovations.

My experience with Dimitris has been absolutely first class. In fact I would go as far to say he is the best carpenter/tradesman I have ever come across. His work is meticulous and precise. I had some complicated requests when designing my wardrobes and alcove shelving and he accommodated them with no complaints, producing a beautiful final product, all at a very competitive price. To top things off Dimitris is a highly likeable guy - polite, patient and trustworthy. Just had an amazing floor-to-ceiling cupboard made by West London Carpentry and can highly recommend them for any carpentry service needed. They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. The fitting went seamlessly and the finishing has been done exceptionally well. We are very happy with the result and can highly recommend Tim and his team. Absolutely stunning work, higher than my expectations! Working with Tim and Steve on the design really helped as they ended up giving me far more of an aesthetic look to my media wall. There aren't enough words to describe the impeccable service of the whole West London Carpentry team. Tim was responsive and so personal with us from my first email and design ideas phase, quite literally overseeing every aspect of our work till the final minute. Ray and his father did a wonderful job, it was quick, they were timely and all the repairs around the house were completed to a high standard. The actual work required was extremely varied so I was sceptical if they could do all of it but it only took them a few hours. Will hire again.

cannot recommend Dexterous group and his team highly enough. We are still enjoying the beautiful bathroom he installed for us a year ago. From the the get go Dexterous group displayed amazing customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. He had a totally can do approach about the ideas we had about our bathroom renovation and had plenty of effective ideas for us too. The work is of the highest standard, both tecnically with things like under floor heating and the walk-in shower (everything is still functionally perfectly) and decoratively with the tiling of the floor and walls and any painting; the quoting was always totally transparent and he made an effort to find economical solutions where possible, and the customer service was second to none - they were totally accommodating and flexible about any changes I requested and ensured everything got done just as we wanted it. And Dexterous group came by after months to have a look a couple of fittings that had worked themselves loose - great after care. He is a really nice guy, so pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!!!!

I am so happy to have found such great handymen. I read some reviews about Ray and his dad and decided to phone them for some things that needed repair in my home. In a short time they unclogged my sink hung up a few painting and fixed the railing on my wooden staircase. They made me save a lot of money and time while getting a high quality service. They do a great job they are very professional polite and honest. I will definitely call them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Rather than going via a builder to handle the complete renovation of my 2 bed flat in Wembley, I decided to try my luck and find local tradespeople to do individual jobs instead. Part of the reason was because the builder I have used in the past was extremely busy with two larger extension jobs in Twickenham and part of the reason was cost. I had other builders I know (some I trust and others which were cheap and cheerful) but given what was happening in the wider economy at the time (in the summer of 2022) they came out too expensive. It turned out that HCI was very local to my, based round the corner from where I was staying at the time. My overall feeling of working with HCI is that of satisfaction. They carried out a series of jobs for me at my flat and I found them to be courteous, punctual, competitively priced, competent in the work performed with a good set of tools for each job, and all in all very professional. I am glad I took this route and came across HCI because I will be using them again in future and have had neighbours in my block of flat ask for their details for work they need doing. This is the joy in finding good tradespeople (and their are plenty in London), that is, finding people not just good in their line of work, but more importantly, genuine good people that you can get along with and work with. Such partnerships take the stress out the task and make it all worthwhile.
