Lovely tearoom, with friendly staff. Food was really good and there was plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices too. The table on the far side is on the uneven part of the floor which gives a strange dizzy feel (similar to the upside down house we recently visited! 😅), so we asked to be moved, which they kindly did.

Can't believe I didn't know about this place! Fantastic friendly service, lots of menu choices. Food was hot and delicious, with plenty of it too excellent value for money. Definitely will be going back.

Just back from a lovely visit here. 2 breakfasts, tea, 2 cake and an Oreo milk shake all for £28. Great service and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Happy Sunday! Edit! My wife told me I must tell you about the bubble and squeak! She added it to her breakfast and enjoyed every bit! We will be back!

My 90 year old mum wanted to come here as one of her first times out for something to eat since the pandemic started 2 years ago. The LTS is a well decorated clean tea shop. Its upstairs so hidden away. The stairs are steep but mum managed as there was a rail. Good strong cups of tea and an excellent breakfast choice with many variations possible so it worked well for the 4 of us .Prices are good and so exceptional value especially as the breakfast was good.

Stumbled across here by chance and so glad we did, a warm welcome and a warm restaurant on a chilly day. Staff were attentive and genuinely friendly and the food was wonderful. Definitely will return the next time we venture to Alton.

Great coffee with good crema, perfect sweetness/bitterness mix with their mochas. Brekkie Burger was very good, and the burger sauce was surprisingly spicy, but was a very welcome heat! Never had pastrami on a brekkie burger before but it works very nicely.

What a lovely cafe on the non-busy side of Ashfield train station. The savoury waffles were delicious. The waffles are filled with corn and zucchini then topped with smashed avocado, some cherry tomatoes and a soft boiled egg. The soy flat white was perfect. Go early to avoid the wait.

Saw this on TikTok and went for the recommended coffees. Didn't disappoint! Really know their coffee and have it dialled in well for my double ristretto. Place gets super busy as weekends so bit chaotic knowing who's waiting for a table and who's just waiting for takeaway, but eh - not a big deal. The food is god tier though. Had the mushrooms on toast with poached egg. Sounded ok, wasn't expecting it to be one of the nicest things I've eaten in ages. Deffo get it and see for yourself. Missis had Reuben and it was great too, and although not as good as By George in Croydon Park, it was still up there. The coffee is worth going for daily though, can also have as v60 where they recommend to. Parking was ok, right across from the cafe.

Good coffee here. I just moved to the area and seeking for good coffees to make my local. This one has potential. But I still have a few more to go before I decide. Food is good and interesting options. Some sort of donought that resembles "churros" in a circle. I did not yet try that, but in my list as it looks yummy and interesting. Instead I had the croi-nut (I think that's what they are called, you know the half croissant and halt donought. This one had a lemon cream fill. Delightfully fresh, crunchie, and the filling was a good mix of sweetness and tartiness. Price I found a bit expensive, but then I saw it as worth the experience. The service was casual. Peeps behind the counter were busy doing stuff. I was acknowladged by a look and a hint of a head shake to let me know they noticed my entry. When I ordered the guy asked if I wanted it have here or take away. I did say the place was busy and that unless I sit on someone's lap it might be difficult to have here. I got an acknowledgement to my attempt to be funny. Then he said that it might be a little of a wait, but tables do turn often. Decided to have in, went outside and found an available spot from someone that just left. When I walked back in to wait for my stuff, the guy noticed me and I mentioned I found a spot outside. He just said, go and sit there. I'll find you and bring it over. He did as he said only moments later I was handed my croi-nut. Then seconds later my coffee. Outside there is not much of a view, but a petrol station, a traffic light intersection of streets, and this Absolutely wonderful very large, very leafy, very green tree. But also, the constant flow of people. I love just watching life passing by, so this is not a bad comment on location. It was enjoyable. All in all great service, great coffee, good croi-nut and a great watching of life passing by.

I am on the list of patients for this dentists, and I had a loss of a filling which was a week away from my celebratory holiday. They obliged very quickly and solved the issue. The front desk staff were helpful in arranging the appointment and the dentist did a great job on the filling. I have to admit that the expense surprised me a bit, but given my situation at the time I was happy to pay.

I have been with Andover Dental Practice for many years and the treatment I and my family have received has always been excellent and professional. Fillings are never a pleasant thought and having had 2 very old fillings replaced over the past week, Amelia sorted them out without me feeling a thing. Finding a dentist you not only trust but have full confidence in their skill and professionalism is a price worth paying!

I had such a good experience with this dental practice. I am very scared and anxious of going to the dentist in general, but Amelia is incredibly patient and supportive. She is definitely the best dentist I have ever been to. Cannot praise her enough for being so kind and putting me at ease.

It’s such a great clinic. The staff are so nice and always make a fuss of the children, I think that’s why they love going so much! They give them little goody bags when they’ve been too which is nice. The dentists are really friendly with the children so they always know what’s going on. Our whole family use the clinic, it’s great :)

Absolutely the best Dental practice ever. Rachael (reception) is so nice, kind and empathetic. Michael (my Dentist) is so lovely, kind & funny. The girls (assistsnts) are all so cheerful (and glamorous). Anybody who is scared of a Dental procedure or if you have a medical condition that could cause issues - have absolutely no fear at all - these lovely professionals will instill so much confidence in you receiving the best ever treatment. 110% recommend.

My son visited your dental practice on Friday after having no dentist for a year. So we decided to go private. He was very nervous but Rachel on reception gave us a very warm welcome and Ben started to relax, we were greeted by Carolyn who explained everything that she was going to do to put Ben at ease. She was so kind and understanding. I am so glad I chose Ashfield dental practice the staff are so lovely. All I can say is WOW!! I recently visited the brand new premises for Ashfield Dental clinic and I was very impressed with the whole service from start to finish. As I walked through the doors I found that the attention to detail in the design created a relaxing environment where I could sit in a comfortable & luxurious surrounding whilst I waited to be seen. It felt like everything had been done to a high standard with the customers experience in mind. As I entered the treatment room It felt really modern & spacious. Let’s not forget to mention THERES A TV ON THE CEILING!! So cool. (Pic for reference) Carolyn is a great dentist and I’m always very happy with the quality of dental treatment that she performs. Tucked away in Liss just off the A3 is a really great restaurant waiting to be found. Some really solid and interesting cooking using some great ingredient’s. Canapés of Beetroot Arancini and Choux pastry with Parmesan was lovely and savoury. My starter called Oxtail puff was a Pitivier style puff pastry filled with shredded soft rich oxtail in the most delicious onion veloute….this was truly delicious, smooth and rich full of flavour and topped off with a slice of duck foie. The main of saddle of venison was cooked beautifully served with turnip and preserved plum and a small crisp samosa filled a rich stronger filling. We Finished on a beautifully light rhubarb soufflé served with a great rhubarb sorbet and torched lemon tart. The restaurant it self is small and seats about 16-20 and you feel like you have stumbled upon a hidden gem tucked away in the country side that people are keeping quiet.The service was relaxed and informal….pouring your own wine/water isn’t a problem. Places like Nathan’s don’t usually last long but they have proved that serving great food in an intimate setting works ….Go it’s well worth the effort…They have a strong following so booking a table can be a challenge.

This does what it says on the box: cafe food…think full English, which come in 10 variations, 9 versions of “eggs - light - healthy”. Come here after a night out and you will not be disappointed. Lovely staff, friendly, smiley, prompt service. I had a coffee cake and espresso: probably not the best choice at a cafe. The cake was warm and the espresso was not strong. But hey! I went there, so what can I have expected. The place is clean and tidy with a large unisex loo.

Amazing place , amazing staff and I love coming here. Have been there before as well. This time reached after 3 pm so food options were limited . So we tried hot chocolate and scones and loved both. Fruit Scone was really really nice. Next time I will try the cheese scone :)

I organised a trip here with a small group of care home residents. You are able to park outside the front door in a disabled space if needed. We met two lovely ladies who showed us how the machines work and lots of interesting facts. The residents were very impressed. There is a lift to use if needed. We didn't have time to stop for tea and cake too, but the cakes did look delicious. Next time!

I visited with a group of friends. The Silk Mill is a lovely historic building in a beautiful setting. A very wellcoming person called Charlotte told us lots about the mill, the silk, and the weaving process.What an asset she is! We so enjoyed our visit because of how utterly charming and well informed she is. All the staff we met were very friendly,and the café is great.

Beautiful old building in a pretty setting. Interesting and passionate staff & volunteers to talk you through it. The mill is run by a charity but still takes on special commissions, e.g. for film costumes or royalty. Very reasonable admission price @ £10 or £9 concession. Excellent cafe for lunch.

Been passed this place so many times but decided to actually visit. Good attraction, plenty of history. It's not going to take all day to visit but a pleasant way to spend an hour or two. Looks like it had a good cafe as well but didn't use it this time. Bonus is the ticket lasts a year.
