Had to wait a week for a booking but then very professional and efficient . The MOT was completed virtually within the hour as promised. But although "Pass" formally registered on-line hard copy of the certificate no longer provided nor the old check list to confirm eg if any break pads or tyres etc are worn needing attention soon. But will happily use them again next year.

I took my Tesla Model 3 in for MOT - no problems at all, the garage is familiar with the lifting procedure etc. Would recommend and will return next year.

He never pushes unnecessary advisories (unlike every other garage I've been to), which I really appreciate. It's always a pleasure, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Great experience, Tony collected the car from my house in the morning as agreed and returned it later that day having replaced the front brake discs and pads. He was cheaper than any of the other quotes I was given by local garages and it was much more convenient to me for him to pick up and return the car. I will definitely be using his services again and recommend others do so as well.

This is my local garage and I been using it for couple of years now. They are very reasonable with their prices and always provide high quality services. So many other auto services when they see a women they try to take as much money as possible however its never the case with Romford auto service. They never tried to make money out of me. And all the staff members are always kind and polite. 💯 ⭐

7 years ago I wrote a Google review for this garage that ran as follows: 'Excellent garage. The owner's very personable and sincere, and the feedback's always useful. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.' So 7 years on, has anything changed? Well, for me, yes. I moved from Romford to Upminster to Chelmsford. On my current trajectory, I'll be in Norway in a century. Yet I still take my car to this garage? And why? Because it's just the best, most trustworthy garage I've been to. The owner Roberto now has another person on the desk, a young man with a beard, who is just a top guy. The diagnoses are excellent, the work first rate, and the prices are competitive. However, the advice is also really helpful? I highly rate this garage. In a century, I'll be bringing my car over on a ferry.

I visited Romford Auto only recently and found that the place is very competitive on price especially for the service I received. I would definitely recommend and I didn't have to wait long either as they were quicker than I expected. Have been coming here for service,mot’s and any repairs when necessary, for years. Have recommended them to friends and family. Their not rude ,their not inefficient. What they are is fair, skilled and and genuinely helpful in all circumstances in my opinion,and in these trying times I wish them all the success, which they deserve.

After two local garages seemed uninterested for my business (not answering / calling back with price), I came to this place, having previously avoided it. It seemed big and expensive. However, pleasantly surprised to find they were competitive and helpful. From the dealing with my enquiries, to (early) scheduling, to dropping off, to explanations and returning, it was all very good. No mucking about, friendly and efficient. MOT, full service, new pads+discs, 3 tyres and full tracking -- the final bill (even with additional work) felt fair and honest. Oh, and they replaced a blown bulb for free. That’s exactly what you want from a garage: reliability, transparency, and great customer service. Recommended!

Paul, Thornton and Marie are amazing their customer service is like no other. I will only use this garage now, they are pokite, professional and very knowledgeable, they explained everything to me. My car was brought in by a recovery truck and I was a little stressed, but they took care of everything and made me feel at ease. Because of the breakdown circumstances I was concerned about further engine damage caused, however they encouraged me to bring it back after a week just to check it over and put my mind at ease again. Their prices are good value and the work done was brilliant, thank you to the whole team. See you soon for my service 😊

Found and fixed a leak in my cooling system. Also discovered that my oil level was too high, which along with the coolant leak, had set off an engine warning light and produced two obd2 warning codes, that have now been resolved. Very happy with the great service provided.

Brilliant service! They got my daughters car back on the road ..the mechanic found the problem which was an oil leak lovely staff the mechanic showed where the oil was leaking from on a screen thank you all so much x
