My photos don’t do it justice. 🤔 Delicious, hot, moreish pizza. Obviously fresh quality ingredients. Even the fries were cooked and then seasoned to perfection! They read the notes on my Just Eat order too, which I love. Shows they care. Delivered on time to a patient at Pinderfields Hospital. Even sent me a freebie with a kind note from the staff. ❤️ As a long term inmate of Pinders, this made my day!

My first visit since moving to Wakefield. Couldn’t have picked a better day. Sunshining and sat outside. Really friendly staff and lovely local people. Internally the pub was immaculate. My go-to place now - loved it - thank you. The absolute BEST in the area without a doubt IMO

Called in randomly for a drink. Saw the pizza oven and had delicious wood fired pizza. To top it all it was half price Tuesday!!

Nice atmosphere, food is incredible. Garlic bread with mozzarella amongst the best I’ve had. Pepperoni calzone was to die for

Placed an order online for take out for the first time. The food was incredible everything tasted so fresh and just delicious. It was ready on arrival which was perfect. I can see myself becoming a regular!

It is rare to find a place that is so welcoming and comfortable even on a snow and ice filled day driving custom way down. Most places feel sterile when it's dead quiet. The owner, Adrian, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Engaging in conversation and recommendations while I queried him. The food; the bagel I had was excellent, quite possibly one of the best I have had in the last few years. The price reflected this but all prices are clearly displayed so you know before you order. The coffee, of which there are multiple beans you can choose from, was delicious and matches the bagel well. All in all I asked if he could move closer to where I live as would make this a regular haunt if I was able. Instead will have to return whenever I am in Wakefield instead. Outstanding. Thank you.

Discovered this place while picking up some materials for work… Amazing quality food :) Lovely owner and the Jazz music theme going on is great – appreciate it as I’m a jazz musician myself. Rare find. Sadly, the large commercial chains have obliterated small businesses like this - they will disappear unless they are supported with your custom. Highly recommended, especially for musicians. Now my favourite eatery in Wakefield :)

I wanted a quiet spot to grab some food and a coffee from before doing a morning shop in Wakefield and saw this place a few weeks back. They don't advertise a lot so it's very low key but what a gem it is. I was able to relax and have a beautiful north star coffee (filter only which is perfectly fine!) And a beautiful sausage and egg bagel. Amazing spot, the lady who served me was super friendly too. Will be back.

Had the best Carrot cake I've ever had there today. They also serve gorgeous bacon sandwiches on tiger bread 😋

Always great food, always great service. As a result it can get busy, but there's plenty of room upstairs too. Has a pleasant outside area that catches the sun nicely (when it decides to make an appearance - a rarity in Wakefield unfortunately). Thankfully it also has a lovely new awning to help keep the rain at bay.

Probably the best coffee in Wakefield. Ditch the big chains. This family-run coffee has it all - delicious coffee, really friendly and welcoming staff (especially the owner's son), and loads of outdoor seating with a gorgeous view of the Cathedral.

Lovely cafe with the best coffee around. We come here every weekend without fail. The food is delicious and always have a great variety. I am always watching out for the weekend specials! The staff are always so cheery and kind too. ❤️

Nice cafe, at newmillerdam, nowt fancy, but ordinary food, great 🍟 chips. And a decent view. Been going to this cafe for over 25 years, hasn't changed. Long may it continue.

Got a table straight away. "Outside" was a lovely day. Cleanliness spot on. Service was fast, productive, and friendly. Couldn't fault it. We got the ham & cheese panini which was quite nice but I was dissapointed with the breakfast (please refer to the pictures) I asked for the biggest breakfast they had and unfortunately it didn't come with much choice on it. In comparison to other places, the sausages weren't the best. I would only recommend this place for lunch, not breakfast. It's still a lovely cafe, though that does a really nice Latte.

Lovely place to chill and have breakfast in the morning. Food taste good and their cakes is so fresh! Will be back for more.

I have ordered food from Amirah Spice for about 5 years. Nine times out of ten the food is spot on. Last night was no exception. I had one of the best Lamb Jalfrezi's that I've had in a long time. The food arrived hot and was full of flavour. Amirah Spice is one of my favourite takeaway's.

I've been ordering for several years from Amirah Spice, yet this is my first review for them. My dishes include lamb most of the time. If you don't mind a bit of extra ginger and medium spiciness I strongly recommend Sylheti, it's my favorite. I was impressed of how much flavour it has and the right balance of spice for my taste. They didn't won those year awards for nothing in my opinion All the best Bob

A great find . Delicious sunday lunch . Very generous portion. Liked the family style sharing vegetables . Great service. Extremely well stocked farm shop with a beautiful array of produce . Loved the fresh orange juice self service machine where you can bottle your own takeaway juice and also different flavoured takeaway milk machine too. Perfect place for all ages. The outdoor area serving pizza and takeaway foods has a great atmosphere. There is a children's farm for " Little Farmers " Only thing I would say as a downside , no vegan ice-cream and the portion served in the ice-cream hut was very a small scoop and she didn't wear gloves.

Popped in to get lunch before getting on the M1. I had carrot soup and a tuna jacket potato. Both were amazing! My partner had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was very good. The actual shop is huge, and lots of good produce. There's the Barn Kitchen which was very busy so I suggest booking a table. We picked up food from the hot counter and there is a nice covered area where you can sit outside to eat.

I booked afternoon tea for two for my friends birthday and it did not disappoint. We had four little sandwiches each with various fillings. Four sweet treats and a scone with jam and cream plus unlimited tea and coffee. Lovely food and friendly hard working staff. We had a wander around the farm shop and the animals. For a small fee you can feed the animals. It’s changed a lot since my last visit and definitely worth a visit with children.

Best tomato and garlic bread pizza to start in the whole world! Love this place ❤️ Could have more vegetarian options but they're very accommodating if you ask to switch meat out.

Excellent experience as always. I come here and to the Horbury restaurant all the time. We had starters, mains, desserts and a couple of cocktails. The quality of food is excellent, especially for the price. The mains came out a reasonable time after the starters. The service was excellent and we weren’t made to feel rushed, which is always nice. I’d highly recommend the mussels for a starter, if you love seafood.

Lovely restaurant, staff we're very friendly and attentive. Food was really good just not amazing for the cost, could get better in that price range.

We went for a family celebration meal for my daughter's birthday (midweek on an evening). It's a massive place, nice looking. The atmosphere isn't great when there aren't many people. The food was brilliant. The best steak that I've had outside of America. Service was sometimes good but it took a while for mains to arrive and ages to get the bill even though it was quiet. They then had the cheek to automatically add a 'Service Charge', although, to be fair, they did point this out and removed it but I do hate the fact that these places do this, especially when they don't have excellent service.

We do local breakfasts quite a lot. I personally find this to be the tastiest breakfast. Especially the bacon and the butter!! On today's visit, I saw several additions to the breakfast menu. Tough decision! But I accepted not getting any bacon or toast and trying the Waffels benedict. I was not disappointed at all! It was full of flavours and perfectly cooked. We were served by Sam, who was very pleasant and helpful. Ps. I pinched a bite of bacon and slice of toast off husbands plate.

Booked a table for Christmas Eve, arrived early and was shown to our table. Steak was cooked perfectly for my husband and I really enjoyed the veggie one burger, finished with hot crumble and custard. Staff are friendly with a good pub atmosphere. Good value for money.

2nd time we've eaten here in a couple of weeks. Tonight 3 of us had some lovely food The Mixer Grill was great and I struggled to finish it. Very good service too, used the app which worked fine and drinks/food brought over swiftly. For a 'chain' pub this is very good. The pub is in a great setting and there are also some lovely canal walks right outside the door.
