Great food with lovely and friendly staff.

Friendly, good service, nice grub, only thing marked down for is can be smokey from cooking which means clothes smell after. But otherwise we'll worth a call in good price and good grub and do extra large coffee and tea ☕ 👍

Never been here before, but the food we had, was delicious, the egg yolks went everywhere, just how I like it haha, I will back

The food is good quality and great value. The staff are really friendly and always happy to see you. You can get a homemade hot meal for a fiver!! Where else can you get that.

Nice staff, lovely bacon sandwich, but at £3.50 it's too expensive for me to be eating in there anymore.

What a great place. We had two toasted tea cakes. And two drinks, best tea cakes we've had for a long time. Very friendly place,service excellent and people very friendly. Will definitely go back when in the area. If you're passing it is worth a stop.

I love this place the food is excellent every single time! Every member of staff working there are absolutely lovely. The portion sizes are great making it worth every penny spent. Don’t hesitate to come here you won’t regret your decision.

What a cafe. I don't live in Halifax so difficult to get here but when I am I call in. Great portions, hot, well cooked. Great price AND you get fried bread! I say no more

Coming up the North to see family and we all meet up to go for a breakfast as this was not to far away from where we was staying soon as we come in was really friendly with great manners the drinks come nice and quiet just within 5 mins the food was here 😊 all cooked and nice just one bit I was not to happy with was the omelette as was so much oil and was way to much cheese in it as it was all the pain the oven but everything else was great 👍

Absolutely bang on, best overall coffee shop around I think. Service was good, all the staff were very friendly. If you are on a diet though it's no good, the cake selection is mental. I had a lotus cookie crumb pot or something like that and it's honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted

Was waiting at the hospital car park for a family member and saw this coffee shop was nearby. Ordered a takeaway coffee and it’s delicious! So many choices too. The guy who served me was also super friendly. Wish I had time to get a bagel too because the options for those looked great. Looked like there was plenty of seating area too. Got a nice little spot now for whenever I have to do the hospital runs 😊

Best coffee I’ve found in Halifax! Super friendly to both humans and dogs. Shout out to Kelsey for a great espresso and Kelsey’s mum for a fantastic mushroom soup.

Amazing quality and tasting coffee, great selection of cakes and doughnuts. Had the chorizo chicken bagel which was delicious 💕 and it’s dog friendly 🤎only advice would be to maybe have seating outside during summer? It would be so nice to enjoy coffee in the sun ☺️

A lovely little find to finish off our quick visit to Halifax! Limited seating inside but the weather was nice enough to be outside. Service was second to none, so friendly without being intrusive. Such a lovely place! Had an extremely delicious vegan breakfast and latte and a cake to take away! Staff are very welcoming and best of all it’s dog friendly. Will definitely be returning soon

First time visit to this cafe and what a gem! Ordered a cafetiere for two and a full English breakfast and a vegan breakfast. The food was delicious and the menu states it's locally sourced. The meat breakfast was 2 sausage, 2 bacon, mushrooms, tomato, beans , hash brown and toast for just under £10. Everything was good and fresh. The coffee is also local to the cafe and was a good cup full of flavour. I will visit again the future!

Absolutely love it here. It's usually quiet so don't need to book. The food is amazing, everything we've tried over the last couple of years has always blown us away. If I'm Halifax for food it's a must visit.

Finally got round to visiting Cafe Passion and was not disappointed. Amazing food & friendly service. We will be back!

We went today for a girls late lunch. My friends have all been before but it was my first time and I was blown away, it was utterly amazing. The food and service were fantastic. We all ordered something different and each meal was so tasty and fantastic sized portions. The chicken was so tender and the salad that came with the meals was so fresh. I fetched some of my meal back as the portion was so big and my husband has just eaten it. I’ll be booking again soon so we can try some of the other dishes form the menu as there is so much choice. Thank you for making our special day more special

Popped in for some lunch and the food is still so lovely. Really good quality and fantastic prices. Unfortunately due to the cost of living and possibly the terrible road works in town it was quiet but I will definitely return and highly recommend.

Paid another visit to The Cakery today and it was just as good as the first time! Great food, plenty of options to choose from. Really lovely staff offering exceptional service. Nice buzz about the place and child friendly too. It's definitely worth booking a table if you're planning on visiting during busy times. Will be back soon!

Really great food and good value too. Our dirty fries, burger and nachos were fantastic You order at your desk with a QR code, we were told it would be 25 minutes but food arrived within 15: bonus! Staffing needs a bit more personality for a top place like this though. Although I've driven past this place many times, I didn't even know you could have a meal here because of the name. We went today to have a coffee and cake and it turns out they do proper food! Their cakes on display were basic, especially compared to the food menu. I think they're not helping themselves by calling their place "The Cakery".

An evening Christmas event of bauble decorating. Well thought out evening with as much, or as little, help and inspiration! Cannot thank the team enough for such a happy atmosphere, and finished product. Limitless paint and accessories so felt luxurious, we weren’t limited in any aspect. Add in warm and comfortable Cakery, festive music, perfect cakes. The Staff went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. Congratulations to the Cakery, couldn’t have been improved on.
