I can’t praise this lovely coffee shop enough. I’m so lucky to have this in the village where I live but I would travel from afar if I had to! The coffee is the best I’ve ever had and the cakes are so good! Lots of variety and I always buy extra to take home. Very friendly owner and all the positive comments are well deserved. It’s clear that a lot of hard work and dedication goes into making this cafe as good as it is.

Absolutely gorgeous place...the cakes were superb.......and we bought the little Xmas cakes to have later as well and they were delicious ... Service was excellent too....100% recommend this place....

Our favourite coffee and cake shop for miles & miles around. Small café situated in an old post office with a warm welcome, great coffee and fabulous homemade cakes made fresh by the owner…she’s properly talented. Our go to place if we fancy a sweet treat with caffeine. Excellent!!

So lovely! I’ve been meaning to go for years, finally had time to pop in today and it’s absolutely lovely in here. Such a lovely relaxing place to sit, a real family and friendly feel. The coffee is great and the cakes look absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely come back 💕😍

I've been a few times for lunch with friends, breakfast or to private functions and it's fabulous. Great atmosphere and surroundings and the food is always spot on. Great veggie options too :)

Great atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Food was absolutely delicious and the staff were spot on. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating in the sun and can't wait to visit again. It was a great location with some amazing walks so I was very happy to end my walk with some fantastic food

A cafe in a rural setting. Dog friendly. Nice selection of brunch/lunch foods on the menu as well as cakes. The coffee had a good flavour and was a good value. Their small car park fills up quickly but there's wide enough roads around to park your car. Of the things I'd like to see done differently is to set the egg whites slightly more as my egg's white was very runny (but thanks to that the yolk was perfectly runny). I do however hate a solid yolk so I've got to be careful what I am wishing for. There's a public footpath at the end of Field Lane if you fancy stretching your legs. Overall a good place and we'll be back.

Excellent lunch with a friend and our two black labs. Very friendly service and the chorizo rosti with black pudding special I had was sublime. Delicious coffee too. Definitely dog friendly.

Very much enjoy a lunchtime visit to Nom. It ticks all the boxes. Excellent menu & food, outstanding friendly service, relaxed atmosphere & usually. . . .rather cool music selection playing. Definitely recommend a visit if in the area.

Had a lovely brunch here with my wife and our friend. Fantastic welcome from the attentive and friendly staff. Menu is broad but not overwhelming, with options for all tastes. Coffee is high quality and made for those who appreciate a very good cup. Food was made by people who care about flavour and pesentation, and you can see and taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The service was quick and easy, and felt tended to, but not pressured. Atmosphere is lovely, with super chill music and pleasant decoration. Overall; clean, tasty, sensible prices and lovely people. Will 100% go back.

Brilliant spot to eat. I have been here a couple times recently after going for a walk. First of all the staff are lovely and welcoming. The variety of food is great and i ended up choosing off the specials. I had a Korean pork belly and beef burger which was 10/10, can’t recommend highly enough. I’ve also been before and had the breakfast skillet which is also a great fry up. All the food is well priced and good portions. Thanks

A hidden gem in huddersfield! Very little shops around the world can compare to the care and relaxing atmosphere that this place offers. After visiting this shop for over 3 years I decided to take a Job as staff in this little place! To be able to reach and connect more with my community and promote myself as a private spanish teacher (completly succeded) I must say that the kindness,care, and loving heart of this place can not be measured in words. Congratulations, you are and always be the best coffee place in the world. I am so lucky to had found this.

Beautiful little coffee shop in a superb Yorkshire village. Quality of coffee is absolutely first class as is the range of cakes. Highly highly recommended however table space is limited

My husband and I have been coming to Wired Coffee and Cake since before we moved to the village, and it’s always a delight. We’re greeted with a warm welcome every time, the coffee is consistently spot on and made with care, the food is fantastic, and the cakes are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

What a find, picturesque, and overall great location for a lovely cafe, friendly staff too

Great food and good service. Coffee was quite good on my recent visit, but on my previous one (a couple of months ago) was tasting like an instant. It is a dog friendly cafe but the tables are rather close to each other so please mind this if your pet is nervous. Exposed beams and large windows facing east (-ish), with few tables right next to it so you can catch the morning sunshine. USB charging points in power outlets for convenience. Directly opposite is car parking with about 20 spaces (at least one for disabled and some charging points as well). There's also plenty of space along Lidget Street.

Such a lovely place to call in for a coffee. The Cappuccino was spot on and reasonably priced. Lots of atmosphere and obviously very popular. It was busy but service was excellent. I have only rated the food 4 based on its appealing appearance - I didn't have time to eat! Would love to call in again when in the area.

Hi, Lovely coffee, only negative is that you have to spend £5 when paying by card. This would put me off returning, as I don't carry cash, and I don't always want to eat.

Amazing food in a reasonable price. I've tried already the bolster moor breakfast and the smoked salmon. Both are amazing! The order in the photo costs £29. Nice view and atmosphere. The only downside is that it can get quite busy sometimes.

A fabulous large English breakfast. Mrs C had the "best bacon butty in England" and she concurs. Highly recommended.

Huge portions of freshly made home food. Amazing coffee (I'm Italian and drink it with no sugar so I'm super fussy) with a great variety of "milks" and substitutes. Staff are young and kind, attentive, all smiles, service is fast but so accurate. They go out of their way to make customers happy. Immaculately clean and lovely choice of music. The cakes are so so tasty.

Great ambience and Decor #sold Tasty sandwiches.. They do a lovely Caramel Ice Latte and Cappuccino. Great cake selection and spotted a meringue 😋 I had a bacon and Tomato sandwich.. it was fab!!(I'm fussy with my Bacon butties I eat one everyda!☝🏾) The staff are simply very nice, polite, happy with their work kind of people. All adds to a friendly atmosphere and satisfying experience. I'd definitely recommend. 10/10 From Me and my friend 😊

Good coffee. The dining area is an average lounge sized but with 5 or 6 tables. Quite cramped. Coffee and walnut cake too sugary but the lemon meringue was just right. Pleasant service. Dog friendly.

Great cafe with good selection of fresh baked goods. Met a friend for coffee and cake - we both plumped for the carrot and ginger cake which was delicious. Fresh, tasty and moist cake. The coffee was good. Excellent selection of dishes on the menu should you want light bites, brunch, lunch etc. Cafe was nice and clean. Prices reasonable. Friendly welcoming staff - for me it's a shame I'm not local as I would love a regular visit!

Really lovely cafe, amazing food, possibly the best egg salad sandwich I've ever had! And the twice cooked chips are sooooo good!! Definitely would recommend!

Fabulous had the Eggs Benedict which was delicious, my friend had Turkish eggs which looked fantastic. Really nicely decorated, it was a bit quiet when we went. The only issue was the variety of drinks available, most soft drinks/ fruit juices were unavailable due to a busy day the day before. But apart from that we had a lovely brunch.

We had our breakfast here today and WOW the medium breakfasts were cooked to perfection! I haven’t had a full english breakfast that good in ages! The staff were all also lovely and professional even when they were busy! We definitely recommend this place!!

One of the very best full English I have had in many months. Mother and daughter run and what a superb job they do. Great value for money and you won’t leave hungry. Strongly recommend.
