First time we have used this cafe always used another cafe when we visited castleford creatures of habits the atmosphere in this cafe was lovely the staff laughing and joking amongst themselves it reminded me of where I used to work before I got ill I had a lovely omelette catered to my taste it was just perfect thank you to the chef my other half had the liver dinner it was a right plate full he said he really enjoyed It also there are homemade cakes which all looked delicious we had a scone and a slice of egg custard lovely we will definitely use this cafe again and very reasonably priced

Lovely cafe, where things are cooked to order. We had a breakfast and could choose for example how we wanted our eggs, and whether animal sausages or vegetarian. Various covid measures in place inc sanitiser by the entrance, and staff were friendly. Very nice breakfast.

Called in for a quick coffee and found a little gem! The staff here make you feel like a friend and I had an incredible toasted focaccia, made by a local baker and served with a smile. The large amount of parking made this an easy stop off and I'll certainly be back!

Staff This seems to be a family run business with friendly staff, who are polite and seem to go the extra mile when it comes to customer satisfaction, simple small talk, a smile as you reach the counter goes a long way to making this a relaxing place to visit. Product Only today I have been in for a coffee and a bacon sandwich, service was quick and it is quality and quantity which you receive. Highly recommended place to visit, warm comfortable establishment with a wide range of choice and members of staff who go the extra mile Rated 5 stars for a reason and not disappointed.

Very clean and tidy. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Ample menu at very reasonable prices. The Americano coffee was delicious and reminded me of being back in the US! (Sadly without the refills!) 😀

The coffee is of a consistently high quality at a reasonable price. So much better than the big name chains. Good selection of food available, child friendly and Wi-Fi too.

Food is always excellent here after visiting a few times. Coffee and cakes are equally as good. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful and the pricing is more than reasonable. See you soon!

I enjoyed a nice sausage sandwich for breakfast at the Tearooms whilst watching the water in the river flow by. Pleasant place for breakfast and a coffee; staff friendly.

Lovely tearoom, decorated nicely, friendly and helpful staff. They got a bit confused about my dietary requirements, but apart from that we had a lovely time. It's great that they are making use of the lovely old mill buildings, and that it's a working heritage flour mill.

Decent value traditional food and very popular with the older generation. Outside seating if the weather is decent.

Not been here in years,it is still great. The food is homecooked. Still propper chips,you can tell how good it is because it is nearly always busy. The prices have gone up a bit but still not too costly and well worth it to eat good food. The staff are very friendly and they tend to stay working there which shows it must be a nice place to work.

Linzy n staff do a proper nice breakfast, had 2 days running week before last. eggs bang on, toast or bread with, bacon sausages beans toms n hash brown in 3 sizes s,m,l. Reasonable and tasty. Nicely decorated and seating outside.

Lovely breakfast in nice surroundings .. will certainly be returning 👍
