I usually come in for the excellent coffee and friendly service. Chloe for her super friendly and overall leadership attitude, and Katelyn for her excellent barista skills and super friendly as well. The owner is also consistently friendly and good for a chat. Overall it is usually one of the highlights of my day to come into Esquires and grab a cup of coffee, or food on my way to work.

Got recommended to come here by a lady walking her pug in the park - it was -1 and my first time to Alton with my toddler and we needed to warm up. Walked past maybe 3 different coffee shops to find it from the public gardens and we were not disappointed. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating. I had the nutcracker latte and my boy had pom bears and water haha 😆. Looking at the menu, the food had lots of gluten free options and pricing was super reasonable. Really looking forward to coming back and tasting some!

Stopped here to work for the day as my dog was having a procedure at a local specialist vets. Perfect location on the high street (paid parking options very close), reliable WiFi, the food and drinks have been fantastic, and the service from everyone has been great! Would highly recommend to pop in for a coffee in general or a remote work location when needed!

Excellent coffee, food and ambience. Snehal, the owner was extremely courteous and professional. The staff in general are also very courteous. The only coffee shop to stop at for my next visit too. I briefly stopped before my meeting that was due in 45 minutes but came back for another cuppa and sat with my book for a couple of hours. Scrambled eggs on sourdough was very fresh and flavourful. The extra tea bad in my request for a strong tea was duly catered to and my afternoon americano was strong and fresh. I wouldn’t bother with other cafes around for the personalised service was stellar. I noticed that the dog owners were equally comfortable and cozy ! Thank you !

Drove all the way from Basingstoke to visit this coffee shop and it was worth it. Amazing atmosphere and great coffee and food 😋, avocado toast was so yummy… I wish I had some more space in my tummy for a second round…. We sat back in a cozy corner to enjoy the coffee and food. Will definitely keep coming back here. Ohhh forgot to say, it’s pet friendly too..and Moyà also had some yummy treats
